Manchester United did it again, they got their second win at St. Mary's Stadium. Bruno Fernandes scored only one goal in this match in the 55th minute. The match was quite fierce even though Southampton looked more dominant. BTW, I was lucky enough today, placing a bet in the second half for Manchester United -5.

Manchester United made it back to winning streak with a 1-0 win over Southampton, thanks to Fernandes' superb finish in the 55th minute. It was incredible that there was only one goal in this match as both teams had several chances to score before Fernandes finally broke the deadlock with a cool volley from the edge of the box.

The win takes United up to sixth in the table ahead of their next game against Leicester on Thursday.

Winning two matches is not a win streak. They will have a win streak if they win a next match.

They had very hard match but Bruno Fernandez managed to score a goal to secure 3 points for United. This win is good to keep up their positive improvement and reduce pressure on Ten Hag.

This helps them to have more belief that Hag-ball is good and has potential for success. This brings Ronaldo more closely go the exit gate of Old Trafford. He wants to leave and now United have more reasons to let him out.

I missed the first half because the network at my place had just stabilized. Seeing some footage and statistics of the Man United vs Southampton game is quite good, at least Man United can control the game more than having to concede in the first half. Erik Ten Hag still believes in the same squad he used against Liverpool and proved to be a more focused and sharp game. A good goal, right? they are doing very well. Fernandes is starting to have a positive journey at Man United this time around.

Manchester United seems to be continuing what it did in last week's game. The duet of Varane and Martinez is suitable for Erik Ten Hag to maintain in the starting eleven.

Liverpool seems motivated by the results obtained by Manchester United. It had only been a few minutes, Luiz Diaz immediately scored with a header even though the referee had seen the VAR because it was indicated offside.

This is looking like what will be a bad weekend for Manchester City. I thought as much that it will a difficult weekend for the citizens. Apart from the early lead by Crystal Palace caused by John Stones early OG, the Citizens are into another mess caused by the coordination of Eze. If things becomes right as it used to be for Manchester City, they could have a win in the match. But if they have a more bad day and Crystal Palace has another goal, it will be all for them.

City isn't getting the comeback this time. Crystal palace is ready to hodl on to this 2 goals till the end of the second half. Liverpool lead is impressive. 5-0 in the first half is a good lead the second half will definitely be a fun filled half for liverpool as the enjoy their game with 3 points and 4 goal difference. I hope the game doesn't end in a 5-0 defeat. Chelsea is now playing 10 men game against Leicester 11. Leicester can use this to their advantage in the second half

I don't see City getting a come back in this game cause the Palace boys are not even playing like people that are winning but more of a people that needs more goals to add up their anticipated winning. This is too bad for City and am not sure even up to 5% of gamblers saw this coming based on how City almost lost to Newcastle only to end that game with a luck draw, no one would expect that City wouldn't bounce back so hard on Palace but right now the reverse is the case.

EPL is always full of wonders.

For now, I think United will focus more on winning points. they tried to score an extra goal but it looks like Southampton did have a pretty good game. it's not easy for United to score again, their efforts by Ronaldo and Casemiro to add to the advantage seem very difficult. in the second half, Southampton appeared more aggressive. they created more chances than in the first half.

The inclusion of Casemiro and Ronaldo has not fully provided a good show. It was Casemiro debut at Man United but Southampton had more aggressiveness and a strong defense. Even throughout the second half, there were not many attacks that Man United built into the Southampton defense. Finally, the score ended 0-1 for Man United, I believe this score has not fully satisfied the fans.

Southampton were the better team but because of lack of sharp attack and cutting edge they couldn't capitalize on their chances and were very unlucky, they deserve a draw, while Man Utd score the much needed goal to earn their three points, making it two wins in row, kudos to their back four Martinez who capped player of the match, Varane, Dalot and Malacia without Maguire the team is becoming stronger at the defence, however their big test comes next week when they play an in-form Arsenal that match will determine how well they have resursistated by Erik Ten Hag.

