For the other game played today, Sheffield lost the match vs Aston Villa by 1 goal, dunno what's going on with it...

It was an easy match for Manchester City yesterday.
Two early goals in the first half by De Bruyne and Foden cleared the game for them.
De Bryune seems to be the leader again for City. He had contribution in the third goal as well where he assisted Gabriel Jesus. It would be very worthy for City if he continues like that till the end.

it was not an easy game for the city, if the wolves yesterday had not missed many goals the city would lose and definitely if city continues like this they will not have a chance to be a champion, yesterday I realized that city didn’t only lose because Wolves failed a lot, but if city were playing with Liverpool surely liverpool would win

Yeah true, it wasn't an easy one. Between the Wolves goal and Jesus one it was tense and every City fan was afraid from receiving a second goal. City 3rd goal was good but at the same time relieving the tense
After all City claimed back +3 points from Wolves compared to the previous season which is a good start!

Wolves quality is still far from Man City, we can see from the statistics on goal kicks, ball possession and pass accuracy. btw, if Liverpool fight Man City then I can't predict which team will win because the quality of both is very good.

I don't think this game told us much, other than that Villa have problems against teams who just sit back to defend. Something to bear in mind with in-game betting - if Villa go a goal down, they may struggle to find an equaliser. Of course all that may change now they've bought Traore.

I watched that game closely and will say that I agree with you said up there^^. Aston Villa do have a problem going against teams with strong defences. I was supporting Villa in that game but after watching that game I would say if Egan wasn't red carded then the game would have gone different for Blades. The moment Egan was sent off Sheffield changed their tempo to very defensive nature throughout the game until the goal from Villa. After that they were a bit agressive on attacking but failed to find an equaliser.

Mourinho has always played defensively & counter attacked but if you don’t have world class attackers you won’t win like this. Kane is ok but he’s not elite.

Coaches like Pep & Klopp play much more expansive & attacking football which gives you more chances to win games. A great attacking team will beat a great defensive team more often than not.

In addition to your comment Jose Mourinho is synonymous with "parking the bus" style of play which is always defensively minded team invariably plays boring games, he has Son, kane, Dele Alli and Lucas Moura in his squad, these are good and quality attackers with goal scoring abilities I don't know why mourinho choose that style of play.
I won't be surprise if he get sacked or fired soon if continues with that style of play his team will definitely lose matches which will result to his unceremonious exit.

Dele Alli barely play anything last season and he wasnt included on the squad on their last game. There was some rumours about him being sold as well

There were tons of talks regarding this but why would they sack Mourinho especially when Tottenham managed to score 5 goals on their last game? It totally doesnt make any sense. I get that everyone wants him to really build up the team but he barely coach Tottenham less than 1 year, what can you expect from that?

Plus he has 4 years contract so he probably will be around unless Tottenham drop out of the top 6 probably

Spurs are a better side in the EPL as we all know and your only sacked when you don't do well and that's justifiable. One thing about a good coach isn't just coaching your team to be better but also knowing your opponents strength and weaknesses. How do you do that, you notice there offence and defence when on a pitch against them. If you know this, supposing your been asked to come coach the team someday, your sure to do greatly aside from knowing the players individually.
I'm not saying Jose Mourinho isn't a good coach but, he's got this temper that always hinders him from doing the best he can do for the team once annoyed.
That's his only limitation that needs checking.

I agree if Mourinho continues to maintain his idealism by playing defensively it will make it difficult for Tottenham to win games.
It can be seen that the first match Tottenham have to lose against Everton, even though Tottenham should be able to play more
attacking with the quality of the players they have now. I agree Mourinho will be fired if he doesn't change his style of play immediately,
because in my opinion the Premier League is not suitable for playing with a defensive strategy. Unless Tottenham face strong teams

I think Mourinho still has time to prove. Spurs just had made two good signings and team and management know how weak their defense is. BTW it's the start of the new season so not now. Maybe like in Dec-Jan if Spurs don't improve under Mourinho still.

Spurs have very weak defending and I hope with Reguilon being signed from Real Madrid, it will be solved. But if you ask me the position of Spurs right now then I would say similar to Man Utd. Both of them have very weak defending.

Last match , Southampton were also were defending quite bad but as one of the big teams of PL they also need to up their attacking line game.

It is very surprising to see Arsenal on the top 3!
I know it is still early in the league but they made a valuable signing -Willian- which can help them make a better season. It would be a pitty to see Chelsea getting a lower position than Arsenal. Chelsea spent so much money in this transfer window.

That is not surprising as everything is still quite early and has only won two of the two game. I am only amazed by the achievement of Leicester City who are quite productive in scoring goal so far in the League which make them occupy first place in the standing.

It is still too soon to decide that a team that failed to achieve good result in the first two game is a team that will not be able to compete until the end of the season in a league like Chelsea. Even though they lost the second match, I think they'll be back in action in the next game. I dont doubt their capacity in the Liga as one of the big team, but thing can still change if a team fail to play consistently to win every game.

So far looking at the table Crystal palace did the best job, took 3 points from Man utd and from what I've seen from that match they have a fighting team there, dark horse for a lot of top teams I think.

And Leeds and WBA matches will always be fun to watch based on the opening rounds.

We have seen what happened in the past where Chelsea except much from new players and get impatient with them, and how the left and did well at other football club, de bruyne, Mohammed salah, so if Chelsea have learnt from that, they would give the new guys space/time, Chelsea won't win the English premier league but if the improve on last season 2019/2020 and any league cup the money they spent this season would have be profitable/fruitful.

Is this gonna happen? I saw the last game they won 5-2, Son Heung Min became a star scoring four goals. I think they had a bad start, two defeats in the EPL, but in the third week they play well at Southamton. This week they will appear in the Europa League to be precise on Friday and play in the EPL on Sunday. The schedule is pretty close. Regarding dismissal, in my opinion it is still the beginning. If Mourinho and his men can perform consistently, I don't think his dismissal will happen.
