I am a Chelsea fan, but to be sincere I'm not really convinced with the way my team have been playing from pre-season. I'm not seeing Chelsea in the title race, even making the top 4 will be a big deal for us this season because we barely create chances when we play. So let just sit back and watch how the season goes.

Seeing the disappointing performances shown by Chelsea, I think Chelsea still have to improve their squad before the 2022 summer transfer window closes.
Tuchel clearly needs three new players from three different positions namely centre-back, midfielder and centre-forward who seem to be a weak point for Chelsea at the moment. Chelsea need a centre-back, midfielder and a striker who can score goals regularly.

It is reported that Ronaldo is now threatened from his position after Man United made an offer to Antony, the Ajax player and is not half-hearted with a fairly large offer according to rumors of 80 million pounds.
Maybe Ronaldo will leave before the transfer window closes September 1, but indeed if Antony comes to Man United it will be Erik Ten Hag's main squad for his front line.

In my estimation, one of the biggest mistakes Ronaldo made was in leaving Real Madrid for Juventus. And worst still, Juventus for  Manchester United. At least if he had stayed in Real Madrid, he would have won some titles. Or better still, if he had stay in Juventus, that would have still been ok because they manage to stay in the top 4 of the league and play champions league every year. But can you just imagine that Rockstar Cristiano Ronaldo at 37 is still amazing is begging with the club's to buy to play in the champions league. He seems stuck with Manchester United. I sometimes wonder if he ever have regrets about choosing Man United.

When we talk about "mistakes" that players make when it comes to transfer decisions, often times we don't have all background information available and also not to forget the personal desires or dreams of a player. If you were Ronaldo and dreamt of playing in Italy once in your lifetime, why would it be a mistake to leave Real Madrid? Ronaldo had enough money anyway and the fans of Juventus Turin loved him, at least in the beginning. You are open to make a new experience in a country you perhaps like. I can't see why that is by some supposed to be a mistake? If you look at things in a more differentiated way there might of course be pros and cons and it is also about preferences. Some players prefer to spend their whole career at one club, and some players would love to become a top scorer in all the European top leagues.

If you look at things the way you do, did Ibrahimovic make mistakes year after year over the course of his entire career? To me he seems to be happy with his decisions. I think he never won the Champions League and yet he seems to be satisfied with what he achieved as a soccer player and I must confer with his sentiment. If Liverpool wins the CL this season and Bayern doesn't, did Mané make a mistake? I wouldn't say so.

Now with Manchester United I think that Ronaldo is indeed stuck. I get his point that he doesn't want to play in the Europa League, but if he comes across the way he just recently did, even a player with his history will have problems to find a big new club who has a chance to win the CL.

Clubs like Chelsea have being on a downward trend since the management crisis started during the Russian invasion of Ukraine and that has pushed the former club owner to sell the club, so since then the performance of the club has not been the same as previous years back. This performance if not improved on will lead the club to a potential relegation zone.

Whilst i think Chelsea can definitely play better and that their performances do not match the lofty standards they have set in England, i think you are exaggerating things here to insinuate that Chelsea could potentially be in a relegation battle, if you are truly a football fan who follows the EPL and the CL as well as other football tournaments, you'd know that what you just said is impossible.

Having said that, Chelsea definitely have to improve so they could either challenge for the title or earn themselves a slot in the champions league next season, anything short of that would be a failed season, except of course if they can make up for it by winning the champions league itself this season. Imo, i think Chelsea are over their ownership problems, they have a new owner now, he has invested heavily into the club, so it should all be good now, and the players have to start doing well when they step out on the pitch to play.

Right now off the field many activities are on for Chelsea strength because right now performance is not good and coach Tuchel is also not happy he wants some more strength most chances we will have few good news before end of this transfer window because Auba is already linked and few more signings are under process, but they are not announces until they reach on any agreement with relative clubs and players.

If Chelsea is going to play like this then surely they are going to lose chance for staying at top because in this season we have tough competition from many clubs even few are already down, but they also can fight back, and we will watch one of the best season in English Premier League because now quality is improved and teams are doing good job for staying into good shape until end of this season.

I think this year is really hard for all teams. Everyone expected Liverpool at top and they are at the bottom so a lot of surprises are happening this season. But i think if the title race is close Chelsea will have a chance at the title they still have a good team this season

It will actually be even more difficult when expecting Chelsea to win the title because indeed for the last few seasons they have always struggled in that regard, on the other hand now they are at the beginning of the season experiencing several problems such as a major overhaul of the players and the ranks of the top brass there which made this happen. becomes even more difficult.

Hope ten Haag continues with Varane and Martinez which seems like an ideal pair for central defence. Casemiro will also add and make the defence strong. I think Casemiro's transfer will give United the support in mid and defence that they actually wanted. Fred and McTominay are decent but not the kind United actually needs right now.

You are right, but am very curious to know if Manchester United think Maguire is a good player, why not sell him and buy someone to cover varane and Martinez at the bench right now, because for me I think Maguire is a big problem, if anything happens to varane or Martinez via injuries then Maguire will comes in and is a problem again while not completely remove him. Yea casemiro is and upgrade to Fred and mctominany,he will bring balance to the defence.

