This is actually about making a wager or to simply put it you cannot just simply because anything can happen in football place a bet on a team which is not the favourite without having to actually look at certain metrics to back up your decision. This like someone saying Arsenal against Coventry they place a bet on Coventry to win simply because in football you cannot be so sure of what will happening. While the entire thing is a gamble already it is definitely a highly risky gamble which is next to throwing away your money.

For this particular game both clubs are seriously struggling but the reality is that Tottenham are struggling more because they are not only finding it difficult to actually score goals but to even defend goal merely looking at this you would place a bet on Liverpool to win but they are also suffering from same situation too. Personally this are games i definitely would avoid putting my money on

You concluded with the point which I am trying to make obvious, since they are not just any other game but football, it’s best to wagger on whatever you feel is good for you but not underscoring the point that anything can happen, Spur is a weaker team but then Liverpool can disappoint a lot of times, so does that not prove the point that anything can happen as this is football? We can all agree that Haaland’s goal was supposed to be ruled out as offside, I wanted the VAR to draw the line but they didn’t, it looked like he was ahead of the Manchester united last man. after the review i didn’t still wondered how managed the VAR didn’t see that and awarded the goal. Be it the defense, midfield, or even the attack, everything is the same right now. So, a player overhaul is definitely necessary to improve Manchester United's performance in the long term. But for now, yes, Carrick as the coach there must be able to survive and be able to make Manchester United at least not be relegated.

Bad officiating in the Premier League again but this time from the VAR officials for going against the initial call from Michael Oliver on Haaland's goal, I think it is proper to say that the Premier League has the worst officials because they keep making mistakes and getting away with it with no real punishment other than them offering an apology after making teams lose points in very important games that could decide the season of that team.

The VAR officials on duty were Matt Donohue, and assistant Blake Antrobus and they have only been suspended for the next football week to come back after the international break. I do not think such a punishment is enough for the points they cost Manchester United, do you?

The last two teams' game was basically a game of luck versus bad luck. Manchester United had 16 shots to score, none of which could be converted into goals. Man City won the match thanks to Haaland's extraordinary skills. If his goal had been disallowed at that time, the match would have probably ended in a draw. I was a little skeptical about betting but I bet on Man City before the match started. Although the team had to gain a lot of momentum to win. Manchester City continued to play with emphasis on defense, was able to pull off a hard earned victory.

Manchester United are not successful. They started off with a 2-0 defeat against Hull City in their first match. What's wrong with Newcastle? How are they been thrashed 4-1 at the elland road stadium tonight? So many things are not just adding up if you ask me because Newcastle United have what it takes to compete against Leeds today but ended up becoming vulnerable and conceded 3 goals in the first half.

Honestly, I was flabbergasted by the result, I was expecting a better performance from them. Even though they'd lose, I wasn't expecting it to be to that extent. It's true that they sold most of their most valuable players—those players needed a better club to spread their wings—but they bought some decent players too, it shouldn't have been this bad, having just 1 win in their last 4 games.

First of all, I'm a Chelsea fan, and I believe it should be an offside—not on Haaland but on Enzo. Enzo Fernandez clearly interrupted the play, his movement caused an obstruction in play, that goal shouldn't have stood, the initial offside call was correct.

Well, initially Oliver disallowed the goal for offside. But then the video assistants intervened in the incident. Ultimately, the goal was allowed to stand, Matthew Donohue and his assistant Blake Antrobus, have since been suspended, temporarily removed from VAR duties because, firstly they wrongly allowed the goal, and secondly, they didn't call Oliver over to the monitor to check it himself.

So, this suspension doesn't apply to Oliver, it affects those two referees. Yes City likely just got lucky, otherwise the match would have ended in a draw. Sometimes elements of luck in sport play a major role in the final outcome. It’s not just City that might face problems over the course of the season, Arsenal could too.

Actually, I don't really care whether the goal was allowed or not, because it doesn't really have a significant impact. What I'm more concerned about is the fact that for 90 minutes, Manchester United couldn't score any goals. That's what I feel is more important than just this one goal.
Manchester United played against City with 10 players, yet still couldn't put up any meaningful fight, and that's just ridiculous. Cunha, Rashford, and all the Manchester United players underperformed; they couldn't carry out an effective attack. It was expected that at least they could play more aggressively, but what we saw yesterday was just them running around the pitch and none of their shots went in.
Carrick needs to do something about Manchester United's performance because we can't keep saying this is just the beginning of the season. That reason is just silly considering their current position in the league.

The City player positioned in the middle of the attack was definitely offside, he clearly interfered with the defender and drew attention to himself while Haaland was scoring the goal. So, it is obviously a case of offside, and there are plenty of valid complaints about the goal being allowed to stand. But let’s be honest, even though the goal was allowed, Manchester United still failed to score. And they really should have scored, given that they played with a numerical advantage for most of the match. You see, even with VAR, refereeing errors still happen.

Exactly what I used to tell people in football, you can actually tick all your boxes in football match but unfortunately you might not win the game, there is nothing Manchester United did not play in that encounter against Manchester City, they had a control, the possessed the ball, they were constantly pressuring Manchester City, and on top of it all, they were a home team that had their opponent on a one man down yet they couldn't win or even score, it surely showed that they were unlucking and Manchester City had a better luck.

In my opinion, Manchester United were the weaker side in that game, they lost possession a lot of times and never really created goal threatening opportunities until few minutes to the end of the game. Manchester City kept a strong defence that United could not break through, there was no creativity in the midfield, Bruno was no where to be found in the second half due to his frustration in the game.

The fact that they were at home and their opponent had a red card yet they couldn't win is the reason why everyone is angry at Manchester United. They had everything possible to defeat manchester city at old Trafford but i don't know what was holding them back. Honestly, after city got that red card in the 23min, manchester united should have press on the advantage by playing counter-attack to score before halftime. The goal would have given them an advantage in the 2nd half as they would have gotten their confidence back, it would have enabled them to pressure Manchester city more and score a second goal.. They really got me angry as they couldn't make use of the red as an advantage and win the match.

I don’t think hull think they can maintain this position, things are fine now but let see when the league becomes more competitive and more pressure starts coming from some the clubs we are seeing as the weak ones now, lets not forget that there are still some clubs that we are excepting their improvement soon. Yes I agree with you that Manchester United have weaknesses in all areas, especially I would say that their attacking part has a big weakness. Because they are attacking but they are not able to succeed in those attacks and their attacks are going in vain. They need to improve very soon, if we see the same performance on the field and continue then it can be said that they will not be able to stay in the top 5 this season.

Manchester United is not in a good form now, since they're struggling like this in premier league, what's the guarantee they'll go far in Champions League this season?
If they continue like this, their performance would be very laughable in the UCL. This team isn't ready yet to lift any trophy, the team is weak, they need better players, I'm sorry to say this, but their current squad cannot take the team any far. Chelsea is proving to be a better team this season than Manchester United. Manchester United seems to be struggling so much, very early in the season.
