Arsenal's defend technics saw too tough for PSG in the first half but it seems Enrique figured out that the best way they could equalize was to commit an Arsenal defender in their box and they did it perfectly through the weak angle of Arsenal's defence which was Mosquera's wing. Although Arsenal tried in holding the game to a full-time draw, it's something I never expected.

Arsenal's biggest mistake in that finals was going fully defensive after they got a goal because they would have gotten more goals if they had came out and played with gut, but they decided to play like a headless chicken's that is afraid, forgetting that they were also the champions of the English premier League.

I wasn't really happy with arsenal because I believe that they threw that victory away by playing too defensive when they have the weapons to hurt PSG if they had played their normal game. I just hope that Mikel arteta learns a big lesson from it because hoping to win on penalty is not the best way to be a European champion.

Still on the champions league finals definitely I thought as much because I was discussing with a friend and I told him Arsenal will play all defensive against PSG. Arteta fixed the match in this pattern, watch the players he used both in first and second half then you’ll observe Arsenal team wanted to use PSG most common weakness against them, that’s a very valid point and there’s absolutely nothing wrong about that but, the moment I knew Arsenal might not win although at that moment every prediction made was under probability. Honestly, it could've be a win for us, but Arteta change the game to a defensive game. Thinking that will be the best option,  although it was a good decision but was too much and that was what actually result to that result.

I believe Arteta will correct his mistake next time he won't try such thing again, because we already been hope that we are winning the champions league final, but football is full of surprises so we just have to let it go, next season we are coming stronger.

The game just happened to not be in favour of Arsenal that day. If there was no penalty given to PSG, Arsenal would have defended the game throughout and would have won the champions league trophy that day. The game was decided by a penalty kick and it is very normal that any team can win that by luck. PSG played well to dominate the game but Arsenal also did well to defend the game well, so i would say they both deserved the win but in the end the lucky team won the trophy.

I agree with you, and Arsenal is by far the true winner of this match. PSG was below average in this game they couldn’t even score in extra time. I don’t understand why people are praising a team that won the match on a penalty kick. We saw Arsenal play some very tight football in that match. Up until the penalty was awarded in the 64th minute a terrible call Arsenal had been dominating their opponent. If the penalty hadn’t been called or if Mosquera hadn’t been put in the game at all, Arsenal would have completely crushed that much-hyped PSG. However, since the result is what matters in football, Arsenal was perceived as having failed.

They will definitely not abandon the tactics that brought them the Premier League title + the Champions League semi-final + the Champions League final in 2 years, what are you talking about?  Their game is irritating, but under the current circumstances it is effective. Perhaps everything will change in a season or two (just like City's football also became outdated very quickly), but for Arsenal to change, the preconditions for this must first be in place.

Manchester City is certainly a very ambitious team and they don't have the difficulty of hiring another coach at Pep's level even if he has done a great job to create the team at this level, it's clear that right now there are things to fix, and take the team forward as they want.

I remember when Barcelona signed Raphinha, many people didn't believe he'll turn out so good in the club but he's ended up being one of the best player in the team, Gordon is a talented player that can do well in an environment where the standard is high, moreover most players from the EPL go to other leagues and do better.
 I wish Gordon all the best and hope he do better in his new team but Barcelona still need a striker that can replace Lewandowski, they can go for Osimhen if they still have the cash to splash on a big player, looking at how they showed interest for Alvarez maybe they could have money for Osimhen.

Raphinha was arguably Leeds United's best player, he shouldered the team by consistently scoring goals and giving assist even when they battled relegation in 2021/2022. I don't think his quality was ever in doubt but a transfer to Barca which is one of the biggest clubs in the world comes with a lot of pressure and expectations. Although He didn't perform well immediately he got to Barca but with time, the right coach and system he proved he deserves to wear the no. 11 shirt and sometimes captains the side. His G/A of 38 goals and 24 assists placed him 5th in the Ballon Dior ranking last season (2024/2025).

