Iraola is a great choice for Liverpool because he has managed to improve Bournemouth's performance, which was previously very difficult for them to achieve.. if Iraola could become Liverpool's manager, it would be a huge advantage for them, his combination of high-pressing and the depth of the squad would be a pretty good duet for Liverpool, who are actually used to a high-pressing model. so, Iraola might be able to optimize the players who underperformed during the Slot era, and perhaps we could see Liverpool become a strong candidate for the Premier League trophy next season.

Even if they won't perform well is good they let Arne Slot leave, he messed up the club after spending so much money to build a team, he won the premier League with Liverpool with the squad Klop left for him. He couldn't not get the right player for the club and that's why they will suffer next season, because new coach will try to get in his kind fo Players in to the team and it will take a process to be consistent with the team, we don't expect the New coach they will hire to perform magic.

I honestly don't think so, Slot did well with Liverpool, I don't know why we are dismissing Slot just after 1 bad season, his decision of leaving also is something I really don't understand either, but it is what it is.

Personally, I feel he should've stayed at least 1 more season to prove himself, u can't have it right always, some seasons will be bad, and some good. IMO, I think Slot is a pretty decent coach, and he will succeed wherever he goes, let's see what d next manager will do though.

I believe the death of D. Jota clearly affected Slot's game play as he was very instrumental to his success. Too bad he never saw his replacement despite having some cheap hopes on Isak who has been playing like he is on a fashion parade of some sort. I just saw it that he had a very bad campaign this season, I don't think he's such a bad coach, I only wished he was given more time to rebuild his team and prove himself once again, but sadly The management decided to part ways. They are closing on securing the deal with Iraola, I don't know much about him but I would love to see him perform well like you've pointed out.

Manchester United did an incredible job, they really did an excellent job, there's no need to do much witch hunting, there were some incredible lads here who played incredible football, this path was also wanted by the coach who found a way to make them play well together.

Your point is a very important reality in football because a club can have a good coach but may not be the right coach for the club, following the death of Diogo Jota and the ability to manage the dressing room during a tough time in the club really requires a strong leadership and what makes a coach stays or leave is the ability to have consistent results and tactics to help the team go far in a competition. For a big team like Liverpool they fans expect both attractive and competitive football the one that will ensure the club have consistent results but when fna s begins to question decisions and also key players in the team begins to get frustrated then, it's hard for the coach to maintain authority in that team. Many Liverpool fans will see Adonis Iraola as a natural fit for the club because of his high pressing and intensity and these are qualities that are associated with Jürgen Klopp so if Liverpool want to maintain their identity, then Iraola is someone who's closer to what the fans want to see even though succeeding in Liverpool means new level of pressure.

Slot would have to prove nothing, are you saying he would be winning the title next season, that's not certain, what happens when he loses the fight again? it's best he left the club and take a fresh breath, for a new manager to assume his office with a unique approach and strategy which may not have gotten overused by the club or understood too well by opponents in the league. If Liverpool gets a strong hold of a more tactical coach, the players are worth calling champions again.

Inasmuch as it's been established that Arne Slot had a very poor performance this season and deserves to be sacked, let's not forget that the Dutchman inherited a Liverpool side that didn't win any major trophy in Jurgen Klopp's last season at Liverpool and led them to win the league in his first season at Liverpool with making any significant additions to the team. If he can do that, it means he has all it takes to manage a big team like Arsenal. I'm just surprised that after the club management backed him to sign more quality players, he then failed to perform well.

I don’t expect Iraola to hit the ground running but I’m pretty sure Liverpool are going to see better days with Iraola than Slot’s era. He did well with Bournemouth and has a similar playing style to Klopp so we can expect Liverpool to return to their high pressing football next season.

From my perspective, Slot's success in his first season at Liverpool wasn't entirely down to his own work. He inherited a very strong foundation from Klopp, and all he really had to do was make a few adjustments to get the team over the line and win the EPL title.

