Chelsea won against a team that's in better form than they are in the champions league last night but that doesn't mean they're getting to that winning ways and some Chelsea fans still don't believe Potter is the man for the job while some were a little bit impressed by the way the blues played and got a win. From all have seen in last night's game, it seems that Potter still don't know who to use or sub for who, imagine subbing Kovacic and bringing in Pulisic who's not that sharp, why not bring in someone like Mudryk who knows how to force attack and make defenders run backwards, I still see him [Potter] finding it really hard to mix his players.

So far, so good. The Chelsea players and fans are really happy about this victory over Dortmund. On the other side, it has safeguarded Potter's Chelsea head coaching contract.
Not that Potter is incapable of managing Chelsea.
Potter's primary issue at Chelsea, in my opinion, is his inability to decide who should start a certain game or not. If Potter is given as much time as Chelsea management promised, I think he will eventually start to make the proper adjustments and formations in every game they play against any team.

Chelsea played well in the recent two games they had first in Premier League they beat Leeds and got an important three points which had a good effect o the atmosphere of the team and then when everyone including myself was thinking they will lose the game against Dortmund the won the game with a 2-0 result but still they are 10th of the table and they got only 34 points that's why they have a long way to reach the top teams in the league.

I think this two recent games of chelsea are their best game they have performed so well for the season. The improvement of Chelsea is a good development despite the season has gone so far. If Chelsea continues end up with good result in every game it is a good improvement against next season and will definitely make Graham Potter to last as Chelsea coach. If Chelsea succeed in defeating Tottenham in their next game then it is an evidence that their performance is stable.

If this is somehow "we are finally getting good" for Chelsea, then that's great, look at how Liverpool finally found themselves a spot at the top already, and there is a chance Liverpool could go to UCL next season when nobody gave them a chance when they sucked, now they look good.

Chelsea might be a little late to the party, but showing some signs of improvement would be amazing for them, being in quarter or even potentially semi finals in UCL with some 5th or 6th in the league would make the manager keep his job. However, for some reason I do not believe that this will go on for too long, I feel like they are going to end up staying as a bad team and this was just a one off game.

This week's match will bring Fulham vs Arsenal. As we know, in the previous match Arsenal managed to win dramatically against Bournemouth, while Fulham from the last 5 matches they only lost 1 against Brentford. As for Arsenal's head to head statistics, it is clear that they are very superior against Fulham. I think Fulham have a pretty good record and it could be a pretty tough game for Arsenal especially since it's an away game for Arsenal. But I think Arsenal still won this game and it looks like they don't want to drop points and have to continue to widen the distance from Manchester City.

Now is a difficult time for Arsenal, because they are required to be able to achieve maximum results every week if they still want to be at the top of the standings until the end of the season. Manchester City are behind them by only 5 points, and those 5 points are a very tight distance in my opinion in the Premier League. Fulham is not a team to be underestimated, so they have to play their best.

That's right, Arsenal can't afford to lose points in just one game because that could be an opportunity for Manchester City to catch up to them. On the other hand, Manchester city will face Crystal Palace and if we look at the last 5 matches of Crystal Palace they have quite an interesting record with 1 win, 3 draws and 1 defeat. What I'm worried about later is if Crystal Palace can hold Manchester City to a draw at home and it will be a loss for Manchester City if they fail to secure the full 3 points later.

Liverpool can turn the tide for themselves in the Premier League from now on in fact but I still don't want to be sure of them also.

Because a similar scenario earlier in the season comes to my mind and it hinders me from trusting them already. They didn't start the season well but they got an amazing win against Bournemouth later. But this still didn't change much thing for Liverpool as they continued to play poorly and get bad results. This unforgettable win against Manchester United is really hard to forget though. But Liverpool need to continue winning to make that win meaningful. For example their next game is against Bournemouth and a comfortable win is a must for them.

Liverpool should face Bournemouth in the next game and which can't be a hard game for Klopp and his players because Bournemouth is the last team on the table and during this season they didn't show good performance at all also in the last five games these two teams had which each other Bournemouth lost all the games and last time Liverpool won the game with a 9-0 result so I guess Klopp can give some rest to his players for this game and same some power for Real Madrid.

