all any team would do is hold down on Haaland tightly, and never allow his plans work, and at the end of the game, he'd have no powerful timing to score goals, or win games, Aston Villa defeat confirms how derailed Man city's playing strategy is right now.
So what do you suggest? Haaland would need a direct striking partner like Semenyo to help him when he's on a tight corner, the 3-2-4-1 formation under Guardiola which he rotates most times won't be a super follow up for city next season, a 3-2-3-2 formation would help them dominate the center still, and put a leg of assistance to the lone wolf - Haaland, to build up a more powerful striking opportunity. Semenyo or Doku would do the right thing when kept in this position, this will confuse the opposing team on who to hold down on, then empowering Haaland to work harder, knowing that he wouldn't need to save up more energy, trying to appear lazy, when a cohort is on his side to balance the pressure placed on him by oppositions.

It's a shame your prediction was wrong in this match,, because in the end, Aston Villa was the one who won this match with a score of 1-2. Although Aston Villa basically won by a narrow score, this is still a very good victory in my opinion. Because it indicates that Aston Villa's current performance is very good. So with that, it is certain that next season Aston Villa will definitely play very well. Besides that,, in this match, Manchester City actually played well too, but unfortunately they were unable to capitalize on all opportunities well, and in the end they were only able to score one goal in this match.
How certain are you that Aston Villa can replicate such performance they had this season for next season? There's no guarantee to this, remember they will be in a more fierce competition which is the champions league, they will partake in the Carabao cup, FA cup and of course the league, so technically does Aston Villa have the players that can work all round for these competitions. What actually drains some clubs that starts well in the middle is lack of squad depth, when fatigue and injuries sets in can they withstand it? Aston Villa are not in that level to have these quality players that can compete for these trophies. Let’s just give it to them this season. Aston Villa's last match with Manchester City proved to us that there are no limits to what small clubs can do, even in the face of uncertainty. The Premier League this season was awesome to some extent; most smaller clubs broke records, and even clubs that had failed to lift a trophy for 22 years finally did so. Therefore, Aston Villa’s expectations for better performances in the coming season are not really out of place. Abbitico, I understand your observation on the depth of players in the club and the need to work that out next season, but we shouldn't forget that new players will be in the pipeline to join the club during the next transfer window. I have always been a fan of "no small clubs" in football because I have seen how they make waves unexpectedly many times and Aston Villa and Manchester City have given me more proof of it. You can't underrate a club because of how small they are; football can differ. Another thing I notice is how these big teams just relax, feeling too confident when they have smaller teams to play, forgetting it's football and every team is getting informed each match they play. With the Aston Villa performers this season, I am rooting for them next season to do better.

So happy for Eberechi Eze. He won the premier league in his first season with Arsenal. And to think he almost signed for Tottenham. Madueke is also another lucky player, he won the club World Cup with Chelsea and has now won the league with Arsenal. A big congratulations to Arsenal on this well deserved victory and achievement. This is truly a moment worth celebrating for serious, they have been working so hard towards thier aim, I know all the fans or supporters are still celebrating this great achievements. Winning the premier league title had been a long-term dream for Arsenal club and the fans also, and seeing that dream finally becomes reality is something to jubilation on, I can imagine the kind of joy they feel at this moment. They actually proves many fans from other clubs wrong because they were saying Arsenal has been on this strategy for so many season and at the end of it they failed to meet up, even when they are at top standings, but this season Arsenal has shown us that, they aren't the Arsenal or the formal Arsenal that many people thought if, and indeed this is real Arsenal F.C. the trams showed consistency determination and strong fight throughout this season, showing that they are fully ready for this success, after years of patience or setback, Arsenal has finally reached top again and they deserve everything at this moment. Well played Arsenal.

