Exactly, even though the game was a friendly match Manchester united was supposed to win the game very well. I didn't watch the game but when I check on the highlight it was even very bad that Manchester never had big chances to score outside the ball that hit the bar, no good attempts to a team that is not even in Championship or League one in the English league. I don't look at scoreline but at team structure, pressing, adapting new player, the coach's tactical idea and which position still have weakness. Perhaps it was because some players weren't fully integrated into the club, which contributed to their poor performance, but it shouldn't have been this bad, considering Carrick fielded their best players, and the team they were playing was a Championship side.

It was a bad start for them, because even though it was a friendly, they should have won with the depth of their squad. Although,  I'm not completely gassed and excited ahead of the new season, they have not really backed Carrick the way I expected and Harry Maguire still in that Manchester United backline will literally take us nowhere. There is something about starting the season with a win regardless of the nature of the game, because there is a certain positivity that the win gives which should strengthen the mindset of the players for the start of the season. Manchester United showed no seriousness playing that game, it wasn't a serious game but still should have being won regardless.

If they lost to Wrexham with a complete squad then I would've been worried about the coming season but most of the players were under trial and watched by the coach to see if they'll be upgraded to the first team, the coach would also use games like that to see the performance of his new players and know how they'll fit into his strategy. I expected most of those younger players to do their best and impress the coach else they'll be loaned for experience and improvement.

Yes it is too early to judge Manchester United because right now the season has been started so let's wait patiently and see how they start this season, and again starting with winning is actually the best but that does not guarantee how the season will end because it is a very long journey which cannot be predict for your competition like Premier League, assuming it is bundeslig or ligue 1 i will say that it is possible for them to win the league like that but it must be Paris Saint-Germain in French League and also Bayern Munich in the German league which I'm very confident that with them it is possible.

Arsenal has got a good number of their players in England,  and currently they are still in the world cup competition as they will be playing for the third spot, there are chances these players may return fatigued, this is one thing many are not considering but are still of the opinion  that Arsenal is in the perfect shape, except they have an exceptional strategy that will maintain the teams form, I doubt if their start of the season will be very smooth.

I will be more concerned about Manchester United if they were unable to start the season very well because that is what affected them last season where they started very poorly and then later went on to build momentum but it was too late because clubs like Arsenal had already taken the lead on the Premier League table and were not slowing down.

What about betting a yellow card for a friendly match and yet people say it's a friendly match. If you have the courage to play and make a foul but at the end of the day you don't have any goal and you want to use the "friendly" as an excuse, then it's not worth it in my opinion. It's better to have a goal even if incase you lose the match than for people to think that you don't you are not ready to stand the league, it's not proper and doesn't make sense.

I hope that what we observe with Manchester united is not what they will play by the time season begins, there is no way this will represent what the team is about since he was just adding everyone and doing changes for all the players so they can have appearance in the game. They look not ready to play the league, they don't have the feeling of that team that is ready to be at the top of the league.
