Alonso can improve Chelsea performance despite that he's taking over the team in a bad state. He might not win the title this season or not but with his consistent work on the team, he can still win the title if he knows what he's doing. EPL is more competitive than the two leagues he has worked in. I believe that he is the perfect coach for the job.
I can say for sure that Chelsea will not win the title this season. They will not even try to win the title this season. Alonso will build a new Chelsea squad. His target this season will be to build a stable squad. To create a decent bonding between the players. And to bring some stability to the overall performance. If he can do this, then Chelsea's performance will naturally gradually improve in the following seasons. And Alonso will probably move towards this target. It should not be rushed at all. If Chelsea should have been in good condition at this moment, I may say that it is possible for Chelsea to win the Premier League title this coming season. But Chelsea's current condition is poor. Definitely, Alonso needs to rebuild the team, so I don't even expect anyone to say that Chelsea will win the Premier League title next season. I may not argue about other trophies, but the Premier League is going to be very difficult for Alonso. In fact, at this point, I have not seen Chelsea sign more players, so I am not even convinced that they will make the top four next season. Currently, Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool already have great squads, and they can still strengthen them further by signing more players before next season.

Xabi was more of a spectator at Real Madrid than a coach. No meaningful impact other than what Madrid already established. I will love to see him prosper at Chelsea but hey lower your expectations because he's gotten no much to offer.
I think Xabi had very bad luck; he was alone at Real Madrid and couldn't implement his work strategy because Vini got him fired. As long as Real Madrid continued to prioritize its players over the coach, they wouldn't be able to progress. Now it's different; Mourinho doesn't take advantage of anyone. Xabi will do well at Chelsea; I think the English see his level at a higher level, and that's important.

Will Chelsea not buy new players ? They spent a lot of money last season on signings. Chelsea have already made a decent amount of money selling players this season. Also, chelsea's owners are quite rich. They can afford to spend a lot of money on signings. I think Alonso is taking his time. He is trying to understand which players fit his strategy. And even then he will focus on signings and building the squad. I think chelsea will move towards some big signings even after the world cup is over.

That's certainly true, as big teams don't just look for players with good performances; their management will also look at other aspects, such as a player's discipline and attitude towards others, which could make them a potential purchaser for a higher price. Garnacho is clearly a talented player, so he just needs to be more disciplined and improve by honing his talents more often at any team, in this case, Chelsea. Competing in the Premier League isn't easy, especially if you want to be the best at a team that's currently not in good form.
exactly, being a good player is no longer enough in this sport, but it takes a lot of discipline, a lot of rigor, and a lot of precision, something that these modern football players don't have, it also seems to me that sometimes there is a great waste of talent on their part, great players who get lost.

Yea, he needs to focus on working on the team performance. This was how Alonso transformed Leverkusen from their weak state, they were able to challenge Bayern and ended their dominance in Bundesliga that season. If he spends more time with the team, nothing is impossible for him because he has the skills, knowledge and experience.

We all know that Alonso has a good record with Bayer Leverkusen, and even his record at Real Madrid was not that bad. However, the fact is that his performances were below many people expectations based on the kind of players Real Madrid have. They expected him to take Real Madrid to another level, but it seemed that Real Madrid performed worse than in the previous season.Because of that, people are wondering: if he could not perform so well at Real Madrid with world class players, how will he coach Chelsea, who do not even have players of the same quality as Real Madrid, and still deliver great performances? Another point is that the Premier League is more competitive than La Liga. Therefore, some people believe that he may not perform well enough to take Chelsea to the next level. However, I would also say that it is too early to draw conclusions about Alonso's performance at Chelsea because the season has not yet started.
the record with Bayer Leverkusen is certainly something that honors him and makes him a very strong coach in the environment, with Real Madrid he stalled because of his work which wasn't excellent, this one found himself with a team in front of him that doesn't deserve the slightest respect, and more character was needed.

Xabi could bring an unexpected surprise to Chelsea, because in the world of football, anything can happen, If we simply stick to the idea that "this is football, anything can happen," then even Leeds could surprisingly finish as runners up or even win the Premier League. But we're trying to be realistic here. Teams that want to achieve significant long-term improvement need to be more patient and give their managers time to build something successful (Arsenal is a good example of this). Unfortunately, Chelsea have often changed managers whenever things haven't gone as planned, and that's one of the reasons why some people are still skeptical about Chelsea's chances this season.

In fact, at this point, I have not seen Chelsea sign more players, so I am not even convinced that they will make the top four next season. Currently, Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool already have great squads, and they can still strengthen them further by signing more players before next season.

Xabi Alonso I also believe is taking his time before making those moves every fan of the club has been waiting for. The World Cup is still on and some of Chelsea's players are still in the competition so I think he'll check his options and the end of the tournament, know the current players that deserve to stay at the club, offloading those that'll be surplus to requirements before signing few players to increase his chances of succeeding.