There is no longer any excuse for Tottenham Hotspur not to learn from the conditions they experienced this season, they almost let their supporters down. What Tottenham Hotspur have achieved in the last 2 seasons is a historical record, because since the Premier League began, they have never been in such a bad position. They made history, but in a bad way.
Tottenham Hotspur had a very bad experience this season, and since they were able to escape relegation and remain in the Premier League, I believe they will learn from their experience this season and work towards not having such experience when the new Premier League season begins. They had a very bad campaign last season that they finished in the same 17th position they secured after their 1:0 win against Everton yesterday and were able to qualify for this season's UEFA Champions League competition by winning last season's UEFA Europa League competition. I was thinking they'll learn from their mistakes of last season and have a better performance in the league this season but no, they had to fight for survival till the last match day. Well, they now have an experienced manager in Roberto De Zerbi and I think the Italian manager will help them have a better and more competitive campaign next season, that's of the club management will allow him make important decisions without interfering especially during the summer transfer market. Tottenham hotspurs are finally still playing next season after winning a difficult match in my opinion, because Everton performed quite well. Their mistake why they are stuck in a similar situation is the wrong choice of coach, Frank failed to replace Ange and even worse they appointed Igor tudor, fortunately when Tottenham situation was on the doorstep of relegation, De Zerbi came, although Tottenham game still looks messy but Zerbi is quite capable of restoring the motivation of the players. Let's wait in the new season what changes they can show under De Zerbi command, and if there is still interference from management, especially regarding the selection of players, then they are still likely to undergo competition with similar results.

Tottenham finally managed to stay in the premier league. Joao Palhinha only goal earned them 41 points, meaning West Ham struggles last night were in vain, despite their 3-goal win over Leeds, they remain the last team out of the top flight. De Zerbi still has a lot of work to do, and I believe Spurs will be much better next season with Zerbi.
One other impressive thing in the last match last night was Man Utd victory, they still played seriously even though they were confirmed to qualify for the UCL.
In the end he was saved, but it was also a bit obvious that it was West Ham who would capitulate, a team that has never convinced at all, during the championship they played very gray matches, without colour, without soul. Instead Tottenham believed in it, and succeeded. Let's hope that next year doesn't end up being as bad as this one.

It's quite unfortunate that a team like Westham United just got relegated, if someone had told me they will be relegated in the beginning I wouldn't have believe that person, like it was really out of the picture, but my believe is if they don't sell out some of their key players they are coming back next season, unless they sell off their key players, but I strongly believe they are not going there to stay for too long, like Leicester, but if they should sell of those players then I must say they will have a long way to go, so I will advise them not to sell them off.

The first-half performance was enough for them to have a win and enjoy Premier League stay for another season. De Zerbi did an impressive job at the end, and his magic worked for Tottenham in 7 games as coach, with 3 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws. He did enough of a job. Tottenham will have a challenging time again in the coming season because things will not be easy while they surely do not have enough depth. Now it's time for De Zerbi to make positive changes and bring this club back on track in the middle of the league table. Todd Boehly needs to give enough power and funds to have players who can bring good times for Tottenham. Manchester United has surely done a good job and has the third spot. This is one of the best in the last few years for them.

You're right, no one expected the Premier League to be without West Ham next season even though they have survived for 14 seasons, but yeah that's the Premier League i mean the competition is very tight even a team like Tottenham was almost relegated. Talking about their chances in the Championship, I think they are still good and maybe they will come back to the Premier League next season regardless of whether they will release some of their players they are still worthy of returning. Several sources reported that one of their mainstay players, Jarrod Bowen, will remain with West Ham, his performance is very good and he is in the top 3 for assists.

This season was quite a bad season for Tottenham and it was a disappointing performance from the big 6 team. With the current players in Tottenham, I expected a more better outcome from them and not struggling to come out of relegation. It would have being really disappointing that Tottemham relegate to Championship stage and that would have stirred up a lot of drama in the club. I really expect that next season would be different and Tottenham would fight back for their top 6 position in the Premier league.

Well, one thing you can say about Eberechi Eze is that he’s a player who brings good luck and he himself has always been very lucky. He’ll now go down in history with Arsenal, a team that hadn’t won the Premier League title in a long time but managed to do so this season and yes, Eberechi Eze is one of the players on the Arsenal squad that won the title this season. If I’m not mistaken, last season he played for Crystal Palace. There, he helped Crystal Palace win the FA Cup. and he’ll be even luckier if Arsenal wins the UCL this season.

Prior to the match, I listed three matches I was watching out for, and Manchester City vs Aston Villa was one of them, especially as the match was taking place at Etihad stadium, and it was a brilliant display from Aston Villa. I never doubted the club, especially as the performance of Man City has dwindled and that of Aston Villa has significantly improved. If Aston Villa could continue this way, I mean this their late display and seriousness to the purpose and sport, even Arsenal will find it difficult to stop them.

