It was quite unbelievable to see Fulham managing to steal 3 points away from the hands of Leicester City as Fulham have one of the worst defending record in the English Premier League at the moment, I guess the battle between teams fighting for survival in the relegation zone will become more intense this season as even Arsenal are starting to get closer to the relegation zone if they keep on losing more games.
Fluham's win against Leicester was really great. Leicester played very well. But fate did not help them. I watched the full match. The ball was in Leicester's possession most of the time in the match. But they could not make any good attack. It can be said that their strikers completely failed in this match.

I was certain that Leicester would win this game, but alot of the shots missed the box by a bit... Leicester scored a late goal too bad they showed up a bit too late... To me it seemed like they were off, not very concentrated. I mean you dont usually go down to a team thats in the bottom region of the table. Oh well, on to the next game

Oh well, on to the next game The win for Fulham IMO was pure luck against a top team like Leicester, if it wasn't for Fuchs mistake in giving such a lousy tackle this match could have ended in a draw. Also they won't really have the "worst defending" record in the league right now since it would easily reflect in the league table where right now Leicester is seating at the 4th place. If we are talking about the worst record you must look at teams in the bottom of the record where they have negative GDs.

Fulham had and still has the negative Goal Differential. I mean they have only 11 Goals in their name and two of them came agaist Leicester. That loss yesterday hurt, they could have jumped higher in standings. Oh well, every team has "off" days sometimes. Happens.

The English league is indeed very competitive compared to other top European leagues ranging from the German, Italian to French leagues, this is evident when Leicester City, who is at the top or in 4th position, have to surrender to Fulham who is in the bottom position or 17th position. Many bookies had to lose the opportunity last night when they predicted Leicester City would win easily against Fulham but in reality they had to be defeated 1-2 at the hands of Fulham.

Im pretty sure the bookies cleaned up on that game. I saw the odds rise and I took Leicester, live, as I for sure thought they would win. But oh my was I wrong. Im pretty sure People had Leicester as a safe bet to make a bit of money and also had Leicester in their parlays. I lost a bit of money but made it back on Football. That just shows, its just a match of 11 men on each side and surprises can and will always happen.

This season is very tight in all the european leagues actually but the English table is looking like the most tight from top to bottom almost. 11 points separate #1 to #16,,, 2 or 3 games can change the positions drastically. In German league 14 points Spanish leage 14 points, Italian 15 points, French 14 points.

Yes, that's right, this is makes EPL even more interesting And last but not least, we cannot choose the big name of the team as an option when placing a bet. Because, the team's performance is still not completely consistent except for Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea, which is so far they are unbeaten from the last 5 matches in EPL.
What's wrong with Everton and Ancelotti? They were quite fantastic in the first 5 matches of the EPL, but this time, they seemed to lose the spirit of the game, 3 points from 5 matches, even they also lost to Leeds that i think if Everton could beat them.

I was not surprised after watching Liverpool wining Leicester 3:0 without 6 first team players, after that game I lost all hope on Leicester city winning any important game this season, thus Leicester are also going through injuries situation with some of their important first team player like Ndidi and others. Fulham is going back to relegation no doubt already have my bet on. We shouldn't pick Fulham for relegation now, there are a lot of matches to be played, clubs like Crystal palace, Brighton, Fulham, West Brom, Burnsley and Sheffield United will all fight relegation battle, Leicester always disappoint their fans when you expect them to play well they will fumble, I believed the absence of their workaholic midfielder Wilfred Ndidi as you rightly said been felt by the team except they buy quality players in January else they will continue to struggle in the league.

