It's been 5 years and 7 months since when last Arsenal won a trophy and it's increasingly surprising that they had to blow up this chance against a team that's not in form, I mean how on earth did they blow up this chance? Maybe they are just afraid of trophy, they are lucky that no other team is in form at this period, the pressure would have been much on them that they will start dropping points carelessly just like previous seasons. I wasn't expecting the mind of result of last night but it happened anyways, it's a small trophy though but it would have been a boost to them that will usher them to the big trophy in May when they win the league.

Arteta has the chance to make history by win the Curabao cup yesterday against Manchester City but they disappointed everyone. I didn't even know what to say that instance because I lost my bet to them for not winning the game. I belt for Manchester City disguise as team that was not serious only to come take this one personal, they won it and that is gone again till next season, who knows if they are going to even make it next season again.

If they refuse to win the Premier league, I will be short of words and you see the way the season is gong, the team are exhausted and many are injured, so if they don't get to win one trophy this season ygheh may not even stand the chance again since they have some players because of injuries. Even Manchester City experience this one time, any team that won trophies tend to experience worst season the next, look at how Liverpool performance is worst now.

Man City is second in EPL after Arsenal and it has the necessary strength to beat any team of EPL and they proved it by beating Arsenal. As far as Arsenal position in EPL is concerned they are in secure zone and very likely to win this title unless they deliberately start losing points in rest of there seven games. Man City can win EPL title only if they play exceptionally well in rest of there matches and also Arsenal lose points. This time Arsenal fans won't settle for anything other then a title win.

Everton were the only team that worry me but after they were defeated, I had assurance that arsenal would win the premier league title. I am not sure Arsenal are going to win that match against Manchester City because Manchester City will be in their best of form to make sure the don’t lose that game as they remain strong in the chase for the title with Arsenal. Every match is important for Manchester City and seeing how they prevailed against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final, they’ll be more confident that they can do anything to beat Arsenal and top them off the first position they’re currently maintaining in the title fight. Even if Arsenal ends up losing this match against Manchester City, winning every other match will still give them the chance to win the trophy. They don’t have a reason to do anything like that, and I really trust they don’t treat same mistakes as in the past as always.

Arsenal actually have a best condition to win Premier League title in four latest seasons, as in this season they have managed to create good point difference with Manchester City, and this is also supported by unpredictable inconsistency of Manchester City in this season so far. The season has only 7 more matches for Arsenal and they will only need to focus on each of their matches, and winning one more match will mean they are moving nearer to the title lifting day.

Manchester City will not give up in Premier League after leaving Champions League in round of 16 but I am very doubtful that they can make any big surprising change and take a trophy from Arsenal in this season, it's simply too late.

This is football and alot of things have gone weigh beyond expectations. This time, we just have to expect the very best from our closing ranging clubs. Mikel Arteta and Arsenal have been able to achieve something tangible and they're always going to match up bigger winnings as long as they're consistent this season.

I think it was more of shame from his own path because how do you explain such a loss, does it mean he can't win when it matters most against Pep's Manchester City? Why didn't he just lose from the beginning so to reduce and give his players rest when it's Carabao fixture time. Manchester City may try their best. But at the moment, occupying the top spot of the table is a much tougher task. Because in the upcoming matches, they will face strong teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa. It will be difficult for City to win these three matches. At the same time, Brentford and Everton are not weak opponents either.

On the other hand, Arsenal's opponents in the upcoming matches are relatively weak. But Arsenal is also fighting for the Champions League title. I understand that Arsenal is not known for winning many cups, but they did manage to win FA cup before, and the problem is that they do not win the league that commonly, but they have even won the league since they won the last EFL cup, so the only thing they have not won for 30+ years is literally just the EFL cup, and they could have gotten that this season with this game, but failed.

There are way too many games played, and every single one of them matters, so eventually you have to drop some and be bad, nobody can be great forever.

Liverpool won the title with the help of Slot last season. Liverpool should look for an experienced manager.

All the squad that are in Liverpool right now are very good squad that should be used to win trophies, what I’m seeing in Liverpool right now is that they don’t love the coach anymore so it is high time that the club sacks the manager and sign someone better that will work very well with the players, a coach should not be a coach only on the pitch a coach should be able to communicate very well with the players in an outside the pitch this helps a lot, if the coach is sacked today and Liverpool brings in a very good coach that knows how to manage the players very well Liverpool will start doing very well and they will get an opportunity to go to the champions league season. I still don’t know why Liverpool is keeping the coach till now, he should have been sacked for a very long time, Maybe the reason why they’re keeping him is because of the trophy he want for them last season, if it were to be Chelsea they would have sacked him for long.

