Enzo Maresca is really a talented coach, and I am really happy with the strategy that he is using. Chelsea are currently struggling with Aston Villa to stay in the Champions League zone, they are having equal points with Aston Villa, but they are ahead of Villa with goals, which makes Chelsea to be in 4th position. If Enzo Maresca can continue with his good performance, then he should be able to end the season in the top 4, but Maresca still has some things to fix in the team.

All I think they are after currently is to qualify for the Champions League, which I think is possible. Sure. I think management feels like why will they fire him during this hard time when he has achieved some trophies for them before, but still, if you look at the Manchester United position, it’s obvious that they are facing a lot of challenges and their performance is not really improving. That is why some fans feel like firing Ten Hag to bring another person will make things better for Manchester United. However, maybe the management, if they sack him and get a new manager, will think that he will make things better, and he failed to do that. Things will not go the way they want. Chelsea is not fighting for a league title this season and the coach has said it already, Chelsea fighting for the league this season is like adding another pressure to the team, after having a bad performance for the past two years they bounced back by having Enzo Maresca as a new coach, we know that Chelsea is in good shape this season and they can challenge the remaining team but I don't think it is a good idea, Chelsea need to study the big team's like Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester city very well in other to have a good confidence whenever they want to play against them.

The reason why I said Chelsea needs to study the big teams is because Chelsea struggled to win their first game and it was against Manchester City and that shows that Chelsea still has a lot of things to fix before thinking they can win the league title, Chelsea has not played against two or three big team's this season and that is why I'm still doubting that we need to see more games of Chelsea before thinking that they are capable of winning the title league.

This sudden decision will be as a result of the charges FA is charging Manchester City which they will hardly survived because they failed in their recent appeal, we don't know how it will go yet, but if they are find guilty of the alleged charges, they will serve several punishments which can result to the team been demoted to relegation zone and other penalties which include declaiming some of their titles they won. If the team management is fund guilty, they team will lose several players, and I am not sure if Pep Guardiola will stay with the team because we know that he is a coach that need a team that can spend a lot of money to sign all his desired players.

This season Chelsea performance has be become great a performed compared to the last season how they was so performing very poorly, this season chelsea area able to conceded a lot of goals after wining several matches they’ve played; as it now Chelsea is maintaining the 4th position in the table, and now that Aston Villa is behind of Chelsea with the same points they need to maintain their consistency against their match, because that’s the main problem that there was facing in previous seasons.

By features arrangements, Aston Villa might have a way to stay above Chelsea because I'm not sure how Chelsea are going to win Liverpool that is fighting to stay ontop of the table, any small mistake from this play will not only drag them from there, they have to come down to stay with Aston Villa hopefully Villa don't win their next matches again but sometimes, things don't go as expected, minor teams don't finish from surprises.

Since Chelsea are able to make some improvements this season they might not find the match so difficult, even thought the Liverpool is going to win them they can also try their possible to reduce some pressure for the Liverpool; because for now Liverpool have dominated the La Liga by claiming the top of standing.

Aston Villa is more like a fluke they can able to win against Bayern Munich and reach 5th position in Premier League. Currently Aston Villa only have good results, but their statistic are actually just like a mediocre teams. A strong teams need to have both good results and performance, Aston Villa don't really dominating the match and they have bad goal/conceded ratio.

It’s because this season they have dropped in performance the consistency in no more there as it was last season that’s why they have dropped some few unexpected points. Take the match against United as an example, they should have won Manchester United and pick all 3 points but they failed even as Manchester United is struggling this shows that they need to put in more effort to maintain their 5th position. They might do better as the season progresses, they need to do better else other teams will take their place, teams like Brighton and Newcastle are just two points behind so there is no room for mistakes.

Aston Villa is fifth in the table. At the same time, the team won the Champions League match against a strong team like Bayern Munich. This was a surprising result. Aston Villa's overall performance is good but this team cannot be called very strong.

Consistency is what they lack at the moment to be called a very strong team. They are good quite alright but they need to work on their consistency. They still need to improve their game and work harder and not be carried away by the win against Bayern Munich.