Thats actually a big gap in Premier League. There are alot of teams that are showing decent results so far and some unexpected results in the upcoming weeks might happen again so the closer it is the better This season is much better than last season. Liverpool dominated the whole league last season right from the start but this season has alot of those teams that are showing potential such as Southampton and West Ham right now. Making all those big names such as Manchester United , city and Arsenal at the lower position( I was going to say Everton because they were on top of the league for some time but nah their recent performances are pretty bad ) What's wrong with Everton and Ancelotti? They were quite fantastic in the first 5 matches of the EPL, but this time, they seemed to lose the spirit of the game, 3 points from 5 matches, even they also lost to Leeds that i think if Everton could beat them.
There isnt much improvement on how they play so the other team would probably have figured it out by now . I was expecting them to win against Leeds though because last week, Everton was struggling against Fulham so they should be doing better against Leeds but it turns out to be a the opposite

Yeah I like to see the table this season. It’s even better if you are a fan of one of the EPL’s team. Because you will get a surprise every week with the ranks. (And the match results ofc). no fans at the stadium, ofc it makes EPL become less entertaining. However the competitive side of this season brings hope to all fans of all teams. It makes EPL won’t loss their audiences. Somehow I think EPL was setted to be like this, to make EPL less boring due to pandemic effects.

La Liga is very tight as well, fourth is real Madrid and from fourth to 18th spot (literally relegation spot) only 7 points, so with 3 wins the 18th place that suppose to go down can go to over 4th place (given everyone else has to lose which is impossible mathematically). Or Serie A where second with 18 points and 15th with 10 points, only less than 3 game difference once again as well.
Bundesliga looks like it is a bit different than others, more point differences between places. There are tons of leagues with close races, one of the main reasons for this is the simple fact that there hasn't been that many games, lets play 10 more games and you will see huge differences, the second reason is probably fatigue caused by a lot of games back to back for a lot of months due to covid.

This tournament will not be easy for those teams who refused to buy some new players for the premier league 2020. Manchester city will definitely win this champion 2020 with the strategies the new coach is applying in the team which is really helping them to win some of their matches in the tournament. Manchester city will win this match to become the champion of the year 2020.
Winning the EPL is not directly proportional to buying several new players; Clubs are supposed to invest in players for squad depth and to ensure proper rotation and rest for players. The season 2020/2021 is unpredictable totally; with teams suffering heavy losses here and there; it is not certain who the winner would be. The next run of matches would definitely proof a point of which teams are in the title race.

At the moment, there's no clear winner yet for this season's title with Liverpool and Mancity failing to reach their previous performance level, that means the title is up for grabs by anybody this season. However, the table would start taking shape towards the end of the first half of the season - probably before the boxing day fixture. Just like I said in the beginning of this thread and season, my money is still on Liverpool winning the PL title with Man Utd, Chelsea and Tottenham trailing behind.

though Brighton has the home advantage but Liverpool not winning the match was very disappointing and if they manage to win the match they ought to be leading the table by points now.
I agree with you. It was very unfortunate that Liverpool missed the chance to lead the table because they only got a draw against Brighton yesterday. I know that Brighton was playing at home but it should be not a big reason for Liverpool to lose 3 points. Liverpool has a much better squad, and at that time they have no problem with player composition, they have Salah-Firmino-Jota in the attacking line. But maybe the problem was Brighton played very defensive.

Did not watch the match and was a little surprised to see the result of the match, Liverpool was a little different from last season, several defeats and also draws in all competitions no longer showed that they were superior this season. Week 11 big match between Tottenham vs Arsenal because playing at home Tottenham's chances are huge to win, or there will be unexpected result again.

Boxing day become most active layer where they have playing more than two match just one week and make club how to begin with good performance, I think many clubs get problem on boxing day and bring to next match. I think have bigger opportunity for Tottenham Hotspur as the champions because they not have many match exactly on champion league and I think they will focus with primer league only and uerope league is not destination for Jose Mourinho.

You totally get the gist; the inconsistence; injures to teams has brought about dwindle results; and i do believe that by December we should have few teams who are clear and on the way to title challenge; Tottenham would be facing top guns in the league in the next few games and that will test their resolve. Man Utd would face west ham, before facing city; while Chelsea would look to build on their draw while they play leeds this weekend

December is too early to tell, at least I think so. Hypothetically, a team could have a 10 point advantage before entering the end of December/beginning of January festive period and at that point could get COVID in the team. It could spread to 10 players, making them unavailable for 5+ games in a short period of time.
I really hope we won't be seeing situations like these, because even now this season is borderline legitimate.
I think we won't get a clear picture of who's in the title race before the spring - because even a 10-point gap at the top doesn't represent the same advantage as before.
