The season has only just started, and the new players need time to adapt and work together. And maybe that's the problem! Chelsea should focus on attacking football. It's acceptable to play defensively against teams like City, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Newcastle, but not against West Ham. Chelsea lost their momentum in the match. They weren't getting the runs behind the right-back and centre-back, which made it too easy for West Ham. Anyway, see will see upcoming matches for Chelsea if there any improvement.

In the end a lot of people would say that Chelsea haven't really changed. Chelsea were somewhat convincing when they held Liverpool to a draw last week, but in fact their performance worsened when they were humiliated by West Ham 3-1. I'll admit Chelsea's performance was so poor, even Pochettino lost his mind to change his plans in a game that failed completely.

Moises Caicedo got the chance to play in that match, but unfortunately he made a mistake in his debut match which led to West Ham's 3rd goal. Moises Caicedo played well with Brighton last season, but he didn't perform well with Chelsea yesterday.

Hopefully Thiago Silva and his friends can help Chelsea achieve their first win in the EPL, so that Pochettino is out of pressure.

I think it was a big mistake for Chelsea to appoint Mauricio Pochettino to lead the team. In the past, the teams Mauricio Pochettino lead did not perform extremely well too under his guidance. After spending so much money in the transfer market, it was quite a disaster performance by Chelsea as they could not even force a draw upon West Ham United despite playing with a man advantage for almost 25 minutes left in the game. I guess maybe Chelsea could start to consider looking for another new manager if Mauricio Pochettino are unable to lead the team into great heights with so many star players in the team.

So you now define people with the past they had. It isn't bad to look backwards to learn from how Pochetino did with Tottenham and also with league one Champions Psg. But he should be given time, he has from now to the end of the year to prove himself to the club. At his appointment as head coach I never wanted him even if  I wasn't a fan of Chelsea. But Pochetino should not be defined by his past if he makes the right choices he will excel in the Premier League this time around. One thing you should know also is that they won't give him too much time to prove himself like they did last season with Potter. I know he is not the right coach for Chelsea still he will be sacked.

Yeah, I think we have read this news in some other thread this evening and people were saying that the decision for Greenwood not to play for Manchester United anymore might be a good one for Greenwood because of nedia scrutiny and some kind of misbehaviour from staff and fans. But why reading the news about this, I learnt that the girl that made his career to be in this form is still in a relationship with Greenwood. I want to understand if this is true.

Yes they are in a relationship and also have a child together, the news doesn’t add up but according to the court Greenwood is innocent as the charges was dropped. But one thing is clear United are just wary of the threats by some staffs and fans to stage a protest and that is why they believe it is best the boy goes out to another club.

But to my understanding I don’t like the decision the board made, if you are certain he is innocent they you as the family that boy has known in football since his childhood days should be the first to protect and bring him back. All this shenanigans are just because of the Gen Z feminists chants and nothing more. The likes of Giggs, Cantona and even Ronaldo have had a bad time like this and Ferguson and board then stood with them and they ended up having a stellar career.

Truly the news does not add up. There are many things behind the scene⁶ and I believe so and that is the reason why United fans and staff are wary of the return of Greenwood. Do you know what it would have been nice if Greenwood appeared in the court and at the end of the day the law set him free. That will make everyone know that he isn't guilty of the charges against him. The girl and family coming up to drop the charges without being treated in law court would mean some other things in the mind of many people. Maybe the were sympathetic of how the young guy's careeer will suddenly end and decided to tamper justice with mercy. I believe that is the reason it was difficult for Mason Greenwood to reunite with Manchester United. If truly the girl is living with him and they have one kid I think she should be regretting by now.

