Although pre season matches are not taken seriously, it would look really funny is they loose to Rosenborg as well because the club is clearly not their match. Naturally I would predict Manchester united to win, but friendly match can be seen as just a warmup for the whole team, even starting XI and players on the bench, most of the players that started are removed in the second half for others to play, so it is not a very good yardstick to measuring team performance.

Manchester United may not have taken the pre-season matches seriously as we can see them losing to Wrexham in a humiliating manner and they will face Rosenborg in the upcoming match. It seems that Man United will be fighting for the win in this match. Also in the club friendly matches, Manchester United will face Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and PSG, naturally this PL team will have to face a tough fight against these two teams. You are right that these club friendly matches may not be a very good measure of the performance family but still it seems that they should get a win against last year's UCL champions PSG as a result of which they will be able to play with a stronger mentality in the upcoming PL season.

Exactly Michael Carrack is guys who can help the team strength even more frankly. We all see his previous season quality like he came up in the mid of the season and did a great job at league competition. He not even win all matches despite he also defeated two super star team even one was the league leaders Arsenal and Manchester City. So he extraordinary playlist of previous season....

Now the next is waiting for him and maybe Manchester united brought few good players for him. So this addition will definitely sparke his team capacity. It is very necessary to get signings now that the transfer window is still open to every club to go into the market and get their players.
Arsenal have not really been active in this summer transfer window, and in one of the deals they wanted to secure, lost out to Chelsea after the deal was highjacked by the blues who were able to meet Aston Villa demand of about 117 million pounds. Morgan Rogers was Arteta's priority in the left wing this summer but unfortunately, they have lost out.  Now Arsenal have shifted their focus to Bruno Guimereas of Newcastle in order to booster their midfield, and I can say it for free here, that if the Gunners can secure that deal, he will be the best signing of the summer.

i'm sad about West Ham United. they were one of the staples of the league but unfortunately got relegated this season. they will be competing in the Championship next year. i say unfortunately because, as a football fan, it broke my heart to see such an established club get relegated...

Chances of them coming back is high but that if they replace the player that would leave to play in bigger with good ones, they sold Fernandes for a huge fee and can use that to recruit quality fast rising players that could help them come out of the Championship league,  it's going to be tough but with the Premier league experience they have, they can do it.

 Well Nuno is a lucky coach, I thought West Ham would sack him after failing to help them escape relegation but they still gave him another opportunity to make up for it. He has to do his best to keep West Ham in a good position till the league is almost over else they'll sack him if they don't improve in the Championship league.

Big clubs like Arsenal, Manchester City who were rivals for a couple of season will be very careful with bringing in players because they would not want a player that would come in and mess up the dynamics of the team especially for teams like Arsenal where they have a coach that has an already established system that is working. They will be more careful with the players they bring in.

Winning a trophy is not an easy task for any manager. Performing well last season doesn’t mean that you’ll also perform well this season and win a trophy. There preseason game which they lost cannot be used to quantify how their performance is going to be for next season, I still do not see a reason for that yet. Carrick is well aware of the task ahead of him and the opportunity given to him is a very huge one that he won’t want to joke with and come out successfully as a better manager than the previous one. Until the season begins, I don’t think we should have a negative sensation towards him but hope that he’ll do well to carry Manchester United back to their glorious days.

I think they’ll be able to improve Manchester United’s performance next season, there’s exactly one month left between now and the start of the season. Since the Premier League is set to begin on August 22, it seems.

In preseason, we actually often see strong teams suffer defeats or something similar. And that does happen because they don’t care about winning or losing. Like that was not really nice of them, that lost actually got me, despite the kind of players used in playing that game they shouldn't have lost that match to Wrexham, like this preseason games is sometimes the games that gives the fans hope and confidence for the upcoming league campaign, but lossing to this kind of team is never a guarantee to anything, Michael Carrick should not shatter my hope and confidence in him, he should better fix things before it gets too late, because the task ahead is more challenging than this ones, and if he's start lossing now what hope do we have while facing the main teams.