Bournemouth is an easy team, as you say. Klopp can rest some players, even with a few players resting, Bournemouth can beat Liverpool. Real Madrid conceded two goals in the Champions League, and after conceding two goals, they turned the match, conceding exactly five goals. I think it will be easy for Madrid to control this difference in the second return match. Even though Liverpool looks bad in their last game, they can't play the same game in every game. If they score an early goal in the return match, Liverpool may have a chance with fast attacks, but it's very impossibility

To be honest, I still have doubts about this.
Even though in terms of the quality of the players and the name of the club Bournemouth is clearly far away when compared to Liverpool and last week they played very extraordinary against MU but the conditions are still uncertain.
Small teams always try to defend as best they can so they don't concede goals and in this case they will do anything including keeping all their players in defensive positions.
I have my doubts here with Liverpool because when you see the 7 goals last week almost started on the counter-attack and the Manchester United players came back late to accept that but it would be a different story if the players were ready to defend and surely it will be Bournemouth.

The game was pivotal to the future of head coach Potter after a run of just two wins in 12 cranked up the pressure on Potter. The win is really important for the struggling team and the manager. Graham Potter has been trying different tactics since his appointment and getting these results means much to him. That crisis has significantly handicapped Potter's hopes of building a team capable of consistent Premier League performances. They await their quarter-final opponents having made it back-to-back wins.

Liverpool in the next match will play away against Bournemouth and currently Bournemouth are at the bottom of the standings, so I think for the next match Liverpool still looks to have the ability to win. But unfortunately, Liverpool will really get tough opponents after playing against Bournemouth. Because after Liverpool play against Bournemouth, then Liverpool had to play against Real Madrid in the Champions League and worse, after that Liverpool had to play against Manchester City, Cheslea and also Arsenal.

With the tough opponents that Liverpool will face after the Champions League, I think the rotation that will be made is unlikely to allow Liverpool to consistently achieve the expected results or win in every match. It will be a tough schedule, but if Liverpool can get a good result either win or draw then of course Liverpool will be able to ensure a top four finish.

The problem with unstable teams is that they can win one (or several) games convincingly, and then lose points in a game with an outsider. I wouldn't have much confidence in Liverpool right now as all their thoughts are (I think) on the Real Madrid game. If Real knock them out (most likely) then I would say Liverpool would be a suitable team to bet on as they will be fully focused on the Premier League and will play every game like it's their last.

Chelsea is already at the bottom and it needs to take the small team seriously to make sure if Chelsea will able to win and get full points by the end of the season. UCL is the only trophy that can be won by chelsea. I see no chance for chelsea to be qualified for UCL if chelsea keeps losing more and more points in EPL. The good result against leeds didn't prove that chelsea backs on its best performance. Chelsea needs to win a few more matches in a row.

They don't stand at bottom of table but their position is not good. They have big gap with top four and with good forms of clubs in top six and above plus a very poor form of Chelsea, it is impossible for Chelsea to beat all above clubs and enter top four. They can pass through one or two above clubs but impossible to do it with all above clubs.

Chelsea was at the middle of table but it's still possible to go even lower than it. Im not sure if chelsea has been recovering from its bad performance. There are still more than 10 matches remaining. The performance from clubs that already at the top 4 are still inconsistent but i do agree if chelsea needs more than a miracle to win rest of matches in EPL. Chelsea will be facing some strong clubs at the end of season while it has been wasting so many chances to get full points from weak clubs.

If chelsea will not able to win EPL and we will not see chelsea play in the UCL next season. That will be very bad for chelsea.

It is possible of course, but it is not very likely after they have now had some reasons to celebrate and their mood is also improved. I rather believe that they are now looking forward trying to get the best out of the season that they still possibly can. Now that it's too late for the Premier League title anyway and they are also not part of the FA Cup anymore, it is all about the Champions League and the race to catch up in the Premier League. Nobody expects them to be successful and make it into the top 6 from here, but playing good soccer in the next round of the Champions League and getting some good results in the league could entail a peaceful for ending this season for everyone.

