Big chance missed by Manchester City today, and worst is that they were foiled by a team that has already been relegated, it is absolutely crazy. I think it just goes to show how underwhelming City's season has been, to be in a very tight top five race, only to drop points to a team that has already been relegated, it is unacceptable for a team of City's standards.

That said, Pep's team have two more games to play, against Bournemouth and Fulham, and those games are a must win now if they want to qualify for the CL next season.

It is now certain that either of Tottenham and Manchester United will take one spot so the only available slot is being contested by Manchester City,  Chelsea and Newcastle.  This is the reason Manchester City never needed this draw.

Still, one win in the last two games might be enough, especially with rivals playing each other.

It's funny that Pep Guardiola's troops even though they are against a team that has been relegated but cannot win, of the many shots fired none can be a goal - meaning this is a very bad finish, especially Haaland cannot be a goal machine.

In this match I bet on Manchester City with odds of 1.19 which should be able to win easily instead of losing, damn even small odds cannot be relied on.  

Now there are only 2x matches left, don't miss like against Southampton who shared points because it is clearly detrimental to Manchester City itself.

The winner of the Europa league has an automatic slot in the champions league draws, outside the provision of the qualification slots allocated to the various leagues. This is how I think the champions league is right now. So any team that finishes in the 5th will play champions league. So next season we are expecting England to have 6 teams in the champions league.

Yes, I know that too. Because the team that wins the Europa League will be in the Champions League. They will not be in the Premier League quota but in the Champions League from the Europa League winner's quota. That's why the first five places are still important for the Champions League. Also, having six teams from a country go to the Champions League will have a very positive effect on that country's UEFA points ranking.

I was sure this bet wasn't going to happen. Southampton couldn't even shoot, let alone score. They finished the whole match with 2 shots and zero on goal. Manchester City, on the other hand, had 26 shots but no goals. They dropped 2 important points that they should have gotten.
For the second time this season their 4-game winning streak came to an end. The fact that they couldn't get a bigger streak summed up their season. The team that will be champions must have a long winning streak.

It's that time of the season where bottom teams hunt the big teams and so I'm not too surprised and do happy I literally didn't place a bet on it except I may have stick with my usual double( of either City winning or getting  a draw).

Anyway, as a Chelsea fan this is am exciting scoreline and I hope we can capitalise on this against Newcastle United tomorrow but it won't be an easy job since they're still fighting  for top four spot and both teams would be hoping to capitalise on City drop of points today.

I don’t really think anyone will expect that Manchester city will draw todays match, Manchester city played against a team that has been relegated already, Southampton is currently at the bottom of the table, they are the last club on premier league table, but Manchester city thats currently fighting for the champions league slot couldn’t win them, Manchester city are not even suppose to lose or draw any match right now.

I don’t think anyone will even expect that Manchester city will draw todays match, most people that placed bet on Manchester city today will be losing their bet, because everyone expected a win from Manchester city with a reasonable goal margin, but the match ended as draw. seriously I never expected a draw in the match, I was just so confident in Manchester city today.

It looks like your prediction was right and I think Man City performed very badly. 26 shots without scoring looks like a weak team. Sorry I'm not mocking the team but the fact is Man City's performance was not able to break Southampton's goal. But it's the end of season game which is always full of surprises as I said before. So we must be careful in choosing to bet on each match. Because even the top teams can be defeated by small teams.

Actually some match are just irritating I could have just do other things or playing games instead of what I saw today because of how terrible it is, Manchester City is the least big team I will predict to draw Southampton because aside from not having a good points Southampton is a club that has never won any club for 13 matches which is almost all their premier League match they have, others has been coming and be collecting 3 point but Manchester City got only one. I'm disappointed on the whole Manchester City for this draw. for the fact that Manchester City and Southampton did not have any goals makes there match the lowest premier League match on this Saturday.

I think Southampton had a plan to not let Manchester City score a single goal throughout the match. Manchester City dominated the match from start to finish - but they failed to score a goal as the match ended 0-0. Southampton won a point for nothing at home today - but at least they embarrassed and put Manchester City under a lot of pressure.

Of course I don't think it makes sense - but anything can happen during a game. Southampton who were already relegated, ended up being the team that put Manchester City on the brink of failing to qualify for next season's Champions League - I don't know what to say, it just doesn't make sense.

It was hard to expect a 0-0 in a game where City definitely need 3 points, as the battle for a place in the top 5 and a ticket to the Champions League is in full swing. The opponent has literally scored 11 points in 35 games and now they have scored 12th. A strange result, but there is a positive side: it seems to me more and more that Pep is finished as a coach, I can't wait for next season to see for myself.

Arsenal and Man City will currently focus on maintaining their positions in the standings for a Champions League ticket next season. Arsenal facing Liverpool, will certainly have quite a hard time with the resistance from the Premier League champions this season. But Man City may be very favored to win in this week's match.
If Arsenal is unable to get a win, then what happens is that their position is shifted by Man City with a goal difference. We are approaching the end of the season, and the competition for a place in the Champions League is certainly getting more exciting, seeing the points difference, which is not too far between the teams.

If at the end of this season and Arsenal failed to end it at the second position in the EPL it would be more disappointing that after all the best shows they gave all through the season in all competitions they still couldn't end hold it next to the league champions. It won't be like Manchester city had the worst season because for any team to end in second place after going through all the losses City had and still had to end in second place then they would be better off than an Arsenal team that may end in third place. I hope that doesn't happen eventually.

I don't doubt that it's not possible but after missing out on qualify for the finals and potentially winning the Champions league, do you think Arsenal would still want to miss qualifying for top 4? I don't think so, even though they fail to finish as runners they usually finish, they would either finish in top 3 or 4, maybe your angle of judgement is cause they'll be playing against Liverpool next, but don't forget that Liverpool are already Champions and might not take the match very seriously since losing it doesn't count for them.

 Those Liverpool players are currently taking a break most of them might even be spending more time with their families and less trainings since they've already won league and are not in any other competition. They'll even be avoiding having injuries that could affect them next season, so they won't be very serious like Arsenal who needs to maintain their position.

I am very frustrated watching Manchester City game today because they played quite well by recording many attacks but I wonder why it was so difficult for them to score a goal. I see Manchester city position is quite unsafe in the standings because they have played their 36th match with a collection of 65 points and some teams below their ranking have only played 35 matches and maybe in the 36th match they will be able to overtake Manchester City. Football can be very unpredictable, who would have thought that  Manchester city would not be able to beat Southampton. This is the reason why I I don't underestimate any club. a lot of people had high hopes that city would win because they are chasing after the second position  but the game ended as a draw that's quite sad. foot is full of surprises.