As it stands now, I believe that garnacho Chelsea career is over because it's being speculated that he is not allowed to train with the first team, since xabi Alonso don't see him as part of his plan going forward. Instead they have told him to train separately and focus on his move away from the club because since he signed for the club he hasn't shown any sign of top quality, that's why I wonder what they found in him in the first place that made them go and brought him into the club, because it's very obvious that he is not that good enough to play for Chelsea. I heard that As Roma are interested in his signature, but that's just mere speculation, because nothing has been made official yet,so until then, we can't be too sure of anything.
this thing is a drastic decision that some coaches have to implement, they have no hope, they just have to do it, there are players who are not suitable for the project and this is something that must be decided in the end, someone had to tell him and Alonso i think he understood and told him.

I also share the same thoughts with you on Xabi's future with Chelsea. I believe Chelsea under Xabi's leadership will perform better than Maresca did because I feel the troubles Xabi faced in his previous team was a serious setback for him. Especially with Vini Jr and other club players fighting each other at any given chance they had. It disrupts the smooth ride Xabi would have gotten on the team. I wonder why they brought Arbeloa afterwards but it's their business to deal with. Now we have Xbi in Chelsea to manage players who should ordinarily respect his decisions and follow his lead so we expect less luggerheads here and more performance from the team given the history made by Xabi Alonso in Bayer.

It's never an easy conversation, but sometimes its part of rebuilding a club if a player doesn't fit the manager's vision moving on is often the besr decision for every on tough decision are part of football , a manager has to pilut the club future first even if it means making up unpopular calls.

It is a big loss for Chelsea to lose a player like Cucurella. He is a great defender. He is also performing well in the World Cup for Spain. But cucurella is not interested in staying at chelsea. And that is why chelsea management let him go. It is not that the management sold Cucurella to make money. Time is very precious, it is true. But reviving a team like chelsea that has been destroyed is a very difficult task. It definitely takes time. Alonso will have to be given a long time. And that is at least two seasons. Otherwise , it is not possible to improve the overall condition of the team.

You are right, on my own opinion I don't expect Chelsea fans to be expecting anything trophy for this coming season, because Xabi Alonso is taking over a disorganized team, and all he needs right now is rebuilding expecting a trophy from him is quite a heavy burden on him, he's definitely gonna win them something no doubt if given the time needed, but for this instance they should be expecting at least a UEFA Champions League competition comes next season that's if he gets things in order else he's still achieving nothing this season.

He obviously didn't get the absolute control over some of the senior players at Real Madrid and to make matters worse, Florentino Perez didn't give him the authority to sanction players that failed to play to his direction, that was why Xabi Alonso didn't do much as a Real Madrid manager. Now that he's at Chelsea where I believe he'll be allowed to make decisions the best suits his style of football, I believe he'll do much more better than we saw at Real Madrid. I'm expecting to see the version of Xabi Alonso we saw at Bayer Leverkusen

Honestly with Xabi Alonso in, I just want the Chelsea top brass to review there transfer ideology and actually remove that there issue with players wage value rather than transfer value. And I also understand that Xabi needs time to understand his squad but time is of the essence and they have already lost a big part of there team in Cucurella
Of course, Chelsea will not be able to return to being a top team in just one season. Too much has changed at the club over the past few years: new owners, a constant rotation of managers. In a situation like this, any manager needs time to build a stable team. With Cucurella leaving, it will be even harder to do. But if a player truly wants to leave, there is no point in keeping him at all costs. It is much more important to have footballers in the squad who are motivated to play for the club. I think if Alonso gets the backing of the board and works at Chelsea for at least a couple of seasons, only then will it be possible to objectively evaluate the results of his work.

Most top clubs give their big players some privileges. You don't expect a club that has spent a fortune on a player to allow a coach to destroy their investment. So many top players have instigated the club management to sack coaches. The best coaches in Madrid are those who were able to manage and not control players. It seems Xabi Alonso wants to be autoritative but he forgot tha Mdrid is not Leverkussen.

From a player who wanted to play for Chelsea, to a player who will be kicked out by Chelsea. I think Garnacho's time at Chelsea is over, and it's best for him to prepare for next season, as that's the most realistic outcome at this point. An offer from AS Roma or Napoli could be a promising one for him. At least he'd still be able to play in a league that remains competitive while giving him the opportunity to continue playing. There are also offers from the Saudi league, but I think Garnacho will maintain his career in Europe rather than move to the Saudi league.

Will Xabi adopt the same approach in Chelsea, that is be authoritative or do you think that he has learned his lesson from the Real Madrid job? Maybe we will see because if he has not learned his lesson, he is still going to face similar problems in Chelsea because they have players who have an ego too. Chelsea are currently in a delicate position on the Premier League table, They are in desperate need of improvement and if that improvement cannot come next season many of the fans will not be patient with the coach and they will start pushing for a sack immediately.
