Logically, if Bournemouth were indeed stronger than Liverpool, bookmakers wouldn't be offering higher odds for Bournemouth. We all know Liverpool is a strong team with a better squad. Meanwhile, Bournemouth is a mediocre team that will never be able to beat Liverpool.

I have a feeling that Liverpool is not going to win with a big goal margin? The total goal for this game may even be lower than 4 goals but Liverpool stands a better chance at winning than Bournemouth. If both teams were to be compared, Liverpool is way ahead of them with a very better form, team depth, consistency and strength except Bournemouth gets lucky a goal may may not be awarded to them by the end of this game.

We can really say with all certainty that Liverpool is going to win this match because at times football is really funny, the team you least expect to win may end up winning. Just like what you said Liverpool is way ahead of them with a good form infact they have all what it takes to win Bournemouth. However there are times the teams that are not in good form may just get lucky and win . I believe the season is just starting to underate the performance of any club, regardless of the club performance last season. Because clubs that there performance wasn't that good in the previous season may end up being in good form the coming or next season.

I don't think EvolutionCoin is entirely correct, but at the end of the day, he has a point. We're not new to the game of football and we all know that Bournemouth has defeated Liverpool at least twice in their last 24 meetings, how about that??

Liverpool really had it easy last season to win the premier league,  mainly because most of the top teams are either having injury issues or having a poor form, which Liverpool was not affected with any of this issue.
Liverpool might get there first win of the season today, but I don't think they will win the premiership this season, but even if they win it, they would work really hard for it, because they will not have it as easy as they had it last season. I am glad the premier league is kicking off today, it's been a long wait.

Historically, Arsenal–United clashes can be unpredictable, no matter what the “paper” squads look like. I think Arsenal *should* have the upper hand, but calling it an “easy win” might be premature — we’ve seen too many “sure” matches turn into surprises in the Premier League.

Yeah, Arsenal is a far greater team and we need to just realize that United didn't get that much better this summer. I mean if they turn out to be as bad as last year, I wouldn't be shocked. I wonder what the odds were for PSG to lift the cup in the 80th minute? I'm sure it was no less than 20. As for the conclusions, PSG was actually on the verge of a second painful defeat to an underdog in the final (the first was to Chelsea 0-3), they need to draw conclusions. They were clear favorites in this game but barely escaped. I wonder if PSG can show the same results in the upcoming season as they did last year? Thomas Frank should make his team ready for the league matches coming up this weekend, no excuse because once you lose match or drop point it will be difficult to recover early because almost all the premier league team are ready for next season.

Yeah, agree... We didn't see any title fight last season. Liverpool dominated the Premier League from the start of the season and easily won the title. Long before the season ended, we were sure that Liverpool would be the champions. Liverpool were 10 points ahead of Arsenal. But this season is different. Arsenal's inconsistency made it much easier for Liverpool to navigate the season and secure victory last season, but we shouldn't be surprised by Arsenal doing the same thing every season, even in previous seasons, looking at what Arteta has achieved, they always lose their way in the final stages of the league, which is crucial, even though they perform well from the start to the midpoint of the league and are in contention for the top spot with either Liverpool or Manchester City. I want to say that if this happens again this season, Arsenal has a curse at the end of the league that prevents them from winning the EPL and only finishing as runners-up.

You've spoke my mind actually. Any team that will win the EPL this season will be a team, that plays well and have depth. The summers windows has shown us that the league will be more tougher compared to last season, because all the big clubs has equip themselves. Chelsea has a good squad, Manchester City bought players during the January transfer window and this summer too. Arsenal bought their long awaited striker, and also added depth in their squad. It wont be easy for Liverpool to win the league this season.

The match between the PSG and Tottenham was very interesting but the results were in the favour of PSG. The team PSG is a strong team and there is no doubt about their strength and the dedication they have.  But this is the chance for Tottenham to prove themselves as the best. This is the fact that they fought very well and got defeated after the fight. But there were the things to overcome that they can make the wolin possible. According to many the responsibility of Tottenham's failure should be taken by Thomas Frank. Because if he does some effort they are very close to chasing the success. Liverpool won the last season, but I wouldn't say it was easy for the club. It contested as usual, and for the lapses of many clubs like Arsenal and Man City, it was able to lift the trophy with a good gap of 10 points away from the closest rilval, Arsenal. It actaully lost 2 matches, drew 2 and only won one in the last 5 matches of the seaon, to show that it wasn't easy.

This seaon, I don't see Liverpool easily lifting the cup, the likes of Man City will not be lagging behind the way it did in the last season. Man City slept for too long last season, which helped Liverpool to continue moving higher on the table. It will not be the same story again if Man City could give it a good fight from the beginning to the end.

And Liverpool was lucky enough, as when other clubs faced challenges, they were able to win. Even Manchester City, which had been unable to win anything this season, was unable to do so. Everyone thought this season would be Arsenal's, but in the end, it was all disappointment. And even if a lot of clubs have strengthened their club, you should not underestimate any club, because you never know what they are going to be up to this season. After all, they are not making me proud at all. They need to do better.
