this season they will start performing even better, Manchester United need players in this new season, they need to recruit in the defender and attacking department.
Because this season every club will add players, so to perform better than them, Manchester United will have to perform better than last season.

You really think so? Did you watch their pre-seaosn match against wrexham? If I'm to judge from thier performance in this Match it feels like manchester united have not make a change they still remains the manchester united we used to know. Though I over heard some people saying that it's just a pre-seaosn match not that serous, but even at that they are supposed to show working from now, though I noticed that manchester united doesn't take pre-seaosn matches very serious.

I just hope they perform more better in thier domestic league, they should try and make this season a remarkable one or better than every other season.

Some people are quick to judge, just one lost and their have concluded that Manchester united will not do well in the coming premier league and champions. Moreover it was just a preseason match so it wasn't even an important match for Manchester united.
-.-

It’s possible that Carrick is still experimenting with his strategy, so the players are still trying to get used to it. There’s also the issue of player fitness and the loss of several key players, which has severely disrupted their performance. So it’s no big deal that they lost --- and it's certainly an overreaction to jump to the conclusion that they’ll perform poorly next season.

But, I hope they won’t make silly mistakes like this again in their next friendly match. It would just be ridiculous to see them lose again.

Yes, basically this is just the beginning for Manchester United, and certainly in their friendly match yesterday they also didn't play very seriously. So that's why they lost to their opponent. But I also believe that Manchester United's performance is actually good right now, but because there are many things that might hinder it, as you mentioned, so their performance can't be optimal.

Besides that, we don't need to take this friendly match seriously, because basically we won't be able to measure a team's performance just by looking at their performance in a friendly match like this. Because basically in a friendly match, as we know, it is only an experiment. So that's why I don't think we take this friendly match too seriously. So with that, I think if Manchester United loses again in the next friendly match, it won't be a big problem. Because basically it's just a match for experimentation.

The race to improve their squad in the premier league is becoming intense as each of the clubs try to strengthen their teams by signing player that they think will improve their squad. It is very necessary to get signings now that the transfer window is still open to every club to go into the market and get their players.
Arsenal have not really been active in this summer transfer window, and in one of the deals they wanted to secure, lost out to Chelsea after the deal was highjacked by the blues who were able to meet Aston Villa demand of about 117 million pounds. Morgan Rogers was Arteta's priority in the left wing this summer but unfortunately, they have lost out.  Now Arsenal have shifted their focus to Bruno Guimereas of Newcastle in order to booster their midfield, and I can say it for free here, that if the Gunners can secure that deal, he will be the best signing of the summer.
Yes, it's certain that all teams are currently competing to find new players to fill their squads and improve their performances. The World Cup is over, and the hunt for new players will really get exciting from now on. Speaking of Arsenal, I don't think they need to bring in too many players right now. They already have great players. If Arsenal were to bring in too many new players in this transfer window, things would undoubtedly go wrong, which I don't think is good. If many new players arrive, the team will have to adapt to them.

This will obviously take time, and I don't think it's a good thing for Arsenal, who are currently pursuing a big target. So, I think Arsenal just needs to change their strategy to be more attacking, and that will definitely make a significant difference to their performance. That's basically the only thing I think Arteta needs to improve at Arsenal right now.

I don't know why you guys are getting worried over Manchester United lost in the preseason game when we know that it doesn't count or will affect the teams performance when the new season starts. Do you know if Carrick is trying to experiment something in his head to see if it would work out or not. Take a chill pill and wait till the season starts before complaining.

Yes, we think the same way, it is right for a coach in this initial pre-season phase to start experimenting to find the right approach to use with the team, if he didn't do it now it would certainly be too risky to wait for the start of the championship, with the end of the World Cup the coaches will once again have the entire squad at their disposal to be able to study the options as best as possible.

Before I used to think that the performance in the preseason will determine how you perform when the season starts but it's not always so. Last preseason, Man UTD did well in the Summer games and I began anticipating their games once the season started but it wasn't so, instead they were very poor and if it wasn't for the intervention of Micheal Carrick, they would have been fighting in the bottom, possibly in relegation waters so they may not have done well but maybe in the new season, they'd continue to shine better.

Newly promoted Coventry City continues its transfer activity. After signing Amenda from Frankfurt for 18 million euros, Coventry has also managed to sign Frank Onyeka from Brentford. Coventry, which has also signed Loum Tchaouna from Burnley, has completed four transfers so far. Striker Norman Bassett has returned from the team he was on loan to.
It's good! Coventry knows that they won't able to stay in EPL if they are not improving their club. So glad they do it. The good part is that they are able signing Amenda from Frankfurt. You know Amenda play in UCL next season if he stay at Frankfurt, yet he chooses to go to the Covernty, which is only playing in EPL.
So it's showing club is also starting to get the traction after they play in EPL.

So they may add more to increase the depth in their squad. Hopefully, they will able to be competitive and stay longer in EPL. I'm always happy when i see a newly promoted team becomes active in strengthening their squad.
I put so much respect on them related to how big their effort.

Many have wrong expectations for these matches and some critical thinking would be enough to know that these matches could end any way because of all the irregularities compared to normal matches. Substitutions, new players must be integrated and the coaches try stuff out all the time. It is not about consistency I think, but about intensity.

The trick is that teams from lower leagues often take these matches much more seriously and that is where the opportunity shows up for some good bets. It is risky in these matches, I agree with that, but as I said before it can at times be fun to take that risk.

Speaking of the first games of the season,

Arsenal vs. Coventry
Hull City vs. Manchester United

where big clubs face former Championship clubs, I think, despite all the motivation, the new excitement, etc., the newcomers will be swept away. The gap between the Premier League and the Championship is too great, and the Premier League favorites should confidently take three points. Judging by the odds in both games, the expected result is hovering around 2.5 - 0 in favor of the favorites. Surprises (as always) are possible, but I will bet on the favorites.
