The club management can provide short-term targets, but can they give what Xabi is asking for in this transfer market to build the desired team? The targets must align with what the club provides. If the goal is just to see an improvement in performance, Xabi can achieve that even with the current team. But if there are bigger targets, I think it is reasonable for Xabi to request some players that he wants to bring.
As all new head coaches, Xabi Alonso will ask for some new players to start his management and era in Chelsea but the club already have many star players. What they lacked of in the last season is combination among players and coaches, tactical issues and perhaps lack of motivation for playing well. While they got some unlucky player injuries that affect player appearances and contribution quality in the last season. Xabi Alonso will need some new players, work with medical team for better player care in a next season, and surely enforce his tactics on players in Chelsea. He is a very smart coach, and a quick failure in Real Madrid is a big and valuable lesson for Xabi Alonso for a more successful management in Chelsea.

The current Chelsea management aren't known for trusting the process so I won't be surprised if they decide to sack Xabi Alonso less than 6 months into next season if he fails to deliver the performances they want. Thomas Tuchel after winning the UEFA Champions League in 2021 deserved to be given more time after the team starting underperforming but no, they sacked him. That said, if they can exercise patience with Alonso, I think he'll do very well.
Chelsea management will need to exercise patience with alonso so that he can be able improve Chelsea performances. Xabi Alonso can do better at Chelsea because if they don't trust him, they wouldn't have given him the job but they must exercise patience with him.. yes Chelsea is known for their impatience with coaches they must stop it and allow the coach to do his job because strategy also needs time to work.

Based on the latest news, it is said that Chelsea will only bring in 1 player to fill the CB position. They don't have any other competitions, only local competitions that they will play in, so they don't really need any fantastic transfers. Liam Rosenior & Calum McFarlane has destroyed Chelsea, I hope that with the arrival of Xabi Alonso, he will bring new spirit to the team, being in the top 5 next season seems possible.

I hope Chelsea exercises enough patience with Xabi Alonso if not he may suffer early sack again as in real Madrid.
With the recent success of Arsenal and how the management of each club have seen how it can be beneficial to trust the manager through a process and not just get him sacked Chelsea would likely exercise more patience with Xabi than some other coaches. I recntly learned that they were not the ones that terminated their deal with Maresca but he walked out on the job. Whatever is true Chelsea here neede to give this new manager time to prove himself and to prove a points in the Premier League where he has played and gather experience from the past years. Arsenal is known as a team that has a philosophy (Trust the Process), this is the reason they always give full trust to the coach. Just look at Arsenal in the Arsene Wenger era (1996–2018), the management gave him full trust to build the team slowly, even though Arsenal had difficulty winning trophies due to losing out to its rivals, Wenger position remained safe. Arsenal had a difficult time after Arteta was appointed as Wenger successor, but Arsenal management gave him full trust, and finally Arsenal managed to win their first EPL trophy in 22 years. Chelsea management must commit to giving Xabi Alonso greater control over the team's restructuring to bring the team back to competing in the Premier League. Support and trust are crucial to building a process, and Chelsea management seems to have to adopt Arsenal's philosophy. Xabi Alonso must be involved and given full authority in the transfer market to ensure team stability. I believe a new era for the Blues is about to begin under Xabi Alonso, with a major overhaul of the squad to bring Chelsea back into the title race.

But Chelsea and Arsenal are different, Arsenal management might be really patient with Mikel Arteta even though he failed to give Arsenal the title several times, while Chelsea management is not as patient as Arsenal management, they will immediately fire the coach if they don't meet expectations. Chelsea expectations are to at least win one trophy or at least finish in the top 5, even that is still not enough for Chelsea and in the end they fired the coach so the dismissal of the coach is sometimes not only caused by a lack of good communication, so I hope Chelsea management can change their attitude so as not to change coaches too often because in the end, every coach definitely needs time to adapt.

Iraola is a great choice for Liverpool because he has managed to improve Bournemouth's performance, which was previously very difficult for them to achieve.. if Iraola could become Liverpool's manager, it would be a huge advantage for them, his combination of high-pressing and the depth of the squad would be a pretty good duet for Liverpool, who are actually used to a high-pressing model. so, Iraola might be able to optimize the players who underperformed during the Slot era, and perhaps we could see Liverpool become a strong candidate for the Premier League trophy next season.
Iraola is no doubt a very capable and talented coach and he has a really impressive history of his coaching skills. Iraola is the one who is makes himself more capable and reliable by bringing many significant improvements in the Bournemouth team. Because he really transformed the team into an aggressive energetic and strong club from their very dull conditions. So, on that basis it is expected that Iraola will manage to make the team performance better of Liverpool. And Liverpool will do better in the next season under his supervisions because he has a very imapctful tactics which really works on Liverpool. And now the fans and others are showing a very huge confidence towards iraola that he will do his best but I think there are multiple things which are responsible for the good and the bad of the team. So, let's hope that he will be successful to bring the team in their brighter zone.

Given the length of Xabi's contract, it appears this is a long-term project. This suggests that Chelsea does not expect Xabi to deliver immediate results for the team, but rather that he will slowly and steadily build the team using the experience and resources provided by the club. So, in my view, if Xabi is able to lay a stronger foundation for Chelsea, we may well see the team perform better than in previous seasons. Hopefully he won't disappoint again.