 No matter how they celebrate after there victory over Dortmund that doesn't mean they are going to stay strong and win games like they're expected to, IMO Chelsea are still going to find it hard to even win this week against a struggling Leicester. I just hope Potter gets it right both in sub and on the field to gather all 3 point.

I also thought, some of the down fall of a team are caused by coaches. I am still wondering what caused the drastic down fall of Chelsea. Chelsea of those days was very good team. But Chelsea of this days is struggling to win or equalize in a game. Chelsea winning this game is not a guarantee for them to win their next matches. Potter needs to do well in the next Matches so that Chelsea name can be bounced back. The substitution is not or does not happened on the field but it was a planned arrangement before the match. Whether good or bad Chelsea have to celebrate their victory at the moment before they face the next match.

I think people need to wake up because Liverpool are not better because they beat Manchester United. They are still 1 of the worst teams in the top of the table and they should not be qualifying for the Champions League next season. Bournemouth played against a full strength Arsenal team and challenged them scoring 2 goals against them. If  Arsenal can concede 2 against them then Liverpool will probably concede more and if they rest players they could lose by a big margin.

Strange logic, if they scored to Arsenal, then they will score more to Liverpool... It contradicts the statement that all teams are different and their approach is also different. If Arsenal had mistakes in their game, which led to this result, it does not mean that Liverpool will have the same situation. And just because they're not at the top of the table doesn't mean they're extremely weak this season either.

I think the previous bitter experience will be a turning point for Liverpool for the rest of the season.  I mean they will focus on their target to get into the top 4. Yes you don't seem to like Liverpool too much but look at what Liverpool has shown lately they are able to make many surprises in the matches they have played.  I think Liverpool will have a strong chance to shift the ranking of the team above it.

Every team wants to win and play well. So we cannot pre-declare any team as champion.  Because anything can happen in football. Sometimes even a weak team plays well and sometimes even a good team is not able to play well. But in terms of the only predictions we can make about a team, Liverpool seems to me to be the most likely team. So it can be assumed that they can occupy the 3rd position

Tottenham and Manchester City have better chances than Liverpool after their first leg results. Liverpool lost big at home and they will not easily beat Real Madrid at Bernabeu with two goal difference or more. A little bit lucky for Liverpool is in this season, rule of home-away goal is no longer applied. If that rule is still active, Liverpool must beat Real Madrid with more than two goal difference which is an impossible task for them.

It's impossible to predict how that game will play out, but Liverpool played well against Manchester United. If they can repeat it against Real Madrid, I'm confident they'll advance to the next round, and Real Madrid will struggle to reach the quarterfinals. We'll keep an eye on things and see how the game plays out soon.

Their victory over Manchester United last week made me have bigger hopes of returning with Liverpool in the Champions League. 3 goals or more will not be easy, but nothing is impossible in football. Realistically I can still see them doing it even if it's harder, even 2 times as hard. But I hope that the same incident as when they beat Manchester United can happen again in this match. Hopefully so.

Chelsea moving upward in the English Premiership league table is possible considering their recent performance the blues has not been in good form in their previous matches before their recent two matches that ended in their favour, the blues has to be more aggressive in their attack in other to achieve their goals in the club so that the good records of the team will not diminish.

We all know Liverpool performance have been really poor this season, they have been really inconsistent this season, but the most surprising part is that Liverpool is moving to top of the table even with their poor performance. Currently Liverpool is in 5th position with 42 points, must people don't really believe Liverpool will be in top five. Tottenham which is in fourth position is leading Liverpool with just three points, am sure that's Liverpool next target and am sure they will do everything possible to get there, I was suprised the way Liverpool disgraced Manchester united in there last match.

Tottenham normally would have no problems for beating Nottingham at home but given that they are playing a difficult game against Milan exactly tonight in the Champions League which they are having difficulties to score,if they score though and end the game 1-0 they go to extra time which is extra burden physically for the players and this can be a determining factor in the game against Nottingham.

I also agree that Tottenham should not underestimate these type of games against much weaker teams and leave points in the games against them as this way they would be giving away their fight for a spot in top 4 and not many games remain to the end of this season.
