2. It was Burnley's first win at Arsenal in 49 years

What really went wrong with Arteta's initially promising tactics when he had just joined Arsenal?

For obvious reasons it brings me happiness that Arsenal as a team are struggling; and to be honest i do not feel any pity for Arteta or the board, i only feel bad for their supporters; how does Arteta command respect in the dressing room after leaving out OZIL from the team with ridiculous excuses? Arsenal lost today again and are clearly in the relegations with misfiring forwards and 0 creativity; just cross the ball and hope for the best team lol.

Anytime you wonder what is wrong with Arsenal; remember that Arsenal let go of Ramsey, Wilshere, Ozil without replacements lol.

Liverpool aren't at their best at the moment. Drawing against both Brighton and today, Fulham proved that. Pairing Henderson and fabinho clearly didn't cut it for us as we were left exposed at the back most of the time. I expected our game against Fulham to be an easy win but it turned out differently. Just glad we came out with a point. Salah nearly missed that spot kick against Real Madrid's Areola.

Can Arsenal get worse than this after today's loss? Any hope for redemption this season for the gunners? Arsenal is just 5 points away from the drop zone.

You would expect more from them especially at home against a mediocre team like Burnley.
Making them snatch 3 points to get out of bottom 3.
Football critics now should be now turning their heads towards Arteta as he is not getting the results he is expected to deliver

Hahahaha, very funny way for you to put it, describing Burnley as a mediocre team. A mean, last season, Burnley was terrifying to me, I could neither place a win or against them bet for me. They were very challenging and they often dragged there games to a draw. I still carry that feeling about them and as such, them having this kind of result against a team you can't say if it's really a top team isn't that surprising.
It's just so bad that Arsenal has been in the game for this long and haven't really earned a place to be title contenders. I guess this is why critics haven't really faced off with Arteta. When it comes to Arsenal, its just a matter of doing enough to stay in business. A sad one for the fans who are expecting a lot though.

Arsenal is heading for the drop zone soon. When I saw them walked out of the tunnel earlier this evening, I thought today's result will be different but it was nowhere near good. Mancity doesn't look like they would be competing for the title, even Liverpool too. Right now, it's uncertain which team is the favorite to win it unlike last season where Liverpool already determined their fate long before the season ended.

Lots of shocking results this weekend indeed. Started off with a quiet Manchester derby, then Chelsea lost and today, Liverpool and Tottenham drew.

Personally I felt bad as an arsenal fan, It has never been as worst as it now even in the era Arsene Wenger things had never gone from bad to worst, it high time Arteta  benched some of  indisciplined players to reset their brains, if arsenal cannot defeat a relegation team then what is their chances of defeating a top or mid-table team?  how will they defeat in-form Southampton next weekend? the board should take a drastic decision now before that team becomes subject of ridicule.

I think i have to disagree on this, Arsenal has failed to win in the league in almost 5 matches, with arsenal putting up a lackluster performance in each games, so definitely the supporters were expecting a better performance, not a win. Only teams that create chances can truly score, and Aesnela has created just 13 big chances in 12 games, i.e one big goal scoring chance per match. The relegation battle will be interesting this season

This season Arsenal's game is getting worse and Arsenal's 0-1 defeat at home thanks to a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang own goal and this has made Arsenal's appearance worse this season, and netizens have come insistently because Arsenal are getting worse.
Arsenal have always lost their last four home games in the Premier League and in succession, I think Arteta must really be able to bring Arsenal back to life.

Someone said this because Arteta did not include Ozil in the 2020-2021 squad, but I myself don't understand whether Ozil's presence will greatly affect the results and if Arteta changes his mind is it possible to added Ozil in the list of squad at the middle of the season? I don't know it allows for changing up player's squad at the middle of the season.

The Henderson-Fabinho partnership was not by choice, we simply do not have any other options at the moment. Matip felt something with his back and had to go off during the half time, but since we started playing really good in the 2nd half and didn't give any chances to Fulham, I'd really like to hear when were Henderson and Fabinho exposed?

I agree it doesn't sound great as a centre-back partnership going forward but both were brilliant in defence throughout the 2nd half yesterday.

I think Liverpool was the biggest surprise of the week in the Premier League.However nothing changed in the standings as both Chelsea,Tottenham and Manchester City didn’t manage to win in their respective games.It looks like this year Liverpool will not be going a lot of points further and it is going to be an open Premier League till the end of it.

A few things:

• Usually, when new managers are in charge, players tend to perform better in order to impress their manager.
• Arteta changed his tactics from parking the bus and counterattacks to position and full-on attacking styles while lacking the creativity department and that exposes our defense easily.
• Auba got the contract he wanted and now isn't putting enough effort.
• He's inexperienced when it comes to dealing with players of different generations and backgrounds.

By dropping the right players ^{[Auba, Bellerín, Holding, Willian and etc...]} and replacing them with more of our UEL players that happen to be a lot younger than these clowns.

They always wait till it's too late to sign a good replacement like Allegri.

is it possible to added Ozil in the list of squad at the middle of the season?

Based on Arteta's comment, looks like they could recall players in January.

December has always been the toughest month when betting on Premier League: too many games in a short amount of time. For LFC Spurs I would go for an under 2,5 goals while I could agree with the other results.

Do not forget that ManU and Man City still lacks 1 more game comparing to others, there is also Villa + 2 other teams that still lacks at least 1 more game. So basically winning 3 points for Manchester's teams could make them jump to ~5th or 6th position.
Tuesday - Thursday matches are quite hard to predict for most teams, Wolves - Chelsea, Liverpool - Spurs, +/- Arsenal - Southampton and Leicester - Everton... Seems we will see more surprises!

Maybe it was a bad idea to replace Unai Emery with Mikel Arteta to be in charge of Arsenal, when Unai Emery was in charge of the team, at least Arsenal are still able to compete with other teams for a spot on the table in order to qualify for the Uefa Europa League. With Mikel Arteta in charge at the moment, Arsenal are starting to struggle for points in order to stay above the relegation zone. This year we have too many surprising results in this Premier League and many teams trying hard for finding some space but some are really going down miserably like Sheffield United Burnley was very good in last season but currently struggling very badly and team like Arsenal is also have nothing to cheer as they are breaking some records.
