Too bad Erling Haaland missed a penalty in the 37th minute. Dan's shot went too wide and hit the right post, and a penalty was awarded if John Egan's hand touched the ball.
And
Sheffield United played very well especially in defense, and Manchester City usually could score in the first half but against Sheffield United they couldn't score in the first half, and only got a penalty but missed. And in the second half Manchester City certainly scored, especially Erling Haaland to make up for the missed penalty kick.

Erling Haaland came to the English Premier League last season, was scoring goals for fun and breaking records and very few persons paid attention to the fact that he's foot work rate is very poor when compared to other big strikers. He is a sharp finisher no doubt but when he's not getting the passes to convert from his teammates, he lacks the ability to fall deep, collect the and dribble past one or two players and that makes him and incomplete striker.
He made just 6 touches in the first half of this game and missed a penalty as well. That's a poor first half performance from big player like Haaland

Man United have just won a tough 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford. I don't understand why you guys say, 'Man United are playing well.' It would be best if you watched their early season games. They lost 2 goals to Tottenham while being more appreciated, and now, at home, they suddenly let Nottingham lead by 2 goals after only 4 minutes of rolling the ball. Their beginnings were terrible. But it is essential to know how to overcome it. It was not easy and commendable for the whole team.

This is the beauty of football because there is a struggle that is visible and must be seen by every spectator or fan of a team itself. And in this case I also will not equate the strengths possessed by Tottenham with the strengths possessed by Nottingham Forest, especially for this season. The victory that Manchester United got at Old Trafford against Nottingham Forest was a victory over Manchester United's struggles so that deserves praise because the Manchester United team began to see improvements at the start of this season with their playing style.

Although Man Utd did start the match badly. In fact, I think the mistake at the back of Man United in the early minutes was really quite a fatal mistake that a big club like Man Utd should not have made. For the second goal in the 4th minute I think it was also the negligence of the Man Utd defense. Because the Nottingham players were really given comfort in heading the ball for the second goal.

But I appreciate the mentality of the Man United players who didn't fall down after trailing 2 goals in the early minutes of the match. And actually the fight was almost just a draw. But Man Utd was lucky enough to get a chance from a penalty kick. and B. Fernandes did well.

Well, this is unique and exciting football. The surprises and drama in every fight always make those of us who watch it almost jump from our seats. You will understand when our favorite club gets a good chance but fails to convert it into a goal. We must have unknowingly stood up from our seats.  

According to my own analysis, Man U didn't start the match poorly, only that they were caught unawares by Nottm Forest. The two goals by Nottm Forest still baffle me till now, they all happened within the 4th minute of the match, and that was too cheap. But truly, the defence of Man U at that time was very poor. Nottm Forest took advantage of that and was only aggressive and pushed much forward, but they lost in the tactic when Man U realised their aggression, and that was what changed the narrative till the game was over. And for Man U to spread their goals very well means that they are consistent, they were only careless in the beginning. But I wonder why they couldn't score more goals with the afterwards 10-man opponent.

The second half had started and Manchester City still had a greater level of possession of the ball, but there were still no goals scored. But I'm pretty sure that Manchester City will win today because Sheffield is not a very favored team this season because Sheffield is still a promoted team with a relatively unstable level of strength. Although the impact of difficulty scoring goals for Manchester City has begun to be seen when Kevin De Bruyne is not in the Manchester City squad.

Man City dominated the match versus Sheff United, ball possession touching 84%. But so far Man City has only scored one goal, Halaand made amends after failing to execute a penalty. Juan Manuel Lillo replaced the role of Pep Guardiola who was undergoing surgery, so far there have been no substitutions made by City. I think the 1-0 score will last until the end of the match, because the chances of a draw are very small.

On the other hand, at the same time, Aston Villa played against Burnley with a temporary score of 3-1 for Aston Villa victory. In terms of possession, Burnley is slightly more dominant, I predict the score will not change until time runs out.

I think Manchester City managed to score only one goal because of Haaland's poor performance. Anyways, I didn't watch the first half of this game , went out all day and just return back home to meet some guys watching the match and I decided to join them, I can't comment on how the play have been so far, but I think the just scored goal is an incredible one, I wasn't even expecting Sheffield to score any goal at all, I was actually expecting Manchester city to win this match by 2 goals to nothing , just few minutes left to the end of the match and Sheffield have equalized the goals, I foresee a draw ..

