I won’t because this is Arne Slot’s first season that he can’t win the premier league, he can if he keeps up with this performance and maintain the consistency in their game throughout the competition. Arsenal are also a major contender and with their performance so far, you can’t help but to keep them in the title contenders because they’re showing that much performance needed by a club to excel in the premier league.

There is no prohibition that a new coach cannot become a champion because after all everything is still possible to happen as long as he is capable, although it will certainly be very difficult to do so, but nothing is impossible in something like this.

We once underestimated Slot even when he was appointed to replace Klopp at Anfield because we thought he would not be able to, but in the end at the beginning of the season he showed a very good performance and slapped some people who underestimated his abilities .  Now the situation could be the same when we don't think he is worthy just because it's his first season, but there could be a surprise later.

First and foremost, I really don't think the English premier league is the most competitive in the world because if it was that competitive, Manchester city wouldn't be dominating the English premier league the way they have been dominating the league for year now.

What I see that is actually going on in the English premier league is that apart from Manchester city that is a level above the rest, the other top teams are just competing with each other, and to be honest here, this current league standings can't be maintained till early January probably, by January latest, we are definitely going to see the real challenger of Manchester city.

Then talking about the English premier league as the strongest as you claimed, I totally disagree to that, yea they have Manchester city right now, the most competitive team in the uefa champions league in recent times, but that doesn't make them the strongest because the likes of real madrid, Bayern Munich and even inter Milan are still in the picture presently, so in my own opinion they are just one of the best, not the best among them all.

In competitiveness, I think Premier League is the most competitive because Manchester City didn't win easy, even though they've become a champion four years streak. Liverpool and Arsenal can give a fight, sometime Chelsea and Newcastle also joined the race.

In Serie A, it's hard to predict the champion, but it doesn't mean it's competitive because their quality are keep dropping.

Yeah of course La Liga is the strongest league, but it's not competitive since either Real Madrid or Barcelona who become the champion.

I saw Pep look dizzy when Traore almost created 2nd goal for Fulham.

Acting dizzy is always the pattern of Pep Guardiola on most of the matches, he actually has different funny ways he expresses his emotions when the ball is going against them or about to score because there was a match they played immediately the opponent carried the Ball one on one with there goalkeeper he got so overwhelmed by sitting on the floor, actually I no is a very normal thing for coaches to feel bad in that scenario but with the squad and performance of Manchester City Pep Guardiola shouldn't have been displaying that way because even if they are being scored first by there opponent but they always fight back and equalize.

In fact, they also created some good chances, but they were not lucky enough to score. Despite Newcastle also creating more clear chances, they were not lucky enough to score either, and that is why the match ended in a goalless draw.

Newcastle were just unlucky not to have collected the 3 points from yesterday's match against Everton. Gordon should have scored that penalty kick. I was relieved when Newcastle were awarded the penalty because I wanted them to win the match so that they will keep maintaining their position up there in the league table. But it was a big disappointment to me  when Gordon couldn't convert the spot kick. Newcastle shouldn't be losing points the way they are doing. They are one of my favourite team in the premier League and I would want them to finish in the top 4 this season. But if they keep dropping points to smaller clubs like Everton who are not doing well it's going to affect them at the later stage of the season.

City scraped through with a tough 3-2 win against Fulham, but they allowed way too many chances at the back. Fulham managed to get three one-on-one opportunities against Ederson, which is just too much. City got lucky that Adama Traoré couldn’t finish his chances — if he had, the game could’ve turned out very differently.

I also don't understand why in this match Manchester City often made Fulham's attackers move too freely in their defense. In fact, if we look at Manchester City in other matches, especially against teams that are not too strong, usually the opposing team always has difficulty penetrating Manchester City's defense. A late faulty strike from Eberechi Eze denied Crystal palace an equalizer against Liverpool. Liverpool gave away lots of chances carelessly and I would've been very happy if they were punished for it. Crystal Palace was better in the second half but Liverpool defended their only goal with all their might.

