Winning today's match was not easy for Liverpool players. Home team Wolves performed well in this match. This is why Liverpool's players failed to dominate the match. Liverpool took the lead in the last minute of the first half with KOnate's goal. However, Wolves equalized at the beginning of the second half. The second half was quite competitive and exciting. Wolves' players were able to make several strong attacks. But after going 2-1 up, Liverpool's players kept their defense tight. And because of this Wolves players can't score any more goals in this match. By winning this match, Liverpool have managed to occupy the top spot in the table. Liverpool is 1 point ahead of Manchester City.

Liverpool finally succeeded in taking advantage of the opportunity to seize the main position from Manchester City. Newcastle forced Manchester City to a 1-1 draw at St. James' Park, but this is not the end of it. Manchester City can still reclaim the main position in the standings as long as they don't lose in the next matches, of course by winning the match they can put pressure on Liverpool.

A low points gap like now is difficult for the top of the standings to maintain, of course because of pressure and so on. However, if Liverpool is consistent with their performance, then they can lead the standings for the next few weeks.

It was really good for Arsenal to win in a week when Manchester City lost points. We were a bit worried when the score was 2-2 after going 2-0 up, but the winning goal came in the last minute, followed by another one. Arsenal had so many shots that it was surprising that the winning goal came so late. This year I would like to point out the improved performance of Trossard and Martinelli, both of them have raised their game a level. Havertz also looks like he will have a better scoring season this year.
In the end Arsenal got the 3 points and closed the 2-point gap, now they are equal with City. Liverpool won again to take the lead for now, but I don't think they will stay there for long. Liverpool will play Chelsea and Arsenal back to back in October and will lose points here.

It looks like Manchester City still has a chance to win despite playing away and indeed, I also admit that Newcastle is not a weak team. Because after all, from the record of their head to head results also that even though Newcastle lost, but Newcastle did not lose with a big score because what happened was only losing by a difference of one goal or maybe two goals. Moreover, I personally also believe about Haaland that it will be difficult to make goals if there is no good supply or pass. So, it doesn't seem strange  if Haaland also didn't manage to score in this match despite the fact that Haaland's statistics in this match are also good. With this draw, Manchester City's  position was taken over by Liverpool, who also only won with a thin score of 1-2 against Wolves. Palmer is quite over power in this match, he took all the goals in front of his eyes, which is an interesting match from Chelsea I haven't seen a match like this from Chelsea, Brighton is quite authorized with Chelsea games like this.

Palmer is a player who is always surprising us in almost every match. We saw how he played well today. I never expected so many goals from him today, but to my greatest surprise, Palmer was able to score four goals in the match. The game was kind of easy for Chelsea, Brighton defense was so weak, which made it easy for Chelsea to penetrate. Chelsea had chances to score more goals in the match, but they were wasted. I was expecting a better performance from Brighton, but the match was just kind of easy for Chelsea.

Their defense is not very good that makes Brighton also still can replying to the goal, indeed this must be considered at Chelsea, but if Chelsea play with this aggressive way it will consistently make Chelsea rise up quickly

Chelsea's defense is not so strong this season, which I think Enzo should work on. Chelsea do concede goals unnecessarily, which doesn’t really make sense. If they continue like this, they will find it difficult to win some matches because if they concede early in some matches, their opponents will start playing defensive games, which they will find it difficult to score back. So Enzo should improve the team’s defense. The second goal scored was caused by Sanchez, I think he should just be careful and avoid errors like this.

3 points for Liverpool but we were far from great. Deserved the win as Wolves were awful but we need to be much better in future.

The win sends Liverpool top of the table, it’s very early though so we shouldn’t look into that too much.

Honestly is been long I saw Liverpool top the table and this is something the fans and even the coach should be happy about but this game against Wolves should be a game they should have won without wasting time or chances. The home team have not been up to speed in improving ther style of play, even when they started the game they look like a team that can stop Liverpool from scoring but after sometime they lost that force of pressing the Reds, so I feel Wolves are not ready this season, 6 games no win 1 draw and the rest we know about and you think they won't be struggling to avoid relegation? I even see them going to the championship.

Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke are good at the front then Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella and Malo Gusto are also doing well at the defense and Robert Sánchez the goalkeeper using all his means to protect the post.

