Carrick did not have much of a challenge last  season. They have only struggled to stay in the top 4 of the table. They have only played on the premier league platform. But Manchester united will play in both the premier league and champions league platforms next  season. It is very difficult to perform consistently well in two such highly  competitive leagues.

It is very difficult to consistently do well in a busy schedule. Carrick is an excellent manager and he has already proved it. But Carrick has very little experience. So it is not possible to say for sure whether manchester united will be able to do well in the next season. Manchester united's squad needs to be  strengthened. Talented substitute players should  also be kept in  the squad. Then it is a bit easier for them to keep the performance stable.
You are right, busy schedules always put managers in a very tough position. Last season Manchester United only played in the premier league when Carrick took charge, they were playing once in a week and sometimes they even get to rest for a week or 2 when it the FA cup matches. Next season they will be playing in all available competitions, so I think Carrick will be facing a big challenge.

Well we still have to give him a chance to see how he will handle the busy schedule and pressure. So far with what he did last season he deserves be their manager for next season. Though there are some set of fans who believe a more experienced coach would have been better.

Manchester United will play on 4 platforms next season. And it is very difficult to perform well consistently in such a busy schedule. Manchester United will play on all four platforms - Premier league, champions league, FA cup and EFL cup.

The thing to watch is which platform Carrick considers the most important. Big teams usually compete for the Champions League and Premier League titles. But have Manchester united reached that stage yet ? It is important to strengthen their squad. At the same time, strengthening the squad does not guarantee that their performance will be stable.

Carrick should not focus on the champions league next season. He can compete for the Premier League, EFL Cup and FA Cup titles. The competition for the EFL cup and FA cup is less. But these are not such important titles. Premier League title should be Carrick's first priority

Mikel Arteta should fuming right ahead of the new season.

His first team players like Declan Rice, Eze, Saka, Madueke and Saliba are still being overworked as they remain in the tournament. With Gabriel Saliba injured in this on going game against Spain, I'm not a gunner but I can help but worry about how he will be preparing without his best players ahead of the Preseason, community Shied and opening game in the Premier League Competition. Tough times ahead for them.
It’s only natural that Arteta is angry and disappointed because several of Arsenal’s key players have been injured. However, I don’t think Arteta is all that upset because these players haven’t suffered serious injuries. They’ll likely only miss the first two or three Premier League matches. Besides, Arsenal has a deep roster, so other players can step in and effectively replace the injured starters. Therefore, I’m confident Arteta isn’t too worried about these key players being injured.

If Alvarez want to join Arsenal they will sign him but i don?t think the player will want to join them since he left premier league and join La Liga last two seasons and the aim is to join Barcelona where there are many young talented players who will supply him with many assists and score goals, Alvarez knows that he is a player that Barcelona want and it looks like the player and Barcelona have a good relationship and have a plan to play for each other in the future.

Arsenal have not even make a move for Alvarez because they know his deal will be very difficult to happen, moving to Arsenal will not be a bad move because Trossard has been signed by a Turkish club and some players are going to leave Arsenal and the club is ready to sign another players because they are the Champions of League, Atletico Madrid will prefer to sell Alvarez to Arsenal than Barcelona but the player is the problem that can make everything happen.

I don't think so either, the offer like every English club is good, they always make excellent offers which are also difficult to refuse, but i think that Alvarez in the end will not go to Arsenal, this is because i think he is also fine where he is currently and i think he will stay there for a long time.

Are you indirectly underestimating Manchester United? Like those that will be competing in those four competition do they have two heads? Or the Manchester United you are talking about is it their first time of playing four competitions at once? I don't just understand how you people look at Manchester United, don't be surprised Michael Carrick is going to prove you all wrong, I I'm certain of this I'm saying, and I'm trusting Manchester United wins a major trophy that will even surprise you more trust me.

I think it is impossible because this is not a FIFA friendly match and Arsenal players are defending their country so the club and coach must accept the risk, because the club will also get compensation from the country if the players who play in the World Cup can have a positive impact on the club and also the coach, so I think Mikel Arteta will not be angry with this news as long as the club can provide playing time for Arsenal's second-string players.

Atletico wants 150 million for Alvarez, Barcelona, after their ridiculous offer of 100 million, made a new one of 30, but it is unlikely that Atletico will be satisfied with this. Arsenal probably have the money to pay 150, but it's not their style to spend such a huge amount of money on one player, plus it's unclear how much Alvarez himself wants to play in the Premier League. Theoretically, such a transfer would be very useful for Arsenal, whose attack was struggling in the second half of last season.