Gordon is just 25 years old and has lots of years to perform and improve. He fits into Barca's system of high press and I believe he will do well. I agree that Barca needs a replacement for Lewandowski. But I think that is why they are buying other players to build a team that can create chances for that striker. I don't think Barca would opt for Osimhen because they declared interest in Julian Alvarez even the deal isn't progressing. Osimhen is 27 years I think they will prefer someone younger and also his wages and the clause in his contract would be a challenge. The same reason he didn't sign for Chelsea last season. It's a good thing Barca has become more careful in the transfer market and are now in the clear as regards to FFP issues.

Arteta defensive game is the best for them despite the fact that they were unable to win the Champions League. It took them to the finals for the first time after ten years and also gave the the long awaiting title they have suffered to win in four consecutive seasons. This shows that it's a good strategy, Arteta only need to make his attack as strong as his defense.

Yes Arsenal has already good defenders what they need now are good forward, especially wingers they need very good wingers if they can get that they will continue lifting the premier League title for a very long time, I don't see any team right now in the premier League that will compete with Arsenal in lifting the premier League, Arsenal is very inform and they are doing very well because they have a very good structure they are following.
I wanted Arsenal to lift the champions League title but they could not win it however I believe they have what it takes to win it next season especially if they sign good wingers.

Yes, Arsenal needs to buy a more potent striker and winger, because I think their forwards aren't very sharp right now. The proof is that the top scorers in the Premier League, in the top six, don't have a single Arsenal player in the squad. Therefore, I think this explains everything: Arsenal's forward line isn't very sharp. Therefore, Arsenal needs to overhaul that section and replace it with more potent players. Basically, now is the right time for Arsenal to look for and select good strikers and wingers.

The World Cup has started, so Arenal can look for them here. The players who have come to this competition are certainly all great players. So, it's certain that there are many good strikers and players. Therefore, Arsenal must not be careless at this time, because other teams are certainly eyeing good players right now. If Arsenal had won Paris Saint Germain it could have been very unbalanced because Paris Saint Germain out played them in the game and made more impact too. Arsenal was busy avoiding goals why Paris Saint Germain was busy pushing for goals. One team had a winning mindset why the other had fear from the beginning. They made the game boring and only wanted to depend on counter attack to win the game. Paris Saint Germain won the game and I think that it is the best team in Europe that won the European champions League.

In my opinion they are both on equal terms, they have two totally different playing styles but they are in balance.

Arteta defence strategy is working very good but I think if they can change that's tactics in the final matches I think the final match are not work in only defence or in attack they work mentally and phycology base . If you look at the final where psg are purely attacking team and Arsenal are purely defensive team . So already see the result where psg won the ain reason is psg can attack well but they are mentally strong and they know the phycology tactics of Arsenal. That's why psg won the ucl final.  But Arteta need to balance the defence in the final. Becuace you need think out side of the box.

In my opinion, Arsenal need a proper penalty area striker, one who doesn’t miss and who is more mobile than Gyokeres. There are two options: either they give Gyokeres another chance to prove he’s the devastating striker he was in Portugal, or they sign Victor Osimhen, who has proven himself to be a top-class striker across several leagues.

Playing defensively is actually also important because it concerns the resilience of the back area so that it is not easy to concede goals, but relying on defensive play is not enough, they also need to balance their attack so they can create goals to beat the opponent, hopefully next season Arteta will make Arsenal stronger and they also need to improve the front line area because from what I see Arsenal front line is not very productive.

Last season, Arsenal’s strikers did indeed score few goals from inside the penalty area. However, in my opinion, Arsenal doesn’t need to sign another striker because I’m confident Gyokeres can be a great solution. Arteta just needs to give Gyokeres plenty of playing time so he can reach his best potential and become the most lethal striker in front of the opponent’s goal. Besides, next season will be Gyokeres’ second with Arsenal, and he’ll surely have adapted well by then. We'll just have to wait for Gyokeres to prove that Arsenal were not wrong in buying him at a high price.