Yeah the competition in the Premier League is getting fiercer and now we have 4 teams competing there Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea while Aston Villa might shift their position in the standings if they win tomorrow's match but I don't think Aston Villa is a threat. Indeed, we cannot conclude too quickly because the Premier League has only played 5-6 matches this means that there are still many possibilities that could occur but I am sure the 3 teams in the top 3 will compete with each other until the end of the season.

Tomorrow we still have another interesting match between Manchester United vs Tottenham, I don't see either of them as favorites to win and it might end in a draw or if luck favors one of them then we will see different results. I wouldn't pick either of them to win but I'm pretty sure both teams will score, yeah maybe you understand what i mean for betting options.

If not for that mistake they made that made them lose one match against Nottingham, they should be ahead of Manchester City by 4 points and not 1 but nevertheless, this achievement is a good one because they now lead but the more I look at this season, I feel like I'm seeing repeation of last season here again because Liverpool was topping the table last season, a time Arsenal came second and Manchester City were third but Manchester City came back and took the first place.

Chelsea is undergoing a new phase of transformation and I'm happy they are improving. They are now 4 games unbeatable, only lose to Manchester City. If they continue like this, I think even Arsenal might be left behind the race but the points here are too close, we need more weeks for validation on how serious these teams have really change and improve for good.

Chelsea is really rising from the darkness they experienced last season. The coach is really doing a great job with them. Their confidence is tho notch, coordination and maturity on the field of play is commendable.

I noticed the coach isn't much interested in possessing the ball, he plays defensive games and counter attacks. Brighton clearly dominated the possession, but Palmer's finishes were clinical.

Arsenal performed magic today, I wasn't expecting that scorelines. Manchester city needs a savior now, they can't continue playing and getting these results of they intend finishing top 4 in the league.

3 draws in the last four games is a bad sign for City (which I am happy about) and a good opportunity to bet on City to win against Slovan and Fulham (which is also good from a betting point of view). The result was expected, before the game I wrote that the odds of City to win this game 1.6 which the bookmakers gave is complete nonsense. I think all the statistics of the game confirm that City were grossly overrated.

I couldn't be happier with Manchester City's performance. Manchester City shared points with Arsenal. However, there is no doubt that we saw a very good performance from Manchester City players in the match against Arsenal. However, Manchester City could not get full points. Even against Inter Milan in the Champions League match, we did not see the expected performance from the City players. City should have done better.

However, none of us thought that City would fail to win against Newcastle in today's match. Newcastle's performance has been somewhat erratic. Also, Newcastle does not have a strong squad like City. So we expected City to win. But City's players could not do well against Newcastle's defenders. So the match was drawn 1-1.

Liverpool and Arsenal have a chance to take over the top of the points table. Looking forward to see if these two teams are able to capitalize on this opportunity.

City lost Rodri and KDB (do you remember how badly City played without KDB last season?) so it was naive to assume that the game would be easy. Plus note that City concede quite regularly, and Newcastle score at least one goal in every game (they haven't had a single game this season where they haven't scored a goal). A draw was highly anticipated today, any of the teams could have won simply "by chance" but it was more profitable to bet on Newcastle, 1.6 for City to win in such a situation is nonsense.

Is it about leading the table for the next few weeks that is so important? There is no prize for any club that stays on the table for weeks unless bragging to their fans and that is all. What is more important is to be on top of the table when the league concludes. And for four consecutive years, Manchester City has been the chosen club. Today's game between Manchester City and Newcastle is just something that Pep needs to sit back and correct that mistake. Manchester City couldn't have a good game in the midfield because of the absence of De Brune and Rodri.  I doubt that with these two players being out of the season or sustaining this injury for a very long time, Manchester City will find it difficult to take 3 points from their next game.

Today's match certainly implies many good moments for arsenal because they quickly led by two goals and leicester city was able to equalize but arsenal managed to take advantage of the last minutes of the match to score another goal. This match was really quite exciting because both teams played quite aggressively in attacking so it was not boring when we watched it.
Apart from that, arsenal's performance was better than manchester city in today's match because city lost the opportunity to secure the top ranking because they had to share 1 point with newcastle united.

But arsenal managed to get full points which made their pace very good to compete with manchester city again. Will this season Liverpool, arsenal and manchester city swop places in occupying the top ranking because their points are very close.

That was what I thought too when I read some of the posts here. Palmer had the day of his life and these things occur very sporadically.