I agree that Ronaldo situation may not be great in United right now but isn't Casemiro coming something to make Ronaldo reconsider?

I get it, he wants to keep on improving his UCL record and even 3 goals this year would mean a lot, and he doesn't want to get paid a little because if the team he goes to sell 50 million euros worth of jersey alone, and he gets paid 10 million, he feels that is unfair, but the management is not like that, you pay that 10 million on the books right away even if the player gets instalments, you have to block that money off from the books as will be used, on the other hand the 50 million will not go in there all at once. This is why there is a bit of a problem.

We don't know since the ball possession are dominated by Manchester City, everything is possible since 45 minutes isn't a short time and another thing the match is played on Manchester City's home, it would be shame if they're lose against Crystal Palace. Indeed Liverpool is very impressive since they currently hold 5 goals, I think the end it will be 7-0 or 8-0 considering Salah haven't score a goal.

Maybe, but as you can see Ten Hag choose Bruno than Casemiro for the 2 matches with this one.

Arsenal will be playing against Fulham today,and they will look forward to repeating their form this season,making it four straight wins.They have been in an impressive form this season and no team will seem capable of removing them from this form.They have a really strong young squad who are determined to take the premier league by storm this season.Gabriel Jesus and Zinchenko have brought something dynamic to the team since they arrived at the club.
I know Fulham will prove so tough because they are also on an unbeaten run,but the gunners will defeat them.

in the last three matches fulham have only one win against brentford, the rest have only played with draws.
I wouldn't be surprised if Arteta's men won the match against Fulham today, when referring to the head to head match, Fulham couldn't break the dominance of the Gunners in their several meetings. arsenal are on fire, in their three games they have scored 9 goals, and this is a very good result at the start of the season.
if the gunners can win the game for the fourth time, they will secure a position in the standings board.

Man U had a hard time beating outsider Southampton again... I can't call this a convincing win looking at the statistics of shots on target... The game was about the same and Man U are still having problems in the team. Next will be interesting to see how Arsenal and Fulham and Chelsea vs Leicester play... Liverpool Will continue their goal bullish trend in the match as on returning from first half, Bournemouth had to score themselves to make the goals 6 in favour of Liverpool. The pressure is too high on Bournemouth. I wonder how they will survive this season. It is just like Bournemouth is the only club that didn't enter this season with good form. Who knows if we can see upto 8goals from Liverpool today.

Manchester United got full points this week although it was very hard to get them.
In other matches, Manchester City should be 2 goals behind Crystal Palace. It's beyond my expectation that this match will be more difficult than imagined. They even struggle to at least aim a shot on target.

After successfully beating Liverpool last week, Manchester United players still have high spirits within them. Manchester United players did not give up easily to find the winner against Southampton, although they showed a bit of a different game when they beat Liverpool, they managed to close the game with a win. The mentality of Manchester United players is slowly getting back on their feet after getting two wins in a row, now they can improve their rankings gradually. Ten Hag should be able to give Manchester United players more confidence next week, they should get more than one goal away from Leicester City.

They weren't precise as they should be I was predicting the final score to be one goals between themselves but Manchester United did better at defending. The combination of Lisandro Martinez and Rafael Varane winning Manchester United game's and I'm happy to see that.
That goal was helpful, helped Manchester increased them confidence and pressure unlike how they displayed in first half. Manchester United attacking line looked fatigued in the early hours and half, good cross from Diego Dalot to link up Bruno Fernandez goal.
United had one big chance but So ton goal keeper did good to make that save.

Good team work even if the game wasn't hundred percent for Manchester United good debut win for Casemiro.  There's really big room for improvement, Rashford ? That nigga was off!

All three have been renewed, Liverpool are now on 6 goals, while Man City are getting closer and just 1 goal behind, and Chelsea are following with a 1-0 lead so far. If Man City lose, it will be their first loss since the EPL season started, and they maybe temporarily eliminated from fourth in the table.

Liverpool performed satisfactorily after in the last two matches only getting a draw and losing 1-2 from Man United some time ago.