Newcastle United vs Liverpool This match is going to be held at Newcastle United's home ground. After trailing by 1 goal, Sheffield United changed their strategy. They were bolder in attacking and it turned out that these efforts paid off in the 85th minute. But it didn't take long for Man City to come back to lead 2-1 because, in the 88th minute, Rodri managed to score the second goal for Man City.

The match has been interesting so far and City would definitely win the game though i expected them to  win with ease against Sheffield one thing about the Premier league is that it's quite difficult to predict the outcome of matches most times and one might even think Sheffield would not get a goal against Manchester City but they did and it won't come as a surprise if they get an equaliser making it 2-2.
 Just like yesterday during the match against Manchester vs Forest i felt Manchester had lost the game when Forest scored two early goals in the 1st half but suprisenly united had a comeback and won the match, in EPL it's not over until the final whistle and that's one thing i love about the league, smaller teams fight back and even look dominant against top teams sometimes like the match between Arsenal vs Fulham yesterday for instance.

Always expect the very best from elite clubs, that's basically how they operate in league games. This is EPL, all these ball possession doesn't matter, what matters is scoring goals. Sheffield United were defensive throughout the game, enough pressure from City made them conceded two goals. It was a brilliant performance displayed by Manchester City, they were not relenting and put in 100% of their energy in the game. Manchester city won Sheffield United 1-2. It was terrific game to watch with the citizens full dominance and there's always chances for goal scoring opportunities.

In this match, I have placed a bet in support of Liverpool team, hoping Liverpool team will win. If Liverpool team wins, I can win the bet.

Aston villa have built a good squad this season and they are a team hungry for success. They scored 3 goals with a good game against Burnley and got 3 points. They seem to have recovered quickly from their heavy defeat against Newcastle in the first week.
Manchester City, on the other hand, won 2-1 in a one goal game. It was a game in which they could have scored more goals because it is interesting to note that City actually scored 2 goals in a game in which they played a solitary goal, considering the percentage of possession and the number of shots they took throughout the match. For a team with an 80 percent possession percentage and 30 shots, 2 goals is even less.

Of course ball possession doesn't translate immediately into goals, but when it is one of those days that the ball simply doesn't cross the line, a team is still better off with having the ball most of the time. I am sure that if this game against Sheffield was repeated 100 times, Manchester City would beat them 80% of the time with at least two goals advantage. Yes the result is what counts, but it would still be very misleading to call this game a close game because it wasn't. When teams park the bus in front of their goal and the attacking team can't score early, we know how these games sometimes play out.

The real shocker in this game was the equalizer only minutes before the final whistle, but this time Manchester City was able to respond immediately.

Haaland can only score goals if there is a play maker like Kevin DeBruyne who can provide assist, Grealish made the assist for the goal he scored if Kevin DeBruyne is played more goals would have been scored by Haaland it's now obvious that Man City would struggle in his absence if Sheff Utd could held on with the champions till 88th before Man City scored the winner then it's say alot about how formidable the team would look like till Kevin DeBruyne is back, Foden who played the role of Kevin DeBruyne hasn't been effective in that role, however it's like almost all the top teams are struggling with form this season.

Correctly said , Manchester city almost lost this one, and by this, I understand the reason for the unimpressive win which you said in the begining of your comment..
And going by that, I will just say that , a win is a win , whether impressive or unimpressive, what matters is that, the team wins at the end of the day just as you have stated..

Honestly , I wouldn't have felt bad the way I felt and still feel for Arsenal if they had managed to win their yesterday's game against Fullham the same way Manchester city won against Sheffield today.

City fully owned the game. Sheffield can do nothing against it. The chemistry of manchester city is quite good, but it lacks of good attacking midfielder who can replace de bruyne. I don't care so much about the chemistry as long as city was winning the game. The bettors need city to win. It doesn't matter how this club would be playing on. City is now making the gap to the arsenal. It seems to me if city is likely to dominate this season. There will be no club who can stop manchester city.
No bruyne and no problem. Rodrid performed better in the second half compared with the first half. The goal from sheffield makes me feel shocked but rodri helps city to get three points.

It took only three rounds for City to become the sole leaders of the Premier League. They have 4 more games ahead of them against the underdogs and it looks like we will see a streak of 7 wins. Despite the fact that the opponents will most likely (99.999%) lose points, we have another season in which interest is lost already in the first third (if we are talking about the fight for the title).