Arsenal themselves don't have any money problems, obviously they try to do business, football is business and spending money intelligently is not a bad thing to do.
He probably doesn't even want to go play in Premiere, but they still need to invest in the attack, whether he or some other player, but it's necessary to get better results and give the team a boost.

You do not look at it long term then! These players will not get ill or injured at the start of the season but they will most definitely face fatigued and burn out in the future.
The first two to three game are not the issue, if they're not well protected, they could most definitely see important players not properly rotated out injured. As a defending champion, you don't want that do you?

Yes,, it's true that Arne Slott, in his first season as Liverpool coach, managed to lead his team to the Premier League title. But after that,, Liverpool's performance became very poor and they struggled to get into the top four in the Premier League. So, if we look at that case, I don't think Carrick will be like that. Because I think Carrick has a more mature plan now. So I think even if he can't lead Manchester United to the Premier League title next season, it's definitely not a problem, as long as he can maintain the team's performance, I think that's very good.

Because currently, even though Carrick has been labeled as an excellent coach, because he was able to bring Manchester United to get a ticket to the UCL, we basically don't know for sure what Manchester United's performance will be like next season. So, that's why I don't think we need to hope that Carrick can lead Manchester United to the title next season. Because I believe Manchester United is still in the process of building their team to be even better, so burdening them with too many targets will actually have a negative impact on their performance. So, right now, we shouldn't expect too much from Carrick.

In fact, i don't understand how it's possible that the same recipe no longer works, something i really can't explain.
Obviously we are waiting to see the most mature plan, but my expectations are low, morale is low and i really see a negative outlook in this regard.

Yes that is right Arsenal that are not in financial trouble and can still afford to pay right amount if they want to sign major player. It is uncertain whether this is wise investment when other team areas may be ready for investing. If it comes down to it, it would all depend on player, as far as Alvarez is concerned. Despite Arsenal interest, he has felt comfortable in Catalan capital in last couple of weeks but there has been some reports saying he may be heading for Gunners. In attacking zone, there is clear need for bit more from Arsenal wise however. It could be Alvarez or another big forward, front four could be big key in what will be close contest up for title.

It's not about not having the money, fans shouldn't expect them to overpay for someone that could end up being a bad business for them in the future, if they're spending such amount on a player his impact should be great, like scoring more than 20 goals in the league but i doubt Alvarez would be able to do that, he might score up to that amount in all competitions but not in the Premier League alone. Arsenal needs to be consistent in winning the title and a strong defence alone won't be enough to make it possible they need a powerful big name, although those kind of Strikers are rare and the only cheaper alternatives are Victor Osimhen, Jonathan David and Mikel Oyarzaba.

A team that has not won Premier League in 20 years bought rice for $100m can never be poor, they have many sponsorship deals and are making money from their fans, they have the biggest loyal fans in the whole of Europe because you can tell me they have won nothing yet the fans buy ticket to come watch their match, they are incredible and unique which is why club usually don't make loss even when they have nothing to show with the club.

I want to see Arteta put more pressure on how he won this league even bigger, he bought players even though he never won the league, now they have won they should not relent to be not buying players. It's even now he need ones that may leave soon and don't want to be with the team for another seaso. It will be so bad for the team not to have another succession of the Premier League, after everything they have done in the last season when they also won Champions league.

The thing is that people will definitely have something to say but do not take it too serious, Carrick had come to help the club, we saw what he did when he came last season, Manchester United improved very well in their performance and anyone saying that they can not handle the pressure that comes with playing in four competitions should not forget that there are many teams that will be playing those four competitions this season that Manchester United is better than, so why then belittling a team that might likley do more better considering their performance towards the end of last season, one of the teams that I know that will play far beyond peoples expectations next season is Manchester United and I won't be surprised if they do because I already know that they will.

So that's why I think currently Arteta's task at Arsenal is only to implement that strategy and I am very sure that Arsenal will be a team that is difficult to beat by any team in the Premier League. And besides that, Arsenal may need to look for another forward to complete their squad to be even sharper next season.

But in any league and every season teams think about improving, which then the result may never be what they think, but they all have excellent expectations.
Premiere next season should theoretically be even more eventful than the previous year, Chelsea are looking for redemption, Arsenal want to confirm their supremacy, Manchester City will want to make up for what they lost, Manchester United are recovering and running like a train, it will truly be a fiery season, at least i hope so.

