English premier League is not for the weak and if Xabi Alonso is thinking that the premier League will be easy for him to break into, then he's already making a mistake. With the exit of Pep Guardiola I think the next tough manager of the premier League is going to be Michael Carrick and if he repeats the performance he put up after arriving at old Trafford, there's every tendency that Manchester United will lift the title by next season. Xabi Alonso should first set taking Chelsea to the champions League spot by next season of which I think that would be a good achievement if he should succeed. The premier League now is right to say that there's no small team anymore with the rate Bournemouth, Sunderland, Crystal palace, Brighton and Aston villa is pulling weight in recent years. I hope Chelsea exercises enough patience with Xabi Alonso if not he may suffer early sack again as in real Madrid.

With the recent success of Arsenal and how the management of each club have seen how it can be beneficial to trust the manager through a process and not just get him sacked Chelsea would likely exercise more patience with Xabi than some other coaches. I recntly learned that they were not the ones that terminated their deal with Maresca but he walked out on the job. Whatever is true Chelsea here neede to give this new manager time to prove himself and to prove a points in the Premier League where he has played and gather experience from the past years.

Michael Carrick would have gone for players he could use and him being able to use the players he met at the club well is sincerely commendable but I still won't see him as someone coming to change and save Manchester united until after two or three seasons,  look at Arne Slot for example

Literally every team from the beginning of the season does play with a mind of actually contesting for the title but then along the line when they see that they cannot cope any longer, you see them trying to qualify for one European competition or the other by getting a decent finish. Manchester United did started with that mindset  having Amorim as the manager but the course of things later changed.

The appointment of Carrick as a coach for Manchester United was a turning point for the team. At a time the team was loosing hope on a decent finish this season, I think they would have even doubted if they were going to be able  to make it to the top five this season, but interestingly and surprisingly see where they are now, they made a very decent finish beyond  the expectations of others and maybe themselves too. Lal Manchester United players were collectively brilliant to have gotten the team the much they got.

Michael Carrick was indeed unexpected to bring Manchester United to this stage because at that time, Manchester United was underperforming, but ultimately, Michael Carrick was able to improve Manchester United's performance significantly I actually didn't expect Manchester United to perform so well, and I thought it would be difficult for Manchester Unitedd to achieve this ranking However, this certainly shows that Michael Carrick is the right manager for manchester United

Now I'm curious about Manchester United's performance next season, and I'm also curious about when Manchester United will play in the Champions League next season. I think Manchester United will definitely try to win the EPL next season and could compete closely with Manchester City and arsenal. Yes,, basically, even though it is true that Carrick is able to improve Manchester United's performance at this time, it is still uncertain whether Manchester United will perform well again next season or not. But even so, I also hope that Manchester United can perform well again next season, because basically if Manchester United is able to compete for the title again,, it will be very exciting. Because it has been a long time since I saw Manchester United able to compete well at the top of the Premier League standings.

I mean who would have ever thought that Leverkusen would ever win the Bundesliga title when there were more competitive clubs like Dortmound and Bayern Munich and whatnot, but Xabi Alonso made it possible for Leverkusen to be victors of the league..And I believe that if he can apply that same tactical intelligence to Chelsea, that Chelsea gameplay will  greatly improve this upcoming season...

       With the current state of Manchester United finished 3rd before the closure of premier League last season . I see Manchester United being an upcoming contender next season, expecially fact the new manager Micheal Carrick who has  totally transformed philosophy of team and has brings out the best of players after the sacking of the previous manager amon.
       
         All the Manchester United need to do properly if they truly want to be a true contender next season, they should try fix Thier midfield by trying add some quality player and withr additional attacking options upfront along with some defenders then I think they're all good to go next to challenge for the tile next season with the legs of arsenal Manchester city who the big rival's come next season.

I think a change is necessary even if he has been really prolific even with a team that to be honest is not very strong, clearly a team of Liverpool's caliber needs to at least try to change manager to try something new, which could benefit the team.

change is part of and is necessary to make things go better, not everyone realizes this, i know that, but i must say that changing coach is something necessary to have the chance to try to win again or go back to doing so, even if it is not always the right thing, dismissal is necessary.

When Carrick was appointed a lot of football fans were saying that he isn't good enough to manage the team and they kept on comparing him with the previous Coach based on experience and achievements but it turned out that Manchester United ended up becoming the best version of themselves this season. Can't wait to see how they perform next season.

With how poor Manchester United was when Michael Carrick was appointed as the interim coach he lack the experience to liberating Manchester United and make Manchester United finish in good position, that was the main reason football fans were saying that he is not good enough to manage the team but it is good he was able to finish in the top 3 and prove everyone who did not believe in him at first wrong. Even as he has been given a 2-year contract with an option of 1 year extension some Manchester United legends are against that decision even after he performed so well as interim coach, but i believe he still perform well and prove those legends wrong.

Chelse is a very free minded club in the first year of most coach contract with them but if the position the coach took them was low they use the next season for there conclusional test on the coach and it doesn't matter if they agreed for long contract they would terminate it even if is a season and half because that is also how the story of Enzo Maresca and Chelsea was, when he could not even coached half of his contract. Manchester United would have been among the favorite teams to win the Premier League last season, but it took them a long time before they could sacked Amorim, it was also a good decision to sacked him and Carrick took over. I think Arsenal should be lucky that Manchester United did not get a top manager like Carrick from the beginning of the season, Manchester City on the other hand were not in their best form since the start of the season.

Chelsea will be different from what Carrick did at Manchester United this season, Chelsea lack the quality players who are ready to do everything for the badge. The Cheslea squad we watched at the end of the season was not good enough to rely on next season, they need to bring more players to compete for the title.

I don’t know what quality you’re looking for, were they the same players that started the league greatly before everything turn around? Chelsea problem wasn’t directly from the players. I’ll blame the management for making wrong decisions and sacking coach that were trying to  build a club no team will like to play. Was it not this set of players that won PSG at their peat form 3-0 at the club World Cup final? Although injuries contributed but it’s still not a reason to put at that poor performance in the second half of the season. I hope sleep sign two wingers and one more midfielder when the transfer window window open and sell out gittens as he has nothing to offer.

This was the same players they used from the start of the season. In my opinion, Chelsea problem started when they were getting too much red cards, mostly in any game they played under Maresca, perhaps that was the reason why the management think they should sacked him and hired Liam Rosenior from Strasbourg, thinking it would be best person to build the team. To be honest, Chelsea will find it difficult to get a better manager than Maresca at this point.

However, Gittens isn’t the only left winger Chelsea should sell out during the transfer window, despite the fact that he couldn’t be at his best due to injuries. Garnacho has done nothing for Chelsea since he joined the club. These are not the attacking players they should rely on next season, and for the midfield, they also need to strengthen their midfield with more players.

The club management can provide short-term targets, but can they give what Xabi is asking for in this transfer market to build the desired team? The targets must align with what the club provides. If the goal is just to see an improvement in performance, Xabi can achieve that even with the current team. But if there are bigger targets, I think it is reasonable for Xabi to request some players that he wants to bring.
