Football is always full of surprises, and nowadays I don’t always feel much surprise when anything happens in football because I have witnessed many. I didn’t really expect that Fulham would even equalize the goals and go on to win the game, but the truth is that both teams played well, and Fulham deserved to win. A draw was what I was expecting before the match started, based on Fulham’s recent performance, or Chelsea should have won the game since it was Chelsea’s home game. However, I never expected a win from Fulham because I knew Chelsea was in great form. Chelsea should prepare for their next match, which will be against Ipswich. Ipswich is not a strong team, but sometimes they are unpredictable, especially when playing at their home ground.

Exactly, football is full of offsets this time, many things are happening above our expectations and we keep seeing surprises because the teams we consider as small teams have signed quality players to become a better team because no team wants to be left behind.

From 1 -0 lead to 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge is actually not good for Chelsea, their standards of this season is above losing such games, but what do we have to say now as Fulham also have quality players as well.


Manchester United on the other hand is facing another threat, their captain Bruno Fernandez has been sent off, they are currently playing one man down which might lead them to a defeat because they are plying away from home.
Manchester United just conceded 1 goal in the 58th minute; I hope they don’t concede much goals.

Manchester City had their first goal when B. Silva got them the lead in the 16 minutes. They way they were playing i thought they would score more goals and may win this match but it did not happen. In the 36th minute Ndiaye leveled the score for Everton. Manchester City wasn't able to find another goal and in the 2nd half none of the team were able to get find the net.

Before the start of play, i thought Everton would be easily defeated by Man city as they only won 3 matches till now, but they show some outclass resistance against Man City and didn't let them win.

Now Man City will try their luck in the next match against Leicester City on this Sunday.

Except you're betting against them, it's safer to avoid giving them a win until they get back to winning ways. City's form has dropped drastically and betting on them to win is like doing charity to bookies.

As today is boxing day, it looks like the bookies are having a great day boxing the life out of punters. Chelsea had the opportunity of wining this game easily, but they allowed Jackson to remain on the pitch for so long even when he is not being useful at the front. with a porous defense with a lot of mistakes coming from Sanchez and the whole of the defense team, it only took some pressure before finally breaking the defense and now they will understand what it means like not to be in the title race. even Manchester united that is even struggling with bad result for a long time now still went to collect a red card and allow wolves to give them a one goal lead and they have managed to maintain it till this moment in the game. This things happens, look at how wolves are dealing with Manchester United in their home. Sometimes, you just can't explain it. My only concern now is that Chelsea has played their 18th games and still couldn't reach Liverpool by points, there is difference of 4 points while Liverpool has 2 games to play which teams are Leicester City and West ham, I'm sure they are going to win them to get 6 points. If we add that points to the 5 difference they have already, that's already 11 points difference. The more I look at their chance of winning the EPl, the less I see it from my perspective.

Actually, it is normal for this to happen in a big league like the Premier League, where competition between clubs will be very tight. Last season we actually saw Liverpool very well, it's just that the competition faced was greater than Arsenal and Man City.
currently, several favored teams are experiencing inconsistency in the game, and automatically becomes an opportunity for Liverpool to dominate. I hope they can maintain this condition until the end of the season.

Bruno Fernandes should not have left the team incomplete. When things were not going well for Manchester United, he made things worse. The manager should have a plan and get the team back together. Amorim's job is not easy because United does not have a sufficient squad in my opinion. They cannot dominate their opponents in many matches and the team's morale is not at a good level.

Manchester City is a team that finds it very easy in front of goals when they are in good form and until they get back to that level of performance where they do not struggle to score goals I don't see them getting better regardless of the team they face.

Initially they said it was injury that is affecting the team but right now I don't know what to believe anymore unless their coach Pep Guardiola will be willing to talk about the problem of his team because some thing is not right and it's becoming too obvious you can see the way Haaland is struggling unlike him that can easily score cheap goals from chances that is created. Drawing with Everton is a shame to Manchester City but I guess because tbe team isn't performing well, drawing a match will looks like an achievement to many people. If you check Everton and Manchester City last 10 games, you will know how Manchester City has fell off badly and they didn't just draw, it's in Etihad that they draw Everton, same Everton that is trying and praying to leave relegation zone, this team need a redemption because there rating is not even encouraging.

This is the same team that was putting other teams in their place, making them bow before them. In fact, I compare the team that played today's match of Manchester City and Everton, it was the same players and this is what they could offer. Haaland has penalty on a plater of hold and.he struggle score it, and was later shouting for his goal been rule out after it was obvious that it was offside goal, I'm not tired of supporting the team but it's affecting my head mentally.

If indeed you are a Manchester city fan, you wouldn't be sounding this way. This team has been doing it for the past number of years. If they are struggling this season their fans should rally round them and wait patiently to see how the club will revive during the winter and summer transfer windows. It's still Pep Guardiola who has been doing it over the years that's still incharge of the club and I believe that he will transform the fortune of the club as he has been doing for the past years. I don't even see their draw against Everton as a shame, same Everton has been holding high profile teams to draws lately. Teams like Chelsea and Arsenal who has been doing better than Manchester city this season played barring draws with Everton, so it's not a shame per say. Manchester city are not having their best season, so the draw against Everton is a point gained. Chelsea loss today was surprising though, we have seen how good they have been playing over the past matches they were playing and it’s something of shock to lose today to Fulham even after getting the first goal. Premier league is very unpredictable and results like this should not be coming something of shock again.

We know how terrible Man City have been for over a month now, trying to get a comfortable win is a bigger problem, to even dominate a game till the end like they used to is not in their playbook anymore. Pep Guardiola have tried all he could to make the team come back to that greatness but no way, nothing positive is happening instead they're still losing more game that would have moved them back into the top 4. Before the year runs out the Citizens have two games at hand before heading into 2025, they are still going to struggle judging from their previous performance, they will be hosting Everton who haven't conceded a goal in their last 3 games, after that they  have Leicester, how many points are they going to get to rap up 2024?

In as much as Manchester City might be having a poor run of form this year, I don't think they will struggle in 2025 given to the fact that they will be actively involved in the upcoming transfer window as they will be looking forward to bring in quality payers that will be able to add depth in their squad and be able to contribute to the success of the club.

I have stopped betting on City matches but it would be fun to always bet against them in their matches, because you might end up making good profits from their matches.