It's their initial plan for working a long term with each other but in football nowadays, changes can appear anytime and completely opposite to the initial plan. Depends on Xabi Alonso management and quality, they will continue with each other till the contract expiration, then expand it in the middle or sign a new contract. Oppositely if results are bad enough, disappointment and pressure will appear, then if things won't be improved after a while, Xabi Alonso will be sacked. It happens with many head coaches, at any clubs, not only in Liverpool and Xabi Alons will not be an exception. He must work hard to secure his job, as the long term contract does not guarantee that he won't be fired.

What do you mean, "again"? Almost everyone blames the players for his dismissal from Real Madrid, there's a consensus, so to speak, and I see that many people have a positive view of his work at Real Madrid. I think at Chelsea he'll have full authority to manage the players. As for goals, no one will wait for several years. Chelsea clearly needs to be in the top group no matter what, and next season, when they're missing out on European competition, is perfect for that.

Chelsea is a team that under performs when you least expect them to and my reason for saying that is because they might be doing well for a period of time and all of a sudden they would switch up to performing poorly, this has been a regular thing for them. Xabi Alonso is an excellent coach and there is a chance that he is going to make significant changes that would improve the team next season.

I think Arsenal has proved that it's important to be patient with a manager, because what are is doing now is based on the trust and patient of the board with Mikel Arteta, and we can all see that they are reaping the benefit now. I think Chelsea needs to learn from them and also give Xabi Alonso the chance to build his team, they should not expect him to go win the trophy next season, but they should back him up and let him build a team that can contest in all front. I really think Alonso is a decent manager, but the problem will be with the Chelsea board, if they will be willing to give him time.

Chelsea was never in a good form, the fact they were lucky to win some few matches doesn't mean the club was in form. It is only those that never saw this . Would be surprised by how they finished the season. Xabi Alonso for sure is a good coach and all Chelsea fans is hoping that he make a great change that will change the team performance this coming season.

When Carrick was appointed a lot of football fans were saying that he isn't good enough to manage the team and they kept on comparing him with the previous Coach based on experience and achievements but it turned out that Manchester United ended up becoming the best version of themselves this season. Can't wait to see how they perform next season.
With how poor Manchester United was when Michael Carrick was appointed as the interim coach he lack the experience to deliberate Manchester United and make Manchester United finish in good position, that was the main reason football fans were saying that he is not good enough to manage the team but it is good he was able to finish in the top 3 and prove everyone who did not believe in him at first wrong. Even as he has been given a 2-year contract with an option of 1 year extension some Manchester United legends are against that decision even after he performed so well as interim coach, but i believe he still perform well and prove those legends wrong. I do agree that Carrick became great after that famous two games in a row win over Arsenal and City. That was back when we thought he was interim, he did not have the job fully, but then just as he started, he won those games back to back and that made people question, maybe he should not be interim and maybe he should stay for good. And then he kept on winning more and more and more, and took the team to third place and finished there, which of course saw the team give him a full contract instead of keeping him as interim in title. This summer he is going to sell some players that he doesn't need, and he is going to buy some players that he thinks will be good. They will have summer camp and improvements. Lets see a full season with Carrick can do.

Chelsea has no option than to be patient with Alonso. They can't think of sacking him in no time when they are being criticize seriously of sacking their coach within 6 months. A club that wants to build its team won't be sacking its coach within few months, they won't make out a good team with such approach, making the players to be groom with different football tactics each time. That has been the mistake of Chelsea management, I feel they want to correct it this time to give Alonso the time to build the team, and to bring back the team glory

Chelsea really needs to understand that Alonso is not coming to perform magic because modern football requires a team that's well connected and understands themselves well in terms of the system of play and tactics and all these will take some time for the players to adapt to because the players will have to take time to understand and perfect the manager's style of play. Chelsea is known for changing coaches very quickly if they don't see the improvements they want to see in time especially if he is successful elsewhere and failed to bring that level of performance to Chelsea, the whole fan base and board will frown at such manager and that's why if Chelsea really believe in Alonso, they should try and give him enough time to handle the team and improve them with time. Chelsea is a team that has what it takes to compete at the highest level but they will really need patience to allow Xabi to build something solid for the club that will last a long time.

I m very sad about Mohamed Salah leaving Liverpool FC. I think he has been the main attacking force of the team for many years. He is not only one of the best wingers in the world but also a great goalscorer with incredible accuracy and consistency.
The biggest question now is who will replace Salah. Liverpool should try to sign a top quality winger or striker who can have a similar impact. If they fail to do so, it could be very difficult for them to maintain the same level of attacking performance. Looking at the current squad I do not see anyone who can fully replace what Salah brings to the team.

Therefore, Chelsea should be patient and give the manager plenty of time. The Spanish manager had a very successful period with Leverkusen. In my opinion, he wasn't too bad with Real Madrid either, but he was dismissed too early. Now he's in the Premier League and fully prepared for the competition. He's accepted a tough challenge with Chelsea. Qualifying for the Champions League will be his first goal. After that, he can think about winning the league title. Let's see who he'll want to sign during this period.

What you said is true. For Chelsea to get the best from Xabi Alonso, they need to be patient with him in order for him to build the team to perfection. They should allow him handle the players and make his decision on the pitch so that, Alonso can achieve the expected results Chelsea desires from him. They shouldn't also put him under pressure.

The reports say some of the senior players at Real Madrid weren't just happy with Xabi Alonso's reign as the club manager and decided to frustrate him out of the club. Another report said the club president didn't let Alonso to decisively take actions against the said players because they were deemed "untouchable" at the club. These are rumours, none of them came from an insider. I don't expect anything similar to happen at Chelsea. I believe the Spanish gaffer will succeed at Stamford bridge