Alvarez responded quite unequivocally to the rumors linking him to Arsenal. He wants to continue living in Spain with his family and has no plans to move to England. Consequently, I think we can rule out a move to PSG as well. This implies that he would like to join Barcelona, and there are fresh reports that Barcelona is preparing a new offer for Alvarez, one that will be more attractive to Atletico than the previous bid.

Yes, Arteta wants to maintain their status next season as one of the strongest teams in England, so Arteta continues to monitor his players closely, especially maintaining the fitness of his players so that it remains optimal and strengthening the team through the transfer market so that it can be prepared as early as possible for his team to be stronger.
If Arteta wants to maintain their status next season, he must strive to maintain this season performance and maintain the physical fitness of his players. He must recruit quality players to strengthen their strength for next season competition, which will certainly be very tight. I see Man City making major changes to their squad and also having a new manager, as well as Liverpool with a new manager, so Arteta must prepare seriously.
I see Arsenal not making many transfers this summer so far, only center-back Piero from Leverkusen. It seems Arsenal wants to build a solid foundation in the back line, but Arsenal also needs to think about the attack line to be more productive next season.

Arsenal themselves don't have any money problems, obviously they try to do business, football is business and spending money intelligently is not a bad thing to do.

They did made a lot from last season,  so yeah maybe they should not have money problem now, since  they have the capacity now, it is only normal they spend it on the team to build the kind of strength the team will be needing to get better in the coming season.

There is no way Arsenal will not.be wanting to play the Premier League they just won after a very long time, they would even wish for a second win while  they chase at the champions league together.

Atletico wants 150 million for Alvarez, Barcelona, after their ridiculous offer of 100 million, made a new one of 30, but it is unlikely that Atletico will be satisfied with this. Arsenal probably have the money to pay 150, but it’s not their style to spend such a huge amount of money on one player, plus it’s unclear how much Alvarez himself wants to play in the Premier League. Theoretically, such a transfer would be very useful for Arsenal, whose attack was struggling in the second half of last season.
If Arsenal can get Alvarez, it will be a very good addition to their squad because Alvarez is a striker who has been targeted by big clubs, but the problem is that ATM has a high price for him and Arsenal is trying to get him at the best price possible. and from the news I read, Alvarez has opened the opportunity to play in the Premier League even though his current preference is to play in La Liga. but what is clear is that Barca or other La Liga teams will not get him because ATM will not sell him to their rivals.

They'll probably sell for 150 million. Seriously speaking, Atlético isn't even the second-best contender for the La Liga title, so such a sale wouldn't seriously hurt Atlético's chances (which are slim anyway), and money is money  Cheesy Incidentally, it's quite amusing that despite the Premier League's elite status, supposedly being the most prestigious and (definitely) expensive league in the world, many players prefer Spain because of the climate and quality of life. For example, Anthony blossomed when he joined Betis and, like many players, had zero desire to move to the Premier League.

It must be very disappointing for every gunner, especially Mikel Arteta to see William Saliba subed off in yesterday's match due to injury. Saliba is a very important player for Arsenal and to lose him to injury before the season starts is a big blow to the team. Arsenal also have a lot of players still involved in the world cup, which I think it's going to affect them when the season starts.  I understand that it's their job and I believe that Arteta will definitely find a way to cover for these players till they are able to rejoin the team.

The Premier League will start in August, precisely on the 22nd, there is approximately 1 month for the players to rest after the end of the World Cup competition, and I think that time will be enough for the players to regain their fitness and also for Arteta to prepare his team for the Premier League competition, but they have to sacrifice the pre-season match and the Community Shield, for these two tournaments, Arteta really needs to rotate, and the good thing is that their first match in the Premier League will be against Coventry City.

In my opinion, a month's rest is enough for these super athletes, in fact... making them stay still for any longer would be truly detrimental to their physical form.
Let's say that a month of absolute rest will certainly be able to regenerate them, after all they are really followed by doctors and physiotherapists.

With the way Manchester United ended last season you can say they’ve reached there to compete for all the titles next season but in order for Michael Carrick to do this they’ll have to sign new players cause a good squad depth is key for a successful campaign.

Maybe he can focus more on the premier league and try to be impressive at the champions league cos this are the two most prestigious titles and for a club like United they need Glory.
