Many people are judging Arsenal from their previous performance last season; although we all know they made many mistakes for the last 2 seasons, I’m expecting them to be better this season. I think Arsenal will surprise us this season; they have improved this season; their performance is different from last season's performance; if they continue like this, they will definitely be at the top of the table. Manchester United are still suffering to be met up, so I'm not expecting them to go anywhere.

What I have noticed over the last few seasons Arsenal have always performed stunningly, it's just that it often happens towards the end of the season they always lose, and cannot maintain their position.

I don't know about the current season for Arsenal, if Arteta can achieve the trophy they want then it will be a great achievement for him.

I haven’t seen any difference in Arsenal performance, they have been playing this season the same way they played in previous seasons, so I am still expecting the same result they have been getting. I don’t think Arsenal can surprise us with anything this season, all they will end the season with will be either second or third position, but I don’t think Arsenal will be able to win the Premier League title this season, they will end up disappointing their fans towards the ending of the season, just the way they have been doing every season.

I don’t know, maybe I'm the only one that’s not seeing the difference. Arsenal are playing the same way they have been playing, and I can’t really see any significant difference in their performance. Let’s just see the way things go, but I'm not expecting anything from Arsenal.

Chelsea will host Nottingham Forest this week, they should also be able to follow the victory achieved by the 3 teams mentioned, Liverpool, Manchester City and also Arsenal. Their opponents are not that strong, so they should be able to take advantage of it very well by winning.
They are also in a positive trend at the moment, they can compete again at the top at least until the 6th week that has been played. This week they must be able to be consistent in maintaining the victory after victory that they achieved previously. Consistency is an important point that will be one of the factors whether they will win or not.

Yeah, we should give the win to Chelsea already considering how well they've been playing so far, and also the home advantage. But I won't write Nottingham forest off easily, because we all saw what they did to the current league leaders(Liverpool) at Anfield. Even if Chelsea are going to take all 3 points, I believe forest will pull up a good fight. And I hope Jackson won't choose to go on vacation in tomorrow's game, because we sometimes don't see him when he is needed the most.

it was not a difficult match for Arsenal, so this victory was predicted before the match took place. At first Arsenal had a hard time breaking through the defense built by Southampton and they had to be goalless in the first half. However, entering the second half, they changed their strategy a little and it paid off in the 58th minute, yes even though they were also surprised first by a goal that Southampton could create 3 minutes before they could reply. But they were able to respond quickly.
A very valuable victory for Arsenal to be able to compete with points without gaps.

After Southampton scored the opener, I think the previous incident of a draw at the Emirate must have flashed through the eyes of the arsenal players. But I really liked the way they had to make a quick statement, and it was a brilliant strike from havertz. At some point when the game was still goalless, I was thinking that ramsdale must have said enough to the Southampton team, which made the game complicated for the gunners at the begining as they failed to find the net. But Arteta wasn't ready to take that chance at all, which led him to making 3 quick sub, and the whole dynamics of game changed. Congrats to them.

Arteta has really changed the thinking of the Gunners this season after going head to head against PSG with a win (2-0) they didn't use the champions league game as an excuse of not performing well in today's game against Southampton. A team that caused Arsenal the chance of winning the league title 2 seasons ago, at least they started it by playing out a draw which started Arsenal's down fall.
But today's game was a little bit off color for Arsenal in the first half, where they played like a team that doesn't want all 3pt. In the second half Arsenal fired up and started pressing till they dominated the midfield of the visitors and made the defense to be open to penetrate.
Between Arsenal and City the team that's dropping their style of play at this very stage of the season, I'll say City are slowly dropping that force of dominating every single game in the EPL, they got lucky if not the game would have ended in a draw. I think things are some how not going well for City in that midfield, they need a replacement as soon as possible.

You're right, the match is really interesting and even I think the two have played quite impressively, Fulham in the last few matches have been able to appear quite impressive by giving quite fierce resistance to each of their opponents, and in today match their has tested the mentality of Manchester City
especially with the early goal from Pereira which made them quite surprised, but we know that all this time Manchester City has a tendency to bounce back after conceding and in the end the 3 points still belong to them in today match.
But despite their win today, we have seen so far that City defence can sometimes be a weak spot, and the chances that Adama Traore failed to capitalise on in the game showed that they still have gaps that can be exploited by opposing attackers,I think Guardiola at the moment has to improve their defence immediately because if not then we just have to wait for time to see them suffer their first defeat.

Now we can see that Rodri is indeed a player who has made a significant contribution to Man City's defense line. Man City have conceded 5 goals in 3 games since he was injured. Meanwhile, in the previous 4 matches, Man City only conceded 3 goals when Rodri was still playing. Rodri is a player with good defensive transition skills. When his team loses the possession, he will quickly put intense pressure on the opponent, so it will be quite disturbing for the opponent in doing a build-up.

Guardiola really has to find a solution to their defensive line as soon as possible because if at some point their front line faces a deadlock, then it could be their opponents who will find the net first, and worst of all it could be a defeat for them.

