As far as I know, Manchester City has been performing great in the Premier League, so I don't think it's worth worrying about because it's not a new thing anymore. Although, I wouldn't deny the fact that pep has been a great for them. In fact, he's still remains the best coach in the premier League. But since he will no longer be in charge of the team, that doesn't mean they'll find it hard to win trophies. I still have a strong feeling that they are going to do better this season. Anyway, let's see how it goes, because football doesn't always work the way we predict.

I still see Arsenal as the favorite to win the premier league in the upcoming season,  so I believe there is a possibility they will retain the trophy in the upcoming season.  They are definitely the most consistent and also a very stable team right now. Other top teams in the Premier League are either trying to rebuild or they just have a new manager,  that will definitely need time to implement his ideas, but Arsenal project is matured already, so I strongly believe that they will win the premier league in the upcoming season.

I don't have anything to say about arsenal winning the premier League because you can not be too certain there is actually a possibility but  we know how arsenal can be sometimes they will need to take things more seriously and except for players that they are trying to sign and that might even make things different but we can not wait to see they become better and when it comes to consistency arsenal should be given credit for that but there times that arsenal will disappoint and they will not do well and there fans are becoming very exciting.

But next season might be different but arsenal know what they are contending against and that is why they are trying to even sign in new players so that it will show that they are up to task,  and it is very important because they they are going to be finding it more difficult for them to win and the city boys are also available so any time they are mentioning arsenal they should also put the city into the consideration because it does not have to be about arsenal alone.

I don’t think Maresca is a bad manager but they are some shoes to fill, replacing Guardiola who has been a generational manager.

He is going to want to hope that he starts well because it is a very high pressured job at Man City.

Let's just see if he will fit in with the players currently on the team. Usually, there is quite a long adjustment period. Because we know Man City also developed really well under Pep. Maresca is coming to fix what was left by the previous coach, or he will gradually build his own team, with a style of play that might be different from what Pep used.

It would be almost impossible competing against an already built team that previously won the league title and would be hungry for more. Arsenal players are really performing well at the World Cup and that is enough to show what next season would hold.

With the exit of Guardiola, I don’t see that any Premier league team could stop Arsenal next season. But its the game of football and nothing is too sure with any team, because there are other big teams like Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea and the likes that should stand a chance for the league title so it's an open game and the best team should win.

Nobody, including Manchester City management will doubt the capacity of Maresca, we all know that even in the premier league,  he is an experienced coach as well as in other European competitions,  he is vast with his management skills and I believe Manchester  City management will be willing to allow him do what he knows how to do best,  he may not be exactly like Pep, but they are sure he will not disappoint them in their expectations.

Wow, I'd like to see that too. MU is showing a lot of promise now. I hope I don't get my hopes up too high and expect too much from this team, or as they say around here, I hope I don't get my hopes up too much about this team so I don't suffer a disappointment that makes me angry. I say this because it's happened to me. I know Carrick is one of the coaches who has done the best for MU, and if he keeps going like this, watch out because they can win the Premier League and everything else that comes their way.

You sound like a City fan who's confident no matter what happens. From my perspective, though, I think a lot of people see it differently. Maresca may have experience, but most of it came from being an assistant coach at City before doing a decent job with Chelsea. Managing Man City is a completely different challenge. The pressure is much greater, and there's always the expectation of winning the EPL, which can make the job even harder.

On top of that, the EPL is more competitive now. Teams like Arsenal and Man United are in great form and could easily stand in the way of Maresca's City winning the title.

Maresca failed in Chelsea and in Manchester City, he will have much bigger pressure because his responsibility is replacing a legendary generational manager Pep Guardiola as well as maintain the club success as same as what achieved by Pep Guardiola last 10 seasons. It's challenging and not easy with all head coaches, not only Maresca but after failing in Chelsea, he will have more pressure to prove his capability this time.

Before having jobs in Chelsea, Maresca was a head coach in Parma, then Leicester City from 2021 till 2024. He failed at a big club he has ever managed, and this time he will have a second chance at Manchester City.

Maresca isn't an inexperienced coach but coaching a Manchester City side that's constantly in Pep Guardiola shadow isn't easy, especially as he's trying to implement his own strategy rather than continuing the strategy previously implemented by Pep Guardiola. There are two possible outcomes success and failure.

When a team sticks with one coach, and in this case, Pep Guardiola because of his long tenure at Manchester City and his immense success, it's usually difficult for the team to succeed under the next coach. I say this because there's an example of this, like what happened to Manchester United after Sir Alex Ferguson left. Manchester United needed several new coaches to restore stability. So, Maresca arrival at Manchester City isn't as easy as one might imagine. He certainly faces immense pressure coaching a team like Manchester City. But if he manages to lead Manchester City to a top three finish in his first season he's sure to be successful in the following seasons.

Guardiola was City's coach last  season. But City's performance has not been as good as expected in the last two years. Their overall  condition is quite bad. In this situation, Maresca has taken over. So we should not expect much from manchester city  next season. I do not think that they will dominate the  premier league and champions league. For the fact that he worked under guardiola means that he has the perfect strategy the team can follow to perform better next season. Chelsea frustrated his efforts because I think he's a good Coach but Chelsea had their flaws that made him look like he wasn't putting in effort. Manchester city is a good team and maresca isn't going to build the team from scratch, he will definitely do better at Manchester city Next season but we cannot be too sure of Manchester city's performance because the premier league is unpredictable.

They lost that match but I'm not going to banter or blame them for losing to Wrexham cause most of their senior players are yet to return and the coach had to use what's available, Carrick should just take note of the younger players with good performance the ones he'll comfortably work with.

 Any fan who worry cause they lost to Wrexham in a friendly game is not serious, I believe Wrexham would use their full squad cause most of them if not all wouldn't be called for the world cup so they'll be at more advantage than Manchester United. I'm just happy that I'll use the Pre-season to feed my since the world cup would be over soon.

Well, you are not wrong, losing doesn't mean they'll have a bad season since it's just an harmless pre season game.. the only problem will be that the fans will be dissapointed in the results, seeing your team play for the first time in a while and then losing without scoring a goal is devastating. It would have been different if they lost while scoring a few goals.

A lot of first squad players were available and I expected something more from them even though playing Wrexham is never easy. Only a few players were absent so they should be able to take Wrexham on if they are really preparing for next season. It's still early and there is still many more games to play so it's not late to improve and take corrections.

During guardiola time at Manchester city they didn't suffer managerial issues. Pep guardiola was a great manager,he manage city well and the players were at a top form before and after he left city. So Maresca wouldn't have to start from the scratch building the team because he took over a stronger and well coordinated team from guardiola. The season will be tough,maresca can't rely on the players pep guardiola bought which is why he still buying players. So far maresca has signed three quality players, I think he isn't done yet he might still sign extra players to strengthen Manchester city squad ahead of the upcoming season.

I don't like following preseason games because they give us a very disconnected image of what they'll actually be like in the league, but it's good. Right now, I prefer to focus on betting on the World Cup, which I find much more interesting. However, right now, the ones who take advantage and get the real benefit from preseason games are the coaches; they're the ones who see what they have in their team, their strengths and weaknesses.