Actually, I think they have a better squad than last year. However, they haven't achieved what they wanted this year. They haven't gotten the expected performance from the new transfers. Also, Mohamed Salah, who had an outstanding performance last year, isn't as good this year. Maybe the coach has alienated him from the game. That's why I don't see the Egyptian striker as the culprit. If anyone should leave the team at the end of the season, it's coach Slot.

The chances of Manchester City winning the EPL are low. Nine points gap is not easy and it would take three losses for Arsenal for City to catch up. With seven games to go, four wins by the Gunners might give them the EPL trophy. Arsenal's loss in the Carabao Cup finals is painful but I still believe that they are better than City. Nobody can tell if City must have improved in performance or not which makes the match still unpredictable. This was how I thought that Arsenal will win the finals but lost it woefully to Manchester City on clean sheet. Whether Manchester city like it or not this season trophy must definitely go to Arsenal because the gap is too much for them to bounce back, even though Arsenal can be quite unpredictable but there's no way they can let this opportunity pass out on them. Arsenal should be careful how they play defence. Today they were so much interested in defending than pressing or attacking especially in the second half and they let Manchester city control the game it was only a matter of time before Manchester city break the defence or force and error. I can’t congratulate Manchester City. Tbh I wanted Arsenal to win at least 3 trophies this season but fate had other plans. Even though it’s been so long since Arsenal won a trophy, the Carabao Cup is not a very important trophy so it’s not the end of the world. The players need to step up from today’s defeat and hold on to their lead in the premier league till the very last match day.

Give congratulations to whom congratulations is due, the outcome of the match might not have been what a lot of people expected but that is the rule of the game, it's always going to be difficult to predict, Arsenal fought a good fight this season and frankly they are still fighting, the Premier League would have been a nice win for them but since that didn't work out they can still channel their hope to a different league, their performance this season was commendable, if they perform this good next season then they might actually win.

Last season Liverpool team was in very good form and they fought with enough excitement and they played well in every match. However, this season Liverpool's performance has been seen as very weak and despite having enough good players in the team, their position is not very good. Although the team's coach has tried hard to keep the team in a good position with his strategy but it was not possible, he may be fired at the end of the season. However, Liverpool team must take measures for the next season so that they can arrange a good coach to maintain their dominance. It is not possible to take the team forward in any way without an experienced coach in the team, so Liverpool will have to make good decisions.

They dominated the epl last season and this season is a good example of change of dominance, Arsenal are taking the bull the horn and is working for them to become the next epl champions. Liverpool are like one of those teams that have start from scratch to get tobtgeir best of forms, they are weak and slow when it comes to attacking and that was what I loved about them last season but now they can't even force out the best of performance in Mo Salah, even the new players that we all thought would bring the best of the club are no where to be found, that is why teams like Bournemouth, Brighton even Wolves are matching up with them.

You are right that Arsenal is not a team for one to be too confident about especially when expectations are high from their fans in big matches but saying that Arsenal may not win the Champions League simply because they depend on set pieces is not a valid point. As far as i know, set pieces is part of the game and every team has a pattern they use in winning their matches so if set piece is working for Arsenal should they abandon it? So what will you talk about Real Madrid that wins some of their matches with penalty kick, isn't that a set piece too?

in my opinion Arsenal have been very lucky, and that's what's needed too, having an advantageous championship is important and if you're lucky like them then you need to get involved, that's important, having luck is the basis for success and what Arsenal had was luck but also a lot of courage to face very strong teams and win.

Arsenal might have lost the final of the carabao cup, but I don't think that will affect their form in the premier league,  rather it might even be a motivation for them to go all the way to win the premier league come May. I wonder why so many people sees it as the end of the world, because Arsenal lost to a good team in the final, for me it was always a 50/50 match and Manchester City had a better of them, which I think it's well deserved,  but like I said that does not change anything in the chase for the premier league title,  so I don't think Arsenal fans needs to panic, rather they should be proud of their team, even Pep Guardiola made it clear that he is happy to win against the best team in Europe and even sees Arsenal as the benchmark for other teams.
