The last time this happened was Sir Alex still the manager at Man United and Mancini at Man City. Imagine how long has that been. I think it was also the time Tevez switched team from red to blue.


Liverpool will open up the match with guns blazing while Burnley will be parking the bus. Frustrating the home team as they try to catch up to the two teams from Manchester isn't a bad strategy. LFC needs an early goal.

Liverpool is struggling to find their rhythm like recent seasons. I think losing Van Dijk has really damaged their chances to win the title. We will soon see if this is a temporary loss of form or something more serious.

Among the 4 big teams that are currently at the top of the standings, the one that has bad performance is Liverpool. In the last 4 matches, they couldn't even win, and I think Liverpool's bad performance is caused by injury problems, so Klopp's strategy cannot be executed optimally.

Just because of VVD and Gomez they are in very bad shape they are badly missing them and its main reason for their poor form in recent matches but hopefully from today they will start some better and have good positive results now they are at 4 which is very poor but still we have half of season mean plenty of matches and changes still possible.

It would be a shame if Liverpool couldn't get the full point today. It seems that this is an easy match for Liverpool because Burnley will be the last team above the relegation zone. Liverpool will be playing with the feeling that if they lose they will be in trouble... apparently the oddmakers are giving liverpool a big advantage for this game that even I don't know in which market I can bet on that game. I thought about over 2.5 but there were a lot of games with teams that were not very strong where liverpool scored just 1 goal and won the game. I don't really dominate the corner market so I won't bet on that market. maybe if I wait 15 minutes of the game there may be some good opportunity for me to place a bet

2.5+ goals do not look that bad, but if you are not sure about anything, just go with money line and that's it. Liverpool will probably win this game, the returns are not great, the odds are at 1.22 or so last I checked, so I get that you may not want to play it, but think of it as "free money" because in a sense it is. Is there a chance Liverpool could lose this game? Of course there is, we are talking about football here and anyone can lose to anyone, but we are also dealing with Liverpool as well, even though they had a bad stretch recently, they are definitely good enough to dominate against Burnley very easily.

Other options would be 2.5+ goals is about 1.97 if I am not wrong and that is kind of a good one 1.5 would be about 1.31 which doesn't look like worths it honestly, so long story short I would suggest you to either do 2.5+ goals for Liverpool or go with just Liverpool.

I don't know how 'logical' a bet that's going to be, Liverpool haven't won in a while, so I see them being really hungry and could score 3 goals or more in this game, Burnley themselves could grab one as well.

As I've said, Liverpool struggle to score. They didn't even find a goal in last 3 Premier League matches.
Burnley lost games but they only conceded 1 goal each in recent matches. This shows how the bet is logical. It doesn't mean the bet will %100 come but favored odds are for over 2.5 goals, if you bet for under you will get a good odd. It might worth the risk you take.

Origi looked like he was playing alone and missed a lot of opportunities. he had a great opportunity to score goal instead of passing to mane and let who knows to score with precision, he preferred to waste the opportunity. this defeat was sad

First half end without any serious action now in second half we need some better things from Liverpool because they are better team they need to win this match.

Its simple if you think about it. Burnley is on 17th which means the team is far below Liverpool's overall squad and few days ago Liverpool was having an all out match against Manchester United so some players would need to be rested for today. To be honest , I dont think that he wont be playing today considering that Liverpool hasnt scored in the first half so most likely Klopp is going to play him on 2nd half

Liverpool coach Klopp wanted to rest some players today because they have tight schedule and important match with Manchester United in FA cup in just few days, but that resulted in possibly first lost match at their stadium in ages with executed penalty for Burnley.
They are surely in downtrend with only one win from last six matches in all competitions, and this is very important points for Burnley to escape relegation zone.

Relegation battling teams are always a threat to any team, they will play with all their strength to avoid a drop.
Liverpool should have known from onset that resting one or two key players like Salah might boomerang and lead to a defeat and course that is what happened to them against Burnley, their hope of retaining the title is dashing off weekly and painfully their 68 and 4 years unbeaten home records was broken by an underdog they indeed had a bad game.

It is a final result and Liverpool lost that match with a late penalty from Burnley. Liverpool shocked by late Barnes penalty

The substitutions with Salah and Firmino did not help Liverpool to score an equaliser. The effectiveness of their forwards and strikers are in troubles recent matches. They shot a lot but did not score hence Klopp need to fix it and help them scoring goals again or their midfielders have to have more distant shots.

The defeat of Liverpool means opened chances for Tottenham, Leicester City, Aston Villa, Everton. The last 2 teams have 2 and 3 unplayed matches.

Jürgen Klopp underestimated the Burnley team by backing up 2 good Liverpool players. The kicking odds of 1.24 last night can lose. I'm one of those who bet feel disappointed with this team LOL. 4 consecutive matches do not give a win
