I agree in this types of competitive games there are no clear favorites because both teams will be coming out for a win as there exist a bitter rivalry between these two teams. But going by current form i think that Manchester City is the favorite in this game because Manchester United is not in a very good form and Manchester United looks disorganized and this is not the best time to play a team like city that has eyes on the title.


This game will be very decisive especially for Manchester City because they can't drop points again because anything short of victory will not be good for their title race.

It's everyone's belief that Arsenal should win the match against Nottingham Forest,  judging on present form and Arsenal's ambition, but in the Premier League I don't think any match is a walkover,  because the league tends to spring surprises, although I also agree that Arsenal is going to win the match, but I don't think it's going to be an easy ride, because Nottingham Forest is also fighting for survival.

For some reason, Manchester Cty sometimes loses when they play against Manchester Utd, like when they met in the FA Cup final in the 2024 season and also in other matches. I remember seeing the same result, but I forget whether it was in the Premier League or not. but you're right that Manchester City sometimes loses or draws when facing Manchester United.

perhaps Manchester Utd also has high motivation not to lose to a team from the same city as them, as it seems to involve their pride as well. but in this encounter, I am quite confident that Manchester City will win, even if it is by a narrow margin.

As they where to able to make it happen and claim the top of standings which is a great. Their aim now is to achieve Arsenal from top of table which is what they find very difficult. Because Arsenal in other hand are also in best form this season, that’s why in every of their matches  they always try to win or draw:; anyway can’t wait to weekend to see what will happen between Manchester City and Man United.

To me, Manchester United won’t take this match easily against Manchester city, United will be playing at home which means they will definitely want to win this match, but the fact is that Manchester city have high chance of winning the match, since they’re the stronger among the two.

I would love to agree with this point, the only reason stopping me is because Manchester United has not proven a valid point yet, I know Manchester United intend to dominate when playing against big club yet I doubt if they can defeat Manchester City. As an Arsenal fan I’m totally in support of Manchester United winning but it seems impossible viewing Manchester city will do everything in their power to win against United, at the other hand Amorim is no longer available, during times like this sacking the coach was not a nice idea.

He's a good player, IDK why Atletico Madrid didn't make him their first choice. Now he has officially joined Tottenham Hotspur, projected as a replacement for Rodrigo Bentancur who had to undergo surgery for his hamstring injury. I don't think Gallagher's arrival will make a significant difference, as Tottenham are currently in a poor position, position #14 isn't a worthy spot for The Lilywhites.

And Conor Gallagher, few minutes he was switching to Aston villa and the next it was hijacked by Tottenham Hotspur. So what's with the use of Paulinha?! Will they be paired together when playing?! Leaving Atletico Madrid was a good decision for and from him, he needs that consistent game time.

i would have placed a bet on Manchester united to win or given them a goal ahead which is a risky bet but currently they are not really organised to place such level of hope on them, in previous seasons Manchester United would have had a chance but with the current state if the club right now they can't really defeat Manchester City....but it is better to go for a btts option because anything can happen

As I said before in a big match like this we can't predict it easily especially each team has its own advantages therefore unexpected things can happen
We have to admit Manchester City looked better in every way but Manchester United certainly doesn't want to be embarrassed when playing at home meaning they will play all out
I think there is a possibility that both teams will draw even though I know Manchester City can win it's just that I'm a bit doubtful

That's match looked like they were going to win, but they are having really bad luck. Besides everything else, they played without a number 9 and Soucek in the match. They really have to turn this around now, because they are facing the big teams and it's getting really tough. Truth is, losing at home to a relegation rival is just unnaceptable and west ham look like they are going down unfortunately.

I know it wasn't an expected result,but I was honestly hoping hammers get the three points from this. I think the referees (VARs) are sometimes too strict with the rules. West Ham struggled to win against QPR in the FA cup 3rd round, so I guess we all know where they belong now?

The acquisition of Conor Gallagher by Tottenham is not exactly a bad idea. He is a good midfielder and getting regular playing time in the premier leagues may perform miracles in his development. It was likely the correct move that he left Atletico Madrid because playing off-the bench was not always contributing to his development. Concerning his combination with Paulinho, this would provide Spurs with some balance in the midfield, Gallagher could provide energy and forward-running, whereas Paulinho could provide physicalism and experience. Assuming that Tottenham will keep on strengthening in the transfer window, they may have actual chance to climb up the table and transform this season.