I don't see any reason why they will waste their energy there, because it usually affects some of clubs when they participated in the pre-season due to injuries that occur in the process, that is why I don't want Manchester United to participate on it or take it serious so that their players will be intact without any issue. If you look at this world cup Manchester united players are not much that participated in the World Cup which shows that most of their players were resting during the period, I think it should be an advantage to them by having more energy to start well next season, many of football fans will be waiting to see how Manchester United will start the coming season because a lot of people are talking that Manchester United will perform very well since they have a very good ending in the last season.

I agree that Manchester united Fans should not be worried or bothered about the preseason loss but trolls will not take it, they want to engage with that a lot and make the team look like they are failing already, and most fans will not want to accept that but the fact remains that it is not a thing to really worry about, it actually tells nothing about the actual form of the team in the true sense, ordinarily i do not think or expect a team to give out their all in the preseason games and that it because their tactical ideas need to be protected at the time and basically player testing is what they should be looking at and not using all of their best tactics already.

Carrick doesn't need to do preseason training. I think the players have already had a good preseason with the World Championship. Most of the MU players played in the World Championship, and those who didn't have been training, so it's not a bad thing. They just need to make a couple of adjustments and they'll be ready. That's how things are with Carrick, which is why I think things with them are on another level. I'm very excited about Carrick and his team.

Man Utd defeat in this match can be understood, because Carrick did not field his best players and especially after entering the second half after they were 1 goal behind, Carrick seemed to experiment by rotating with young players, so obviously Carrick does not care about the result, regardless of losing or winning, what he wants is to give playing minutes and see the potential of their new players.
These types of matches regardless of who is competing, need to be avoided in the bet slip.

I believe he can present one trophy, but maybe not the main trophy or the premier league, because even though he did a very good job last season, the competition to win the main title is not an easy job.

Even if the game between Manchester United and Wrexham was a pre-season game, Manchester United was supposed to win a weak team like Wrexham but even after they played with most of their best players, they could not win Wrexham, they lost 1:0 to Wrexham, it was so surprising to me because i expected them to win the game comfortably since they played against a team in the second division of English football. Regardless the result of Manchester United in their 1st pre-season game, Michael Carrick will do well this season for Manchester United, even if he did not win the premier league he will finish in top 4.

With the performance Carrick shown us last season they will do well in thier performance, because Carrick look promising  managing this squad, as you said earlier they see that Carrick did well in a short period of time and that is why they decided to keep him.

When teams like Manchester United or other big teams, which had players at the World Cup for example, are playing against these weaker teams, it sometimes seems that the odds are off. I don't know, there is a risk betting on these friendlies or preseason in general, but there can be opportunity as well. I wouldn't bet big though, but it is usually not necessary since the odds are great anyway. It's not always the case, but from time to time there are odds that I think should be much lower.

It is an excellent opportunity to test the boys who come from the spring of the various clubs, and to test new purchases and try new game modules based on the most recent purchases, considering that the most important of the various squads were involved in the World Cup competition, as far as the odds are concerned i would bet a very moderate amount on the underdog teams considering that they are friendly and where the favored teams try different modules and players.

Many have wrong expectations for these matches and some critical thinking would be enough to know that these matches could end any way because of all the irregularities compared to normal matches. Substitutions, new players must be integrated and the coaches try stuff out all the time. It is not about consistency I think, but about intensity.

The trick is that teams from lower leagues often take these matches much more seriously and that is where the opportunity shows up for some good bets. It is risky in these matches, I agree with that, but as I said before it can at times be fun to take that risk.

Have you noticed last season? Since Michael Carrick was appointed, Manchester United's performance has only improved. They started performing well towards the end and this season they will start performing even better, Manchester United need players in this new season, they need to recruit in the defender and attacking department.
Because this season every club will add players, so to perform better than them, Manchester United will have to perform better than last season.