Time will tell about that for Chelsea and we just have to wait to see their match against Liverpool if they pull up a good performance for them to be worthy of the praise they’ve been receiving since this season began. I am optimistic about them though, but I’ll want to see their performance till the mid season when they must have played with all the teams in the league to see their strength and stance in the league before one can conclude if they can make it to the top four of the table or even be a major contender if the league title. I like that their next match is with Liverpool, they’re in good form now and also Liverpool are also in good form, so I expect this match to be evenly played and the best team wins in the end of the game.

No doubt i would say they have been the most impressive team that has picked form since the start of the Premier League. Last year the fans complained a lot about consistency in winning. If they win today the next match they will lose. But this season we have see how they maintained to win in every match they have played even in other competitions. If worst comes to worst they end the game in a draw match.

Its funny how quickly the accolades is been giving to Enzo Maresca instead of the players. Yes, he has tried in directing the team on what to do but we should not forget that the players are more relentless now. They want to win something, at least go to the UCL next season. Palmer contribution to the team has pushed the other players to some extent now they believed they can win every game.

Honestly Enzo Murresca had made a positive and significant impact on Chelsea since he came board as their new manager particularly the set of young players currently in the squad having loan and sold all the excess and redundant players he met in the team and I believe in the  next few seasons to come they would definitely become title challenger if Maresca keep those youngsters with just one or two more new signings I expect Chelsea Board to continue to back him with full support thus the team would become formidable to be able to challenge the other top teams.

Who will replace Ten Hag is not an issue, there is even no short time given the present level of the premier League because the league hasn't gone too far to say a coach cannot be replaced, after all Jose mourinho was sacked by Tottenham Hotspurs after qualifying them for FA Cup finals, a feet they haven't reached for a long time, but yet the club management didn't have a rethink when they wanted to take that action, so there is no better time to show Erik Ten Hag the exit door.  There is no point hiring a temporary coach, I've heard they've approached the likes of Thomas Tuchel, so for a coach of that capacity I don't think it should be on a temporary basis.

I still remember what Pep Guardiola said, he said that Maresca needed time to bring Chelsea much more developed and be able to be on par with the elite Premier League teams. I think Pep said it seriously. Now, Chelsea is in 4th place in the Premier League standings. Although its position is vulnerable to being overtaken by teams below it, at least under his guidance Chelsea is better than other coaches at the beginning of their season. In 7 matches in this competition, Maresca gave 4 wins, two draws against teams that play more defensively, one match lost against the Premier League giants, Manchester City. Nicolas Jackson who previously always had difficulty scoring goals, now from his 7 matches he has scored 4 goals and 3 assists, at least better than the previous season. One of the most stable players is Cole Palmer, although operating behind Chelsea's single striker, he has scored 6 goals and 5 assists. Their are people out their that are better than him because is not looking responsible for the club at all and I know everyone will be in support for the dismissal of ten but the question is who do they have in mind to replace ten with and I don't think dismissing him now is actually worthy they should just allow this season ends before firing his ass out of the United because for the past to season now United have be baseless they don't have direction and ten is not really helping matters. The management have to think this through so that they don't make another serious mistake and they have given him more chance than he deserves but if it was Chelsea he would have been long gone by now.

Where did you get this information? According to the leaks, no decision has been made today and he could still be fired in the coming days. It all looks more like the management is waiting for a nod to take over at United from someone they really want. Once that is done, Ten Hag will be sacked. If not, he will stay until the next opportunity to hire the right coach.

Aston Villa are better than Chelsea base on performance, they are ready to get 3pt more than the Chelsea side. I think the Villains have faced difficult opponents than Chelsea and they made a good account of themselves but Chelsea have more easy games than Aston Villa but they fail to get something out of it. If you ask me I'd rate Aston Villa ahead of Chelsea because I see the Aston Villa team as one that's consistent this season while Chelsea are finding it hard to be stable, they (the Blues) are like a switch, off and on.
Playing against Liverpool would be tougher than what they played against Nottingham Forest, if Chelsea couldn't beat 10men Nottingham Forest is it a complete Liverpool team that they can get all 3pt? It can't happen, at this point Chelsea can't withstand the force of Liverpool and Slot would do anything to make sure he maintains that number 1 spot on the log, losing or dropping point is not an option for the new manager of the Reds. It would be another win for Liverpool but the game might not be as strong as we expected, for me I'd say a 2-1 win for Liverpool against Chelsea.
