With Manchester united being behind Liverpool with just one point, I would say that Manchester united sure have a very good chance of finishing this season in the top 4, they just have to not lose points more than Liverpool will do and in a moment, they will be ahead of Liverpool right behind Aston villa is they maintain their 3rd place and didn't switch to 2nd place while Manchester city takes the 3rd place instead.

So for what the other user said, Manchester united have a very high chance of finishing in the fourth place in this season, but if with the opportunity they currently have, still ended up finishing in the fifth or lower position, then indeed, the management of the club sacking Amorim and hiring the current coach was absolutely not necessary.

The victory over  Man City will certainly boost Man United's confidence, but they must not get complacent just yet,  as this is only the first step.  Some people believe that this victory should not be taken as a definitive measure of success because Man City may have simply been having a bad day at the time, so the match against Arsenal will truly be the real test. This will clearly be a tough battle and Man United will likely have a hard time because Arsenal are in top notch form and this time Arsenal also have the advantage of playing at home. It will be interesting to see whether Man United will pull off another surprise or whether they will have to admit defeat.

That's right. Manchester United hopes of finishing in the top four are very strong especially since their gap to Liverpool is very small. Furthermore, United's focus is solely on the Premier League allowing them to maintain their players' fitness.

I get your point totally, everyone believes Arsenal is unstoppable this season but I also don't agree although they are the most in form currently in Europe and in the premier league so with this form it's difficult to say they won't win anything. We have to wait till they win it before celebrating but I think they have high chances of winning it because there is no serious contender. But I can't say the same thing for the champions league, that competition is so difficult especially when it gets to knock out stages so I can't say they are winning it.

The moment your consistency dropped, everything changed. It seems to me that we should not judge Manchester United’s current form based on the match against City, because as we can see, City have had quite a few mishaps in recent games, drawing or even losing to teams that are clearly weaker than them. I would generally include Manchester United in that category as well, and just look at City’s most recent Champions League match.


As for Arsenal, the team is in excellent form right now. I think they are capable of beating absolutely any opponent, including Manchester United. The only thing I am considering is that Arsenal might be a bit tired after their Champions League match against Inter, which was an away game. Even so, I still see Arsenal as the favorites against Manchester United, I think they can win.

They've always been that team to beat anyone, it's old news now to me, we just have inconsistent players and retarded management who do not know what they're obviously doing. I agree with you because if you look at Arsenal this season, they may be the only team consistent in almost every competition they compete in. However, this isn't enough, in recent seasons, they have performed very well and ultimately lost momentum which could have cost Arsenal the title. But perhaps last season was different because Man City and Liverpool were both consistent, making Arsenal's chances slim after a dip in form at the end of the season. Now we can see the conditions and opportunities are much greater because those two teams are not much better than Arsenal.

Arteta may have learned from his previous mistakes and is slowly gaining experience after experiencing failure in recent seasons, and perhaps this season is Arsenal's best chance to win the title. This victory was deserved, it certainly increases confidence but I believe it is not the beginning of a continuous recovery, better said it will not have consistency in the next matches.
City were less aggressive than usual, in my opinion they didn't give their full potential at all and Manchester United took advantage of the situation, also because they are still a very respectable team even if they have not been in their glory lately.

I wonder if it should be Arsenal that should be scared of Manchester United, or Manchester United to be scared of Arsenal because the two teams have both had good results in their last games. Manchester United beating Manchester City and also Arsenal beating Inter Milan. There is a lot of confidence on both sides, which increase the chances for the game to offer more action. Manchester City in their own game will want to make sure they take all points from the visiting wolves who will be relegated at the end of the season but can still cause some considerable pain.

Arsenal needs to play in the Premier League the way they play in the Champions League. The Premier League is a very strong league in the country, and Arsenal are at the top there. Therefore, to maintain their position at the top, in this highly competitive league, Arsenal need to win every game to keep their title hopes alive. Manchester United are a tough opponent, I agree, but Arsenal shouldn't have any problems in front of their home crowd in this match.

In my opinion, the reason is because Amorim was involved in a dispute with Manchester United's top brass and made very negative comments. The top brass had actually fulfilled Amorim's wishes, and this was proven by the club spending a lot of money to bring in players according to Amorim's wishes, but in reality, Amorim was unable to improve Manchester United's performance. Therefore, the management fired Amorim and appointed Carrick as his replacement. So far, under Carrick, there seems to be hope that Manchester United's performance will improve.

Yes, it can be seen from Manchester City's declining performance recently, even though they are still in second place in the Premier League standings, but they are now competing closely with Aston Villa. Will Manchester City shift and experience a drastic decline in performance in the current period and their attacks are indeed less sharp and their defense needs to be improved and that is indeed very important to survive.
