but if Manchester United can beat Tottenham also in the upcoming matches then they will return to 3rd place and Manchester United should be motivated from Newcastle because Tottenham's performance recently has been inconsistent.

After watching this horrendous match for Tottenham I don't give them any chance to finish the season in top four. That performance especially in the first 20 minutes of the match was terrible I mean.

I'm curious as to how Newcastle was able to overcome Tottenham by that many goals today. I find it amusing that Newcastle defeated Tottenham by scoring six goals while Tottenham only managed one. When powerful teams play against inferior teams and score a lot of goals, I am not always surprised. Newcastle United is showing really good performance and I think this club is going to slowly become a destination for many young players who want to make a name for themselves and get recognized by the world. I mean they just beat Tottenham with a huge scoreline. That does not often happen. Tottenham is not a team that is easy to beat. But Newcastle United made it look so easy. I was also surprised when I saw the score. I thought what was happening, and is it actually happening?

With not many remaining matches, this task is difficult for Liverpool but they only can try as it is best they can do. To me, Liverpool's remaining matches are not that difficult matches for them to win. Even the so-called Tottenham and Aston Villa matches will be a win for Liverpool. Just look at how Tottenham lost to Newcastle with 6 goals to 1 today.

It was indeed a great day and an amazing win for Newcastle. Newcastle sure didn’t waste any time and began pressing hard from the referees whistle signaling the kick off. The pressure paid off and Newcastle got an early goal. I think the early goals may have given a lot of morale boost to the Newcastle players and also helped in destabilizing whatever plans and tactics Tottenham had planned.

Kane, having scored the only goal for Tottenham couldn’t do much to help his team as they conceded goal after goal. I sure didn’t expect the results as It was a bit shocking to see Tottenham lose woefully to Newcastle.
Newcastle was obviously the better team in the game and the scoreline proves that. A great win to also help in securing a spot for the champions league next season.

The played really well but the other side played better. What amazes me is the rate at which the low rated clubs are beating the well established clubs, though Newcastle this season is superb. Conceding at the early minutes of the first half was what turned the game in favour of Newcastle. The last four games for Tottenham haven't been a rosy one. I don't think they can be able to qualify for the Champions League compition if they loose more games after this one .How can Tottenham Hotspur withstand & bypass their current predicament?

Congratulations to Manchester United, it was not an easy match against Brighton a very stubborn team who are fearless and not going to back down even against the big team.

It was pretty much a dull game with both team acting very cautiously but in the end Manchester United won by penalty shootout now setting up a Manchester derby, I have strong feelings that city would win this one.