United getting a victory wasn't really shocking because they were already staying at third, no way of becoming second and no way of dropping to fourth so they had no stress and they actually won with ease thanks to that. However, the Tottenham situation is definitely a bigger one, the fact that they managed to stay is a great one for them and I think it is clear that they are looking very good at the moment. Because with De Zerbi, if you look at the averages, that is looking nice. He has averaged 1.57 points per game there so far, which means if you calculate that over 38 games, they would have nearly 60 points and that would have them nearly at 5th place or 6th place. Which goes to show you that they did pretty great since De Zerbi arrived and they have a good potential for next season.

Manchester City was playing for nothing anymore in that match because they have already lost the premier league title, when you have nothing to play for your energy will be low and that was what happened in that match, however we can’t say Aston villa didn’t deserve the win, they played very well and they were expected to win, this season Aston villa has done very well but if they want to have a chance to lift the premier league trophy they need to do more because with this kind of performance next season they will not come close to the premier league title, Arsenal has more chance of lifting the premier league title next season and they can still do it because next season Manchester City will be in a building state because of their new manager, same with Chelsea but Liverpool are not inform so Arsenal are still the favorite next season.

West Ham United are relegated only because of there poor performance throughout the season. They might have good record in the past but this time they played terrible football, won just 10 games while lost 19 games. Since they are relegated they now have to play the second division and must perform better there if they want to play EPL in the future. West Ham could have avoided the relegation zone, if they have not lost three consecutive games towards the end of season.

Tottenham should be considered a lucky team actually because if you give a second look at the whole scenario, it is just obvious they got lucky not to have be relegated because they were already in the path to been relegated. Westham caused their fate. They had times when they would have been able to get some more points and keep increasing their chances of staying in the league, but missed out on it and it has now cost them a whole lot, I just wish them the very best.

Madueke is also another lucky player, he won the club World Cup with Chelsea and has now won the league with Arsenal. Not only will Madueke be happy for winning the club World Cup with Chelsea and now the premier league title with Arsenal, he’s also going to be playing in the champions league next season. Not only that, he’s also on the verge of winning the champions league trophy this season which if he had remained in Chelsea, this would have been one of his worst season since he began playing for Chelsea. Eze is a great player I adore a lot and to see him winning the premier league trophy with his dream team is one such of a wonderful thing, let’s see how things are going to be for him because I see him having the potential to win more trophies with Arsenal. He plays well and also skillful to some extent, that should help strengthen the frontline of the club in the coming season also.

A team like West Ham United got relegated but we thought maybe Tottenham Hotspur would get relegated. Actually if Tottenham had lost their last home game in the Premier League against Everton, I think they would have been relegated and would not have survived in the Premier League. Portuguese player Joao Palhinha has given Tottenham Hotspur the opportunity to play in the EPL next season, because you notice that in their last match of the 2025/26 EPL, this player scored in the 42nd minute and that was the only winning goal in that nerve-wracking match. We are happy that Spurs are staying in the Premier League next season but because of this team's victory, West Ham was relegated to the second-tier Championship.

Let's wait in the new season what changes they can show under De Zerbi command, and if there is still interference from management, especially regarding the selection of players, then they are still likely to undergo competition with similar results. personally, I have written Tottenham off as a team that is destined to play Championship for next season, but De Zerbi came and turned that fate around for them. Now can De Zerbi be for Tottenham what Carrick was for Manchester united? We would all be finding out next season, but he surely have started well, hope he continues at this pace.

I have always been a fan of "no small clubs" in football because I have seen how they make waves unexpectedly many times and Aston Villa and Manchester City have given me more proof of it. You can't underrate a club because of how small they are; football can differ.
Manchester City was playing for nothing anymore in that match because they have already lost the premier league title, when you have nothing to play for your energy will be low and that was what happened. You have a point, and it's often said, but that's still not an excuse for them, especially when it is being played at their home. If at all they didn't care about anything anymore, they should care about the home, or better still, play an entertaining match that will show their full potential even if it's casually. For me, though Man City wasn't so bad in that match, I see a better side that took football seriously. If Aston Villa was supposed to think like that too, they wouldn't have taken the match seriously, as the worst case scenario would have been to finish at the 5th position if they lose and Liverpool wins.