Manchester city team is very strong and they won this match by performing well enough, although every player was aggressive in manchester city team. But the opposite side is very weak in comparison they performed well, although Fulham lost but the goal difference was small.  So Manchester City has collected three points from this match to hold the second place in the points table, these two teams have given the audience a very competitive game in today's match.

It was not good for Manchester City to enter the 82nd minute with a risky score in the match they played at home because if City had not scored the 3rd goal in the last minutes of the match, anything could have happened. City's attacking line is doing its job but their defense is not doing exactly what they want. This is due to the fact that the attacking players contribute little to the defense. If the attacking players contribute little to the defense, they may have problems in big matches.

Guardiola has a plan to solve this and he will implement it because they need to win more comfortably at home. The team's defense is as important as its offense.

You sound like Manchester City and Liverpool are not planning on winning the league. Things are going differently in the Premier League. There is nothing like a small team now because almost all the teams are a threat when it comes to goal-scoring. Today, Southampton scored first against Arsenal and we saw Fulham scoring first against Manchester City.

Good, Liverpool is still at the top of the table but not for long. Their strength has reduced lately and no doubt if they face a stronger opponent it will be difficult for them to win.

There isn't really a "best" team yet, most teams look close to each other right now, it's too early to make these type of decisions. I believe the best way to handle what's going on is waiting a bit longer and see which team gets ahead of the pack.

At premier league that doesn't always happen too early, last year three teams fought until like last month or so, and then two teams finished closed in the end as well. We should probably just wait and see by the end and we can't decide which one is the best without seeing the very end result.

I get that some people may have some hopes about it but I do not think that we are going to get any result that would be all that unlikely, we are going to see them make very big changes. We should be considering how to get better results, and for this we need to keep betting as well. Big teams will rarely lose to smaller teams at premier league, not impossible but uncommon so keep betting on the top three to win the games.

I actually disagree a little bit with what you said, because in my opinion, we can say that so far Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool are the best teams with the best performance that we can see in the 7 games they have played, but in terms of consistency and the possibility of them winning the trophy of course it is still too early for us to judge.  Because the season has just started, just like last season the three teams are still competing fiercely and like you, I also think that there are still many things that can change as the season progresses, because of the fierce competition that always happens in the Premier League like the previous seasons.
If we talk about betting maybe what you say is true about picking a big team to be the favorite, but the final result of a football match is not an easy thing to predict, Because we also cannot deny that many factors that occur on the field actually make the result of the match will be beyond our expectations.

Not sure about such assumptions, '"about'' many expect Liverpool to win with a big score. Because anyway, basically Crystal Palace is not a completely weak team and also, Crystal Palace playing at home is certainly not an easy match for Liverpool to win. So, I'm sure no one is expecting  too high like about winning with big score, because just winning with a score of 2-0 or 1-0 is also enough for Liverpool to secure three points in this obviously not easy away match.

In addition, I wonder, what are the '"odds" you think for Liverpool in this match? because as far as I know the odds  for Liverpool are also not too low not like 1.20 and not 1.30. Because anyway, on a few different platforms the Liverpool odds are still very decent like 1.60 and also 1.50 and  on stake.com, I got it at 1.53 and that's not a bad odds at all.

I completely agree. At the moment, Liverpool is outperforming based on results, it is logical to assume that sooner or later there will be a return to the mean, so expecting a big away win, even against an outsider, is both naive and dangerous (if you bet on it). Also, soon (maybe already) bookmakers will overestimate Liverpool due to their current good results, so betting on them should be done very carefully.

Arsenal got a great win today with a 3-1 win over Southampton. From the beginning the Arsenal team attacked strongly and till the last minute they managed to win and most of the people bet on Arsenal today and they won. Although there were no goals between the two teams in the first half of the game, both teams attacked strongly in the first half, although Southampton scored early in the second half and later Arsenal attacked with three more goals to win the match. After winning today's match, the team is in the third position in the points table. Although Manchester City's points and Arsenal's points are equal, Liverpool are currently at the top of the points table.

Arsenal really try in the game, they show that they are really improving, and if they continue like this, they will have a chance to win the Premier League this season. When Southampton get the chance and score one goal, I think the game will probably end in a draw, but they didn't give up and they got the three points. Arteta does really well in both the Champions League and the league. With Manchester City's current form, I believe they will not have the opportunity to win the league this season because Fulham will put up a strong fight against them, and when the game ends 3-2, Manchester City will not have the same advantage as last season.

Liverpool is doing well, and I believe that if they continue in this manner, they will most likely win the Premier League. I am not yet satisfied with Arsenal's performance because they may begin to perform poorly after the season has ended, and we will see who the favorite is to win the title this time.If not Liverpool, he may be Arsenal, as it will be difficult for Guadiola to win this time. The seventh week of the Premier League there was no change in the standings, because the three top Premier League teams managed to get full points over their opponents. Liverpool who played first were able to get full points even though they won narrowly, as well as City who beat Fulham with a score of 3-2. Meanwhile, Arsenal, beat Southampton with a score of 3-1. So, there was no change in the points difference, it remained the same as last week. Next, next week will be a pretty exciting match, especially for Liverpool who will host Chelsea, while City and Arsenal will face teams that are not so strong. However, that does not mean Arsenal and City can win their matches easily, both teams still have to maintain consistency and appear with impressive performances. Likewise with Liverpool, even though they played their match at Anfield, Chelsea often made Liverpool have to work hard to win. Not infrequently, the match ended in a draw. The fatigue factor is always a problem now because after all, if you look at the condition of the schedule that some big clubs like Liverpool or Manchester City have this week, it is a little inconvenient to face their opponents due to the break that is not too long every week so that the players are very tired due to this. Only 2 days of pause time for them to rest in each match that is carried out will certainly make the pressure even harder because they are too compressed every week.