Actually I also think that Arsenal will try to get 3 points to get closer to the top of the standings but based on what the gambling market has to offer I'm a little dubious, the market predicts Arsenal will only win by one goal difference there is even a possibility that the two teams will draw. Indeed, sometimes market predictions can trap us but on the other hand they better understand the situation of each team. you are right The team has lost points in two consecutive matches. A draw with Liverpool and a 3-1 defeat against West Ham. Chelsea will play at home against Luton in the next match. Luton is relatively weak. Coach Pochettino will be under pressure if Chelsea fails to get 3 points in this match as well.

Chelsea may not win. But we must admit that their match strategy was not bad, if we compare with last season. But Chelsea's defense is weak. And Chelsea's poor defense we saw in the pre-season matches as well. Chelsea management should have bought the experienced defender. And trying to tighten up the defense. But they don't do it. I would say if Chelsea only tighten up their defense their performance will stabilize and be able to play well against the bigger teams.

on matchday 1, crystal palace managed to win 1-0 over sheff utd while arsenal managed to win 2-1 over Nottm Forest even though from the head to head history the two arsenal teams appeared superior but this match should not be underestimated by arsenal, things beyond predictions often occur. the lineup has appeared and as usual arteta uses a 4-3-3 formation, nothing has changed with arsenal's front line, nketiah is as usual in the center striker position, for the bet i will take, i will definitely choose arsenal, the odds are good.

I doubt this claim,and don't think Pochetino will be sacked soon.Pochetino is a former Totthenham coach,and through out his time at Spur,despite the fact that he didn't win anything tangible,he still always qualify for top four,or not below 5th position.If people don't see him as a good coach,I see him as one Because i believe in his abilities,and know that he will definitely take Chelsea to greater heights.If you take a look at how they play this season,you will see that they are playing good football,all its needed is time for the players to blend together.
But if Chelsea wants this man to do well,they should give him time,just as Arsenal board believed in Arteta and gave him time to execute his plans and pattern of play.

The official line-up has been revealed, and Arsenal's defensive line is not impressive due to Timber’s injury. I was expecting four defenders to stop Crystal Palace’s attacks, but nevertheless, the manager knows why he made the line-up like this.

Statistically, Arsenal stand a chance to win this match even as they are playing away from home because, according to the results of their last five matches played together, they won three, drew just one, and Palace won one as well. Arsenal are suppose to get more than 2 goals in that encounter but they just felt relax whenever they're leading and that's why they can't be like Manchester City or even be better than City.
Take a look at Newcastle, 2 goals ain't enough, they just keep going and going till is the final whistle and when you look at the score board you'll see 5-0 or 5-1, all I'm saying is that Arsenal don't take advantage of the opportunities given to them.
In tonight's game, I don't see Palace sleeping and waiting for the Arsenal team to come take all three points, they're going to be even tougher than the Nottingham Forest except Arteta is coming with something different to win the game like a comfortable win not 2-1 but 3-4 nil or maybe 1-3 would do.

Pochettino has been under pressure after failing in his last two games against Liverpool and West Ham. Chelsea was only able to get 1 point from these two matches which in fact has disappointed many parties. Considering Chelsea have spent a large budget to build their squad, they shouldn't look as weak as when they beat West Ham. Obviously it wasn't the performance I was really hoping for, for me it was really bad.

Pochettino needs the right time and strategy to be able to bring Chelsea to an impressive performance. They didn't show that in the last game although they were quite convincing against Liverpool. The next match won't be as hard as it should be, but Chelsea may fail to get maximum points if Loton Town plays defensively.

There is no two ways about this. Arsenal is going to have a very good season just like they did last season. In fact the squad that played the matches for Arsenal last season is still the squad that is present in Arsenal this season. The only difference we have is the positive difference which is addition of more quality players to the squad. The reason why Arsenal did not win the English Premier League title last season was because of poor squad depth, this time around that they have some kind of good reserve, we are expecting them to do even better than last season.

After the impressive last season now things looking on same way for the Arsenal because they are doing good job even their first match performance was not as par expectations but still they can do much better in this derby match, and we can expect another win form them in this match now their squad's chemistry is also much better than last season, and they have few good players which can do much better for them with now still chances they will keep things at the top for the title race.