They behaved quite amateurish when they conceded first goal. Their own first goal was lucky because the Brighton defender made a huge mistake. Chelsea's second goal was well played with a bit of luck, but ok, it was well played and correctly awarded with the penalty. Then Palmer scores a goal that he maybe scores once, maximum twice a season. Then another huge mistake made by the Chelsea goalkeeper and I think these individual mistakes are one of their biggest problem as they happen too often. Then last goal was well played again and Palmer proved that he can be a great finisher.

But it's still more an outlier than the rule what Chelsea has shown here and they should be able to handle these games more calmly and securely, but they could fall apart any moment if Palmer doesn't have a day like he had this time.

This isn't the summary for a team that is going to win the Premier League title, but I agree that they might be able to finish this season with a better rank and that has also to do with the other teams not being at their best.

Earlier this today, Chelsea convincingly defeated Brighton with a 4:2 scoreline with  Cole Palmer scoring all four goals including a stunning free kick with the goals,  the England international became the FIRST player in Premier League HISTORY to score four goals before half-time in a single match. Also, he joined the list of Chelsea players with most Premier League hat-tricks for Chelsea alongside legends of the club like Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard and Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink. The staggering thing about these whole records is that ihe was able to achieve all in 39 appearances for the club
Personally, I feel the England international isn't getting all the accolades and recognitions he deserves at the moment.

We are starting to witnessing another astonishing performance from said player, “Cole Palmer”. He did not just score all the four goals and helped Chelsea won their game but created a record by being the first-ever Premier League player to have scored 4 goals in the first half game, really incredible player when I watch him play in the football field. Today's game will actually help boost the Chelsea's team confidence going forward because victory is always motivating, this season is gradually becoming a bit better on the Chelsea's side, if we track back to Pochettinos era, hoping they will continue with this energy going forward.

The performance of Chelsea in this game today was great seeing how they could still asking questions to make sure they equalize the early goal scored by G. Rutter in the 7th minute before taking the lead in the 29th minute. Cole.Palmer started an impressive performance last season when he was scoring incredible goals for Chelsea despite their poor performance last season and seeing how improved and mature he is getting makes me believe that he still has a lot to show in the Chelsea team. The young English player has once again made history with his 4 goals today writing his name in among the legends of Chelsea who have achieved so much for the impact and history they made in the team. His got a lot to achieve under the Chelsea coach and the team will be motivated by this performance of them today.

It was cold outside today lol. Cole Palmer made history today as the first player in the Premier League to score four goals in the first half of a game. His free kick was beautiful, I watched the replay like four times already. Cole Palmer is on a different level. No wonder he’s being compared to Lamine Yamal. Kudos to Cole Palmer he was superb in every aspect of the game.

Chelsea had a great game today, nobody really so that coming. We all know Brighton had a great record this season, they haven't lost any game. Both Brighton and Chelsea were really poor defensively, but the Chelsea Attack was on fire. Big ups to Maresca and his boys.

Congratulation for Everton because finally they can able to gets their first winning in Premier league for this season today and when they conceded goal in early minutes i thought Everton will be unable to bounce back but they have been showing good fighting spirit and didn't panic and the result is Everton can able to overcomes Crystal Palace with final scores 2-1 and credit for Dwight McNeil because he was made a brace in this match even first goal from him was very magnificent because he did that from outside penalty box

We have been discuss about this before because if Everton failed to win today then most likely their manager Sean Dyche will be sacked but at least from this result his position is temporary will be safe and after this winning Everton position lifted to 15th place but for Crystal Palace this loses makes their position down to 17th place and Crystal Palace points is equal to Ipswich the team from relegation zone

A 2-1 win over Wolves and a draw in the Man City vs Newcastle match allowed Liverpool to reach the top of the current standings and it was quite beautiful after all this time they struggled to achieve it, the injuries suffered by Man City players made them not so optimal, but a draw is much better than losing, at least one point is quite good and does not damage their unbeaten streak, but how long for Liverpool to lead at the top, because their point difference is very thin, only 1 point only, one loss or draw match Arsenal or Man City will easily return to the top of the standings, but that's okay, maybe this will be the first time Liverpool with Arne Slot topped the standings.

The Blues will again be the team to watch in the English premier league, I like that and they are in the top 5 of the standings, Cole Palmer is everyone's favorite in this match.

It was a good game for Arsenal, they showed that they are ready to challenge for the title. The Gunners showed real character and also put on a fight. Although I think the two goals they conceded could have avoided, they should be more focused in the back. It's going to be a good season for Arteta and his boys.