Eberechi Eze needs to step up and be that man to carry the team. He’s not alone in this, Adam Wharton also needs to improve his game. Since the departure of Olise and Andersen, it looks like Crystal Palace have completely lost that finishing touch in their attack, watching their games I see that they create chances but their finishing is very poor. Eberechi Eze has been involved in a couple of these chances, he really has to do better by converting those chances to goals.

Newcastle continually has the same problems, High possession percentage and failing to score.
The fact they missed a penalty is bad enough but taking Barnes off when he was most effective in the game tells a lot about Eddie. Quality is missing
The Management needs to sort out whatever is going on at the club, There is no togetherness whatsoever, unlike last season or the previous season.

Newcastle still have a very small luck factor so the team could not win at Everton yesterday and that is a very painful reality for Newcastle. Because if only the penalty had not failed to score, Newcastle would have won at Everton and taken home the three points in that match. Even before I didn't think the English premier league was the best in football, out of the top five leagues in football every season there is competition but in the premier league, one team always performs well to win the league title every season, Manchester City is dominating premier for many years now since pep Guardiola come to the team and the remaining top team's like Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester united, Chelsea and other are suffering every season which has already show that it is not the best league.

In La Liga there is competition because last two seasons Barcelona won the league and last season Real Madrid won it too and if you look at the Serie A league last two seasons Napoli won the league title and last season Inter Milan won it and this season Napoli is leading the league table currently which show that there is a competition in the league, I  want a league should be tough where different teams will be performing well and not allow one team to be winning the title league every season.

I think the Aston Villa vs Man United match will be quite a fierce match. although Aston Villa can currently be superior based on their performance at the start of this season which was quite impressive compared to Man United which was quite bad. But the inconsistency that Man United always displays makes the Man United team more difficult for us to predict. Many people are judging Arsenal from their previous performance last season; although we all know they made many mistakes for the last 2 seasons, I’m expecting them to be better this season.

I haven’t seen any difference in Arsenal performance, they have been playing this season the same way they played in previous seasons, so I am still expecting the same result they have been getting. I don’t think Arsenal can surprise us with anything this season, all they will end the season with will be either second or third position, but I don’t think Arsenal will be able to win the Premier League title this season, they will end up disappointing their fans towards the ending of the season, just the way they have been doing every season.

The season is still fresh and only seven weeks, there are still 31 games to go. First and foremost I think winning games is the most important thing if you want to win the league title. When competing against a team like City, you just have to try and win every game. I believe that’s what Arsenal are doing, the two draws so far have been against strong opponents and also because they picked a red card in both games. Arsenal understand the task is to win games no matter what and have built up a strong winning mentality, that for me is a big improvement.

Arteta has really changed the thinking of the Gunners this season after going head to head against PSG with a win (2-0) they didn't use the champions league game as an excuse of not performing well in today's game against Southampton. A team that caused Arsenal the chance of winning the league title 2 seasons ago, at least they started it by playing out a draw which started Arsenal's down fall.
But today's game was a little bit off color for Arsenal in the first half, where they played like a team that doesn't want all 3pt. In the second half Arsenal fired up and started pressing till they dominated the midfield of the visitors and made the defense to be open to penetrate.
Between Arsenal and City the team that's dropping their style of play at this very stage of the season, I'll say City are slowly dropping that force of dominating every single game in the EPL, they got lucky if not the game would have ended in a draw. I think things are some how not going well for City in that midfield, they need a replacement as soon as possible.

Great result in the end. But there are some concerns, especially in the first half. I might sound harsh, but Arsenal need to be better at home. We need to really push to take advantage of our control when we have it; in the first half, we looked very poor. We must rotate players over the season. This to build chemistry between starters and the bench.

I was very impressed with that second half. The Saka-Havertz combo was phenomenal. They helped us more decisive on the ball in the second half. They could be doing that in every game.

We haven't fully learned yet from last season. We struggle to have a full 90 minutes of control in home games. We looked so badly in the first half, but played differently in the second half. Still not consistent.

Indeed the Gunners later turned the game around for the better but they really struggled to do so and to think it was in their home turf. Assuming it wasn't Southampton they played against, then the story would have been a different one. If the Emirates can be made strong like the way the Etihad or Anfield is, I don't think any opponent would go there and hope to get three points without really working hard for it.
