What's your reason why you didn't expect Arsenal to do very well against Bayer Leverkusen? For me I expected Arsenal to beat Bayer Leverkusen like 2-0 or 3-0 because they are far better than Bayer Leverkusen but I was disappointed that Arsenal couldn't win Bayer Leverkusen. Don't be too sure that Arsenal will beat Bayer Leverkusen at Emirates Stadium because of home advantage because home advantage doesn't help sometimes in a match, and for Bayer Leverkusen to give Arsenal tough time on their home ground they can also give Arsenal tough time at Emirates Stadium.

Agree. I lost money  in this match. I expected Arsenal to win. There are enough reasons to consider Arsenal as favorites. First of all, Arsenal was in pretty good form. Secondly, Arsenal won all 8 matches in the champions league. And thirdly, Leverkusen's performance is quite  erratic. So naturally, Arsenal was the  favorite in this match.

Arsenal's performance was boring. They should have performed better. But they did not play well. Arsenal's performance was quite slow. They managed only  7 shots in the  whole match. Well for me that's not an easy match at all because that game is going to be tough and some of the reasons being is that Chelsea actually just suffered a demoralizing defeat at the hands of PSG in the champions league although the right response would be to shake it off with a good performance in their next game but sometimes football isn't like that as defeat can affect a team moral and performance too and aside that Newcastle are also very difficult and in some kinda good shape after they pick form winning Manchester United and almost securing a victory against Barcelona too.

The premier league have 6 teams qualified to round of 16 in Champion League but not any one team winning the match with Arsenal and Newcastle United get better result by playin draw. I think three premier league team Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City at slim opportunity opportunity for qualifying next round after losing three margin goals at first leg match.

I doubt any premier league will qualify to round of 16 in Champion League for this season after having bad performance in first leg match, but Arsenal seems the only one team has great chance by playing at home for second leg match against Leverkusen.

That is true, City lost 3-0 to Real Madrid, and Chelsea got dominated by PSG, and Tottenham... I do not even want to talk about them lol. Newcastle was alright, still think that Barcelona will beat them, and Arsenal will probably defeat Leverkusen unless something shocking happens. But that's good enough, because as a league if you are putting 5-6 teams to last 16 then you have done your due and that means you are going to get enough ecoefficiency to stay at the top.

Sure doing this means they are getting more views and more money and keep being good teams but at the same time we are talking about a league that is doing a great job for the long term. Money is important and considering how much money premier league gets from TV rights, it's easy to see why they are at the top.