Yes, the competition at the top of the standings until week 7 is very tight. The points gap between the three teams is very low and this is very difficult to maintain. Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal clearly have the ambition to be at the top as long as possible while hoping their opponents slip up, but of course the competition will really be very tight.

Regarding Arsenal, they are good in terms of team performance, but they just lack a winning mentality. Arsenal still don't have the winning mentality they have shown in the last few seasons, so as long as Arteta can't make his team's mentality stronger, it will always be difficult for them to hope to win the title.

Everton match is rather very disappointing campaign, they were just busy playing without the aim of winning the match. Calvin lewin was seriously underperforming today. It was really a very boring match to watch and I knew from around 70 mins that the match was destined for a draw since they were not playing as if they wanted to score. Full time score, goal less

Manchester city came back from a goal down to win the match. They did well to grab the three points from their encounter. Fulham fought back but they were not able to get an equalizer in the match. Congratulations to Manchester city, full time score 3:2.

Liverpool is topping the league table but I don't really think they will last at the top, they have often found of losing points surprisingly just like we saw in the endings of last season and against Nottingham Forest this season. Still yer to me  Manchester City is main opposition, if any team

The three big teams won their matches today, now is up for Chelsea and Aston Villa to do theirs, though Aston Villa faces a much more difficult opposition which is Manchester United,  who maybe more dangerous tomorrow,  from the fact that Ten Hag is now facing pressure of being sack. Though Chelsea needs to be careful against Nottingham Forest especially after they shockingly defeated Liverpool this season.

It is very difficult to stop Manchester City's dominance in their efforts to defend the title, in fact Manchester City has defended it for 4 consecutive seasons. Arsenal gave Manchester City a lot of problems in the last few seasons, but in the end Arsenal was just a competitor who admitted defeat at the end of the season.

This season must be different, especially if Manchester City loses some of their matches. Arsenal and Liverpool must take advantage of every opportunity when Manchester City make mistakes and drop points, otherwise Manchester City will win their 5th title in 5 consecutive seasons.

Unfortunately that was the result of today's matches in the end league premier league. I will actually expecting that Manchester City would have an issue today. The have managed to escape some matches which were supposed to be losses for them. I think that this period is the right time for Manchester City to lose some points if they are not to be the champions of this season again. They are without KDB and also without Rodri and yet they are not losing matches and yet they are still not as outstanding as they used to be. I am yet to understand the people that are going to beat Manchester city after they managed to escape Arsenal. I am honestly no longer comfortable with the dominance of Manchester city. Things need to change to retain the prestigious status of the English Premier League.

Fulham are really pushing their luck against Manchester City and am not surprised knowing very well that these lads are terrible when it comes to defending, and lucky for them they managed to get a goal back after Fulham got an early goal through a Pereira goal in the 26th minute...if game reminded as is, City would have danced.
As things stand game is still locked in at 1-1 as we head to half time and City seems to have found theirs spark and I see them winning this game .

Elsewhere, Arsenal still struggling to breakdown Southampton as this looked like a walkover after a big result they got over PSG, but of course game is not done and they can still redeem themselves easily.

Southampton just scored their first goal at 55 minutes into the game by Archer, despite Arsenal having the most ball possession and shots on target, of which if Arsenal is not careful, they are likely to walk away with today's game 3 points. But however, let's watch out to see how it ends.

However, Kovacic of Manchester City just scored a second goal at 47 minutes into the game, of which he is likely to be the man of the match, haven scored two goals on today's game. I'm more confident in Manchester City winning this game.

Three minutes after Southampton scored Havertz was able to equalize the goal on the 58th minutes, 11 minutes later Martinelli scored another goal for his club on the 69th minutes of the match to take the lead from Southampton. It is wonderful to see that Southampton goal was able to motivate Arsenal from coming out from their shell to score two goals within 11 minutes. It is 2-1.

On the other hand Doku came from the bench to calm the pressure and frustration on City as he scored the third goal with a good finish to put Fulham out of place of equalizing the goal. It is 3-1

That was quite an impressive game by the Arsenal team today, equalizing and likewise winning against Southampton in the just concluded game, of which I thought maybe Russell Martin had come up with a workable strategy to draw todays game, despite not been in good shape of recent, losing their past 6 Premier league matches. But I'm happy Arsenal was able to win today's game, as they needed the 3 points to stay top on the Premier League table, as Arsenal is currently rank 3, with same points to Manchester City ranked 2, with both clubs having same 17 point. A big congratulations to Haverts, Martinelli and Saka for such awesome goals and attack force channel towards winning today's game against Southampton.
