Chelsea actually need to stop changing their coach without giving enough time because the result will not come as the fans and the managemnt want it to be. Must be a gradual process before he get the team back to a good performance as all the fans want.

So Alonso need to make sure things workout between him and Chelsea,  so he will stay for a long time, because I know Chelsea if he unable to make things workout for Chelsea they will definitely sack him.

It was a great celebration into the camp of Arsenal because despite all the challenges they went through this season they still came out to win premier League title, if Arsenal team want to win next title, I think the president have to budget some huge amount of funds to hire some players because a lot of teams will challenge teams to make sure what happens this season will not happen again, many teams will definitely going to prepare more than the way they prepare last season, but many teams will surprise some big team that are not well organized.

If we talk about the challenges faced by Arsenal this season, namely the tough competition in the Premier League or in the UCL, because other than that, I don't think there is anything more difficult for Arsenal. Besides that, regarding buying new players, I don't think Arsenal needs to buy many players this season, because basically their performance is already very good at this time. So, for that reason, Arsenal doesn't need to buy more players at this time. Because basically, if Arsenal buys a large number of players, it will certainly make Arsenal's performance worse.

Because certainly when many new players arrive, it will certainly make everyone have to adapt again, and that adaptation is what will certainly hinder Arsenal. Seriously the way Arsenal was winning most of their games back to back nobody’s expected them that they will not win more than one trophies this season because their performances was very impressive in the league, which is why everyone was hope for them to win more than one trophies. But unfortunately it was happen that’s why they said that the football is unpredictable, nobody can tell what will be the actual outcome of the season.

Yeah, Arsenal didn’t went through any challenges their season was a bit better than last seasons that they only finished up in the second position. If you look how their performances go well in the champion league nobody will believe that they won’t win the champion league join.

In my view If Arsenal had played Champions League final the way they did at the start of the season, they would have beaten PSG. Probably domestic matches and the pressure of conceding the title to Manchester City at the end wore them down, so their potential to win Champions League was not realized, although they came very close.

Pep Guardiola rise the hope of Manchester City when he came, everyone knows that he is a very good coach but they doubted him on bring Manchester City to the top for many seasons.

Pep Guardiola is a good coach, he has experience, he has a good character and he has good strategies.
It's not always the manager's fault if a team doesn't break through, meanwhile Manchester City are always there at the top of the table, there is obviously more to change.

What a coach needs is to be trusted by the management when they accept an offer to coach a team. Sometimes many managers don't give their players enough time. However the management's faith in the Spanish coach has paid off this season especially as they reached the final their first appearance in a final 26 years ago.

I don't understand why the management fell out with him but they should've trusted the process with him and tried to get their signings right in this transfer window. I can't wait to see what Xabi Alonso has to offer.

If Chelsea are up there like arsenal in the past five seasons competing effectively for the English premier league title, do you think that they will sack the manager, even though he has failed to win it?
No, I really don't think so because aside the fact that they have been trophyless for sometimes now, they have shown enough reason to be hopeful.
Though Chelsea have a standing policy whereby is either you win or you are shown the door, so I don't expect that to change anytime soon, but I think that xabi Alonso will be given like two seasons to prove that he can deliver, so the ball is in his court right now.

A lot has happend since Enzo Maresca left, the management have now get to see that they need to be less involved in decisions making about what player to sign and what Player should play, it among the reasons why they made Alonso a manager instead of a coach. They knew they were running the club the wrong way and they have decided to do better. For sure there is a lot of expectations on Alonso, let just hope he will deliver.

I was also among those people that was angry that Maresca left the club, he was doing great and Chelsea was having that winning mentality but it was all cut short. The management have now decided to invest in both experienced and young players, so we should see a better Chelsea next season.

As someone who has worked with pep guardiola I don't think maresca would deviate from what he has learnt during his time at manchester city.. maresca learn alot from guardiola so if chose to follow his own path by abandon pep legacy he might not succeed at manchester city because the players are already used to guardiola pattern of football so introducing a separate pattern from the one they are already used to may cause them to underperformed next season. Guardiola is one of the best coaches in the world, both technically and tactically. He played a huge role in bringing Manchester City to this level. Chelsea don’t give their managers time, Alonso will have to start the season or he’ll get sacked like all those before him.

I think a reasonable first season would be to achieve CL qualification.

Football clubs like Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United not involved in any of the big European Competitions could possibly make it to the next Champions league or European Competition, I will be so much invested in them.

Xabi Alonso is a great manager. Caicedo is one player who will thrive under him. I'm so keen to see his development under him.
