You could say Liverpool is the King of comebacks in the English league, if in Laliga there is Real Madrid. Although this club is not as luxurious as Man City, Man United and Chelsea. But Liverpool has extraordinary fighting power, unyielding and Spartan mentality. Barcelona also had the same thing when dealing with this Spartan team.

Their mentality was top notch. They went for the win even when they were with just a man down. They have shown the never giving up mentality that Manchester United was known for some seasons ago. A commentator in on of the games I saw, said that when a team gets a red card and have to play with ten men, it either puts them under pressure to defend, or under pressure to attack with all they have got. For Liverpool, they simply were not ready to lose the game. Darwin Nunez who scored the goals for Liverpool deserves to be in the starting lineup for their next game.

It possible that if I did know beforehand I would have also bet on newcastle but because I know that this club is a club that has the same strength so I avoid betting on this match because I not want any surprises to happen.

Manchester City are the only team with 9 points in 3 games now. They have made a really solid start to the season and Haaland also continues as always. He missed a penalty against Sheffield United maybe but this was still not a hindrance for him to score a goal in the same game. A Manchester City supporter entered the pitch to celebrate the goal with him as well which was an interesting moment.  

As usual they are again the biggest title contender for the Premier League. I'm just wondering whether we would see a different team in top 4 again. Newcastle were an example for that in the previous season. They have had an unlucky fixture so far by the way. They got losses against Manchester City and Liverpool consecutively.

Newcastle is having a bit of a hard time and I think this loss against a Liverpool team that was only with 10 men for so long could really tear them down quite a bit. Tottenham is interesting because it was expected that they are much worse off without Harry Kane, but so far they did a goob job in not letting that have a negative impact on them.

But I would still say that Manchester City is far away from their best and De Bruyne is missing badly. But they have been more efficient than the others and that earns them the lead for now.

I agree with your opinion on Tottenham's situation absolutely. They are really doing much better than the expected for now. Honestly they weren't able to become successful in Kane's presence. He was showing an amazing performance but still they weren't able to win any titles. They even finished the previous season at the 8th position despite Kane's scoring 30 goals.

Therefore I thought that nothing would change even if they send Kane from the team this summer. For now they are even doing better but it isn't related to Kane of course. The team effort seems better which should have been like this a long time ago.

Well, some time ago we were presented with Chelsea's big match against Liverpool but indeed the absence of a winner made the match less exciting. I don't think that there will be another big game in early September and it will be between Arsenal and Manchester United. Maybe as hosts Arsenal their task is quite tough, especially since a draw against Fulham will be enough to make their mentality drop.

On the other hand, Manchester United seems quite confident because they managed to make a comeback last week against Nottingham. I think it's quite difficult for anyone to predict who will win this match and moreover this is still the first match for the big teams. What is certain is that I will still be Arsenal's favorite to win because after all, Manchester United often make unexpected mistakes.

I have to just agree with you that Newcastle were just caught off their grip after on the defense there, the two Liverpool goals came from a counter attack because the Newcastle defense was left unshielded by their midfield on all went in search of a goal. The attack also contributed to the loss by not converting their chances. If they should continue this way I don’t think we would see them back in the top 4 this season to be frank. They were hard done by themselves in that match and also by the brilliance of Darwin Nunez.

I also am in anticipation of the match between the gunners and the Red Devils. Arsenal are favourites to win this game because United hasn’t won a single game away to the top 9 clubs from last season. Do I see them getting away with this one, I doubt because they remain unbalanced in the team. Their injury woes and also lack of depth is affecting them. But there is a hope for them because notwithstanding that Arsenal have played so well this season they have find it hard to kill games off and individual errors has lead to the goals they have conceded. It is still early to decide the league but this match something that will shape that. Should Arsenal win they will be on high to take just anyone on and Also united will feel the same too

What a comeback by Liverpool! Today they played a game in which they weren't even shown as the favourite side to win. Bookmakers were believing that Newcastle were the closer side to make it. However Liverpool beat them away last season while Newcastle were having a wonderful season as well.

But of course after seeing that Newcastle got ahead first and Liverpool got a red card I didn't give Liverpool much chance. Even getting a draw was seeming difficult to me. But Liverpool didn't even make do with that. Nunez became the game changer in this game a short time after he entered really.

The Liverpool vs. Newcastle match was very difficult for me because I believed Newcastle United would win due to the way Newcastle took the match more seriously than Liverpool. Newcastle scored the first goal of the game in the first half, and Liverpool responded with two goals just before the match was about to end. This demonstrates that Liverpool doesn't want to fumble this season the way they did last season. Liverpool's performance last season was really awful, but thanks to Darwin Nunez's goal just before the game's conclusion, Liverpool will be able to laugh it off.

With the way Liverpool played yesterday, the middle position in their team did not hold up well. In my opinion, Liverpool still lacks a good midfield player, and that is what is affecting the team's performance. If Liverpool had a good and standard midfield player who can hold the position like the other midfield players who left the team, I believe their performance would not be as poor as it currently is. We are all aware that Liverpool is one of the top teams in the Premier League and has historically made opposing teams nervous to play them.

Before this round, City's title quotes were 1.73, but now they are 1.54. Crap. First of all, it's sad, like a spoiler at the very beginning of the movie, it's very annoying 
Secondly, I am angry with myself for having doubts and not betting on the odds that seemed incredibly profitable to me (all competitors are on the decline and the City is stable - what surprises can there be).

The media tried to establish a sort of competition/comparison between Haaland and Nunez last season, but sadly it didn't work out so well for them, and Haaland was in a world of his own, whilst Nunez had a first season to forget about. The worry for Nunez isn't about competing with Haaland per se or banging in goals like Kane who just left the EPL, Nunez has to work on himself, he has to convinve his manager that he is good enough to lead the line for Liverpool, right now he is not doing that and he still comes into games from the bench, even though he scored the two winning goals at the weekend, he is still yet to break into Liverpool's first team.

Newcastle devastated Liverpool throughout the game. Both of Liverpool's positions were goals. That's football. The team that gains a big advantage in the match can lose the match. yes, that was extraordinary proof for Nunez to answer Klopp's doubts about his performance. since the new season started Nunez never got a place to play longer than the start of the match. he was only a substitute player because Liverpool's attack line was indeed full of competition.
Klopp often uses Salah, Diaz, and Jota. or another option when facing Newcastle, Klopp put Gakpo in the center-forward position. I wonder if after this Klopp will trust Nunez more to play in the early minutes.