Ronaldo has realized his mistake to rejoin Manchester United, he has tried to move to another club, but unfortunately no club has been interested in accepting his presence. Ronaldo chances of adding to his collection of titles are getting smaller, apart from his old age, the club he is currently defending is still having trouble competing with other big clubs. Just as I said earlier, Chelsea will need to work extra efforts to convince both fans and spectators of their readiness to rewrite their present predicament. From pre-seasonason to date Chelsea has been left behind by most clubs in their group, even though this season seems to be different from the previous year as most big clubs are struggling to gain step and fits on the table.

Agree with what you said because regardless of his condition he is still very good in terms of performance but his desire seems to be blocking him now even though if he is focused he can still be consistently at Manchester United for the game.

For retirement, it is true that the title of goat for him is still pinned but with ambition he is still too early for that.

It seems that the euphoria makes sense because with this victory at least Manchester United managed to get out of the bottom of the table, the next match against Southampton is likely to be the point where the euphoria will continue. If we look back to the 2021 season, we will get the big win that Manchester United won when they beat Southampton with a score of 9-0, with the revival of Manchester United who managed to beat Liverpool as the favorite team yesterday. Then of course, the morale of the players will slowly get better and more ready to play against Southampton, about Ronaldo and Maguire they can ignore that because even Manchester United themselves are ready to sell Ronaldo but unfortunately, so far no team is willing to buy him. A captain is a very crucial part of a squad, it must be a charismatic person, not a controversial one. Man United is better to change the captain to improve the trust and compactness among the players. I noticed a few players that deserve to consider being a captain: Ronaldo, De Gea, or Luke Shaw. I think these players are better than Maguire.

Agree. The combination of Varane-Martinez is quite solid and strong, they deserve to be the key players on the defensive line of Man United. It is time to change Maguire with another CB, Man United should be stronger without Maguire.

Casemiro will also add and make the defence strong. I think Casemiro's transfer will give United the support in mid and defence that they actually wanted.

Sure, Casemiro is a strong and experienced defensive midfielder. Man United really needs a player like him. Casemiro will strengthen Man United defense and midfield line, we can expect this since Casemiro has done a great performance in Real Madrid previously.

A captain is a very crucial part of a squad, it must be a charismatic person, not a controversial one. Man United is better to change the captain to improve the trust and compactness among the players. I noticed a few players that deserve to consider being a captain: Ronaldo, De Gea, or Luke Shaw. I think these players are better than Maguire.

You didn't really pick my best choice for a Manchester United captain although, I could go for Ronaldo with the fact that, I like the way he carries his country side Portugal and as a very passionate player, he could do the same for Manchester United except for the fact that, his mind haven't been with the club lately and it would be quite controversial to have him lead a team his not ready to be in.
De Gea just doesn't fit and am not the type that like Goalkeepers for a captian. Like, they are far back in the post and won't do so well in controlling the forwards when need be.
I was very okay with the way Bruno Fernández handled the team in there last game, he was out in all capacity and they won.

Wow, I wonder why the captain's armband was not taken away from him earlier, a very strange decision was to appoint a captain, but this is a matter of the team itself I think. It was Ten Hag's policy from the start when he coached Manchester United but the reason is not very clear, but for now when it happens then this is one of the wise decisions in my opinion because imposing Maguire with his condition who always plays under his performance is clear also detrimental for the club especially he is a captain who should provide high motivation but his role on the field is clearly the subject of ridicule.

Here's what I mean: either he forgot how to play (he forgot if he knows how to play) when he came to Manchester United, or he just doesn't want to do it, I don't know what else to call it. Chelsea experienced internal problems and it must be admitted that it affected Chelsea's performance in the previous season. Now slowly
Chelsea's problems begin to be resolved, anyway Todd Boehly as the new Chelsea leader, really supports Tuchel doing a major overhaul
in the Chelsea squad by providing a large budget to buy new players. Unfortunately Chelsea lost several times to compete with Barcelona

Chelsea are still struggling to get some of their coveted players. Especially for the striker position, Chelsea must succeed in signing Aubameyang
from Barcelona. Because Chelsea's big problem is they don't have a quality centre-forward, proven in 3 games in the Premier League,
Chelsea was only able to score 3 goals. That's not something a team as big as Chelsea can be proud of. So the arrival of Aubameyang will make
Chelsea's performance even better,  and I believe Chelsea still have a big enough chance to be able to compete to win the Premier League trophy

The most important thing now is that they have to improve their appearance first before talking about it all. As we can see they did not live up to expectations and had to swallow some bitter pills from their match. Just because of the bad start from the 3 matches played , it doesn't mean they are going to have a bad season ahead ... it's only the beginning and things could went 180 degree just like manchester united who surprisingly beat liverpool in their super worst of the first two matches heavy defeat.

Chelsea will have to play leicester next and liverpool going to play with bournemouth , both should winning it though to turn the situation around quickly.

No need to be in a hurry, the Premier League is still entering the 3rd match there are still 30+ matches left this means that there are still many points that can be collected
In the middle of the season will be the right point to evaluate each team which team is the most potential to compete. So far Arsenal and Manchester City are still dominating while Chelsea and Liverpool are not yet ascertained.
