Today game ending was a bit of surprised as nobody expected Liverpool to score this amount of goals in the game against Leeds United. This version of Liverpool that played tonight is the Liverpool that we have known that usually competes for the premier league title with Manchester city but they were no where to be found this season as they have been very awfully.

I sure didn’t expect Liverpool to score the amount of goals they did. I had believed in them for a win over Leeds but not with a margin like that. They exceeded my expectations and that’s good. If only they could continue to play with spirit and vigor as they did with Leeds, they could probably finish the season amongst the top six.
Unfortunately, they isn’t much hope of finishing amongst the top four and qualifying for the Champions League next season. In preparation for next season, they had better start formulating new strategies and tactics that would enable them play better and consistent football.

I was also surprised about the outcome of the game because Liverpool has not been impressive this season. But it seems Klopp has filled the vacuum left by Mane in the Liverpool attack. The sharpness of the team's attack made any mistake by Leed's defense very costly. With just eight matches to the end of the season and ten points to get to the top four, Liverpool has a very slim chance of qualifying for the champions league. Although they have to play only two top clubs which are Tottenham and West Ham before the end of the season they need to win all their games and hope other clubs ahead of them fail to win. The bottom line is that the destiny of Liverpool to make it to the top four lies in their hands and the performance of other clubs.

If Liverpool play better and the teams ahead of them keep maintaining their points Liverpool will not be able to achieve what they plan to achieve. Liverpool already if this game is the game they intend to show that they they are better is already late because the season has almost ended and right all the teams are trying to maintain their position to the end of the season. Mo Salah may not be in the club next season, so I presume that he is playing currently for personal record and not club record.

That's what happened in the EPL, teams that have a close point gap can find it quite difficult to maintain their ranking because every match in the EPL is quite difficult to predict even though their opponents are ranked at the bottom of the standings. It's a pretty tight league and full of competition in ranking after ranking.

Now for Liverpool it is difficult for them to reach the top 4 because other teams are stronger than them this season and this is a strong reference that Liverpool will close the season outside the top 4.

Next season in ucl we will not see chelsea because they are playing quite badly this season. I want to see manchester united in the ucl next season and it looks like this will be a big reality.

Leeds's defensive line worked well in the first half of the game because Liverpool couldn't score many goals but in the second half of the game Leeds's defensive line couldn't make the Liverpool forwards stop scoring goals however I believe the defensive line is not guilty of this result and they had to perform better in the midfield to make Liverpool stop getting closer, It's not just about a few players abut whole teams were not performing well.

The big win by Liverpool today is a proof how inconsistent they are this season. In some matches they can play like a superior team but in some other matches they play like a mediocre team which lose some points in matches where they should be able to gain full points. The win does not change their position in the standing but at least they can keep the gap to Brentford. Talking about their chance for European competition next season, it is really hard for them as they will also be relying on other teams. Even if they can win all the remaining matches, but if other teams such as Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Brighton are also not losing too many points then Liverpool has no chance to be in European competition next season.

For a fleeting moment, I had thought Leeds when they scored a goal in the second half, might stage a comeback and hold Liverpool to a draw or perhaps even win the game.
Liverpool responded swiftly to their goal with another goal of theirs. More goals followed after that and Leeds ended up losing and losing big. They were destroyed in the second half of the game as they couldn’t seem to muster up their defense fast enough to stop the goals from pouring in.

The chances of qualifying for the champions league is pretty slim. They would have to strive to win all their games while hoping for losses from other teams that’s ahead. They played good football in the game with Leeds.
Would we have a repeat of this performance in the next game with Nottingham Forest?

Liverpool are very dangerous with their tactics and their attacking players. In good days, their attacking players can score many goals as their style is very aggressively attacking opponents as much as they can. Therefore they can destroy their opponents within short time if opponents are careless and mentally weak. Biggest problem with Liverpool in this season is their defense and instability of their attacking players.

The chances of qualifying for the champions league is pretty slim. They would have to strive to win all their games while hoping for losses from other teams that’s ahead. They played good football in the game with Leeds.

Liverpool have nothing to lose as they mostly lost everything in this season. The only thing they can achieve in this season is a position in top four and a chance to play in Champions League next season. Their star players will not feel happy if they will have to play in Europa League and wait, even Europa League is far with their current position. They must try their best to aim at a fifth or sixth position to be qualified for Europa League. For a higher position, they can hope but should not hope too high as it is unrealistic at the moment.

I have been disappointed by Liverpool so often this season. Every time I thought they are now up for the turnaround, they again screwed it up. But if they now lose points against Nottingham, I doubt you can even help them at all anymore. This is the final chance to qualify for the Europa League and even that will be difficult since Brighton ha a game less and could make it 5 points. Liverpool's goal difference is still quite ok due to their goal festivals against United and now against Leeds.They can still catch Tottenham and Newcastle is now playing against Tottenham. The best outcome for Liverpool would probably be a draw between the two teams. Newcastle has another game against Arsenal as well, but the problem is that Liverpool won't win it all.

It's caused by leeds being a weak team. Leeds is as bad as nottingham forest. Liverpool has been dominating the match since the first half. As you can see that how liverpool was not giving a chance for leeds to make a lot of shots on target.
It's likely that the result against leeds will be triggering a positive trend for liverpool. Leeds was just getting 26% ball possessions. The gap is too big. Leeds can't even handle any attacks that were coming from liverpool. I would not be surprised to see the result. It's caused by Liverpool has been favored in this match. leeds was an easy team to be beaten by liverpool. As you can see from the statistic below if liverpool dominated everything.

Liverpool is a high scoring side with good finishers so I expected a lot of goals from them. Leeds United have been very poor this season. They conceded 5 against Crystal palace in their last game. And Liverpool are trying to gather all available points at the moment because they’re far behind. The result has kept their momentum alive for a place in Europe next season, whether that be the Europa League or the Conference League. Nottingham forest will travel to Anfield, a dreaded place to play Liverpool. Liverpool can still replicate this performance and score a lot of goals there too.

Liverpool beat Leeds United 6-1 in their last match at "Elland Road" Stadium against Leeds United. Liverpool took the lead through C. Gakpo in the opening 35 minutes and Salah added another goal before the break. Later in the first half, no team was able to score any more goals.

Liverpool is one of few clubs who have unstable performance, sometime they're humiliating other club, but sometime they're shamefully lost against a weak club. Liverpool still have a big chance to able reach top 5 position because they only have difference 6 points behind Tottenham and they have a big points on goal difference.
