It's amazing to me that Man City aren't at the top-3 of the standings!

Manchester City is not able to perform as expected this season. They are not winning against any big team this season. In the last 5 seasons, I have not seen such a bad performance of them. They have enough talented players in their squad. Even after that, they are not getting the expected results. Pep Guardiola will have to change their match strategy, otherwise, he will have to take on a more experienced striker for his forward.

Chelsea would be lucky to come out of this game with a point.

No, they got no point today. 1 penalty make Chelsea got no point in this match, it is very unlucky for them. I think Chelsea fans will be very disappointed with this result. How can Chelsea get 72% ball possession but ended with no goals? Their strikers look like play not effectively. Even Everton can make the shot on the target better although they cannot win the ball possession. However, I think Everton win today mostly luck factor.

One of those unlucky game for the blues they had the game under control, hit the woodwork twice and had some clear goal chances but couldn't convert them, Giroud was poor last night though Chelsea  lack cutting edge their 3 wingers were injured.

this is being a kind of strange game, the two teams are attacking with caution, City already had some good opportunities while the manchester dominated the game in the first minutes.

It's depressing to see Sheffield not able to get the points they deserve from games but the Premier League is ruthless. Wilder from the beginning that he needed a proper striker to score goals and they have failed address the issue. Last year they had a strong defense that also helped in scoring goals but this season they lost Henderson in goal and things gone downhill from there if they like to get out of the bottom of the table they need to start winning games and a game like Southampton is needed to take their chances and score goals and shut goals out at the other end but there is no evidence so far so I have to back Southampton for the win.

It was a boring match and didn't have the feeling of a derby match, truly none of the squad showed full commitment in winning the game. I thought manchester city had it all to win but their sloppy play cause them 2 points. United have been performing badly of recent and their demotion to the europa league is evidence of that.

Chelsea on the other hand play brilliantly but they were just unlucky as they hit the posts in multiple accounts. They have been on an amazing run before they lost yesterday but hopefully they'll bounce back and maybe compete for the title.

Sheffield surely is one of the weaker team on the league. They have been coming to and relegating down from the premier league. It was the Saudi money that bought them the league for last couple of years and it's no wonder if they relegate. It would be an easy win for Southampton.

Sheffield performance this season is questionable. I can't believe they finished the last season in top 10 then this season they failed to win a single game so far. Even now vs Southampton they are behind with 1 goal in the first half... That's unfortunate..

@QueenVera as I had posted earlier Pep was keen to avoid an defeat in this fixture, and accordingly he instructed his team not to attack much, otherwise he knew that Manchester United could hurt them on the counter attack. Also we all know that Ole didn’t want a defeat either so he was happy to earn that point, but yea Manchester United player’s could have played better and sealed those three vital points.

Top 10 is not their target anymore, if we are seeing from current conditions of Sheffield, finish one level over relegation zone is good for them. 6 points behind Fulham still possible for them, but of course with some terms. Arsenal also hard to going to top 5 or even to qualified in UEL.

Yeah, a lot seemed to have changed in there game style between now and last season. Last season was a Sheffield team that got most of the top teams shaking as most encounters was met with a team that was willing to win and as such, most of there games finished either in there favour or as a draw. Now, Sheffield is just a different story and them not getting to win a game is just unbelievable. They are completely left out in the ups and downs of the EPL this season as they are just stock at the bottom. So bad.

Yesterday has been a very disappointing day for Chelsea, haven't lost a match that could have taken them to the top of the EPL table while they wait on the results from Crystal Palace Vs Tottenham today. I'm sure Mourinho has got some tricks to stay top with this game.