Arteta is one of the best person in business after Pepe, so I have feeling he will be organized his team on aggressive approach, and they will not let him down again in this season but still today match is surely important for them because this will give better shape.

Of course, the next match against Luton Town will be a serious challenge for coach Pochettino. At the time of the match against West ham, Chelsea was completely beyond everyone's predictions. Newcastle deserve praise. Newcastle have been very well managed for a year and have improved their game a lot. Last week, when they started the season by scoring 5 against Aston Villa and considering City's deficiencies, I was almost sure City would lose points. Pep has worked his magic again. Akanji here and there for example. They didn't let Newcastle play. Kovacic seems to have settled in. Gvardiol needs to play a bit more. With such a winning habit, Man City are the favorites for the title this season. No Kdb, no Ilkay, no Bernardo. Despite this, Man City's matches are going without a loss. But the game quality is not the same as before.

Chelsea's problems are obviously not going to change in one month. And signing new players won't get results without building the game itself and tactics, this was evident on the pitch...... Enzo, who costs 121 million, fails to score a penalty and Caicedo, who costs 116 million, soon earns a penalty for an opponent. What to give such a huge amount of money for? I don't get it. On the pitch these players don't look worth that money, and here they are also screwing up.....

Chelsea need time to show their quality in the Premier League because this season the average Chelsea player is a new player and also a new coach. So they need time to convince the fans that they will be able to get through this transitional period as well as possible.

Their failure against West Ham is regrettable because their opponent is believed to be easy to beat in this match. But the surprise happened because West ham was able to get full points and beat Chelsea which is inhabited by good quality star players.

They've had time to prepare before the season, haven't they? With the kind of result they finished last season with they should be training instead of summer holidays, because a new coach and a bunch of transfers won't help if you don't do anything apart from that. We'll see what happens next, but so far they've been very disappointing despite a good first game

Pochettino's glory days in the EPL were marked by Tottenham's second-place finish, while the EPL trophy was clinched by Leicester City. The match against chelsea had been also destroying totenham's dream to get its first EPL trophy.
It's too early to sack him as he is being trusted to rebuild the club. The management needs to give him till the middle of season to prove his quality as one of a good manager in the football.
Pochettino has a good history with PSG but EPL is far competitive compared with league 1. I can't deny that how he was facing difficulty in managing chelsea at this moment.
Chelsea really needs someone like mourinho.

Difference of leagues is surely had impact but here I want to say Pochettino deserve a chance until mid of the season because right now he is trying to adjust players and this is never been easy job while you are struggling now next week they are going to host Luton which is new in Premier League and most chances they will have their first win of this season as well.

Pochettino is good coach and his history in all leagues are also good, so he can change things in positive way, but this will surely take time but right now talking about new coach and more changes are surely going to have no positive change in team they are having good available sources and with this all first win can give them good boost for the rest of this season.

A decent start to the halfway point of the first half by Arsenal. Crystal Palace are sitting deep as expected and allowing the goonerz to have possession of the ball as they wait to hit on the counter with some long balls.

Declan Rice and Thoma Partey partnership looks to be the favoured pairing by Arteta and both players are beginning to get into a rhythm. It is a shame that Timber sustained that injury cause he was already proving to be a very important signing allowing Arsenal to play with an extra holding midfielder when they have the ball.

Crystal Palace have been in good spirits against Arsenal so far and they have also managed to put some pressure on Arsenal's defence. The two teams still played out a goalless draw, but Arsenal, who have a lot of quality in their players, are able to play better when building attacks and also defending.

This is a very interesting match because so far both teams have both performed well in attack and defense. It's possible that Crystal Palace will surprise by scoring first, but I don't expect Arsenal to lose. Arsenal need to control the tempo of the game and not make mistakes when Crystal Palace builds on the counter-attack, of course it has been very dangerous so far.