But once Slot started reshaping the squad by bringing in expensive players like Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak, and several other big names, while letting Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez leave, it became more obvious that he still hadn't fully figured out how to get the best out of this Liverpool team. With all of that in mind, it's understandable if the Liverpool board doesn't want to take a huge risk by continuing down that path.

So don't expect Slot to take Liverpool to a higher level next season.

Salah was the only player who spoke out due to his passion for the club. Hope you know Konate has refused to sign a new contract for Liverpool. He wants to leave. Liverpool is the biggest club in England. The club needs someone competent, and Arne Slot has shown his incompetence throughout the season.

Carrick is doing very well in Manchester United, me I didn’t believe he was going to bring out Manchester United from hell, he did very well and one thing I also observed is that he is loved by the players and as a coach that is the first thing you should try to achieve, when the players love you believe me they will put in their best in every match and that is what is going on in Manchester United, Carrick has succeeded in taking charge of the dressing room.
Next season they are going to do very well and they will be contesting for the Premier league title, but I still don’t believe they will be able to lift it next season, they still have a lot of work to do. Arsenal are going to lift it again next season and no team can stop them.

Manchester United are very lucky to have signed Micheal Carrick as their manager, he has completely changed the team and has improved them overall in all competitions. Amorim was a great coach before joining Manchester United, but he was not lucky and ended his managerial role so early in that team. Micheal Carrick is a great coach from all we have seen from him, I know he will do well even in the champions league when they play in the competition next season.

It is not certain whether liverpool will spend a large amount  of money on players next season. Because this season, Liverpool spent around  480 million for buying  players. I have never  seen any other team spend so much money in the past. Anyway, unless the new manager is given a large fund, he will not be able to form the squad according to his  preferences. Mohammed Salah will not return to Liverpool after the FIFA World Cup so Liverpool will play next season without their best player of the last decade and one of the greatest in the club's history. Andy Robertson will also not be part of the team next season. Ibrahima Konate will not return after his World Cup duties with France, these are key players, so Liverpool will now have to sign players to replace them. Because of the money spent, people are forgetting that part. If he spent like 50 million euro and then did this, then they would have kept him around and gave him one more year. Because a team that became champions thanks to him that puts 50 million on it, could be anything, that's fine. But if you are champions, then spend 500 million, yeah that matters, that part is important.

Sure he had one good season and one bad season and you should not fire just because of one bad season but if that one bad season comes after spending so much money then you are going to get sacked. This is why managers need to be careful when making moves, it could be your end at the job if you are not careful. They spent 250+ million just on Isak and Ekitike alone, of course it was bad move.

I get your point that these players that are leaving the club might affect the team to an extent, but if the right replacement are done, it might not be a problem as long as the right coach is hired, and and those players that are leaving are replaced with top quality players during this summer transfer window.

This move was long overdue if you ask me. I was expecting this man to have been sacked since middle of the season when Liverpool were struggling badly. Slot tried his best but his best were not good enough for the job this only goes to show that the league that were won in his first season as Liverpool manager was not a true reflection of his tactical abilities. But he was still reaping the work that klop did while still been a manager of Liverpool. This is the first time in years that Liverpool will be finishing out of the top three in a very long time.

I don't understand either why some media and people saying about these news as a surprising one. The unexpected thing was to keep him although the failure management and the expensive and useless transfers. Additionally the team will lose the service of Salah and two defenders making things even worse for his successor.
From what I saw, Andoni Iraola is no longer training Bournemouth and several teams including Liverpool are trying to attract him. Other options are in the mind of Liverpool administration including Sebastian Hoeness from Stuttgart and Pierre Sage from Lens.

You are right any sports follower who will be surprised about what happened is not actually saying the truth if you ask me. Arn Slot failed in his duty as a coach. Liverpool struggled all through the season been the defending champions of the premier League. The right thing is for Liverpool to get a good manager that can take this team back to its former glory as for Salah he will be greatly missed because he is now a legend in not just Liverpool as a club but , the entire premier League as a whole.
