Sometimes playing well does not always produce good results, a team can still lose for various reasons. I just think that Manchester City have a better mentality than Manchester United. They were able to maintain the advantage when Manchester United had a player advantage, that's a satisfying thing.

Indeed, in football, everything must be strong, starting from mentality and others. If one of them is lacking, the team could suffer defeat, as happened to Manchester United. If only Manchester United had a better mentality in that match than Manchester City, Manchester United could have won. However, it turns out that Manchester United's mentality still needs to be improved. Of course, now Michael Carrick's job is to improve the mentality of Manchester United players so that they can perform better and always win when competing.

Manchester City does have a better mentality than Manchester United, and this is indeed a natural thing, which is why Manchester City is always competing tightly for trophies. However, Manchester United conceding one goal in my opinion is not too disappointing because the team Manchester United is up against is a strong team.

The fact that they were at home and their opponent had a red card yet they couldn't win is the reason why everyone is angry at Manchester United. They had everything possible to defeat manchester city at old Trafford but i don't know what was holding them back. Honestly, after city got that red card in the 23min, manchester united should have press on the advantage by playing counter-attack to score before halftime. The goal would have given them an advantage in the 2nd half as they would have gotten their confidence back, it would have enabled them to pressure Manchester city more and score a second goal.. They really got me angry as they couldn't make use of the red as an advantage and win the match.

These teams that were once legendary are losing their weight on the pitch, there are no longer certainties and the teams are changing. Manchester United could have done it anyway, a team that can improve on the mental aspect must look for a victory as soon as possible if it wants to get back on track.

Manchester united are really a good side, and I can say they have even improved under Carrick. I think this season is going to be a very long one for Manchester united because they failed to do what they were supposed to do during the summer transfer window. Carrick's performance last season was topnotch and it was the reason they qualifiied for Europe competition which was why he was given a contract at Old Trafford.

They started the season poorly, but I still think there is time for them to improve and be in the top four because not all giant teams are doing well this season apart from Arsenal and Manchester City who have won all their matches this season in all competitions.  Carrick has to instill that winning mentality in the man U squad for them to be able to win more games this season and get back to the top four spot.

 Leeds United demolished Newcastle yesterday at Elland road and I'd have to admit i didn't see that score line coming because Newcastle aren't a small club and being that they have only won just 1 out of their 3 games and drawn 2, I thought they will attack the game but no, they relaxed and opened their defense like a generous giver while Leeds took proper advantage.
 Leeds got piped and knocked out of the Carabao cup competition by Chelsea so I thought it will be hard for them this time around but it seemed they had to transfer their unspent anger and frustration on someone, unfortunately it had to be Newcastle. Matthias Jaissle isn't having a fun time at St James Park and I reckon he'd need some special miracle and he'd need it quick because at this rate, he's not getting the favorite in the eyes of his bosses.

Though the season or the league is to early to give direct outcome but my impression is that the hull City team may make some credible result of coming out above their position in the table following the ways and manners they are trying all possible best to stand undefeated even with bigger teams that have not been in religattion for quite a while now,their performance have nothing to do with referee or selling of the match as most people believe that real life match could be sold which make bigger team to under perform playing with smaller team.

The same way Hull city is performing now is how Sunderland did when they came to premier league last season but later they were pushed back to their rightful position and perhaps same thing will likely happen to Hull city so they should enjoy it while it last because it won't be the same later. However, I believe Arsenal and Manchester city or even a less team will put an end to their toughness but it may not be so sudden but there is no relegation for them.

Leeds United were never the favorite in this game and it amuses me that they took advantage of the loopholes in Newcastle defense and scored as many goals as they can since from the first half. Newcastle United needs to go back to the map again, they have a lot of work to do because at this rate they’re moving, they will likely end this season in a big disappointment. I am still shocked and still wondering how this came to be, Newcastle United fans will be so much disappointed and this may even reduce the contract of the manager, he may not stay until the end of the season if he continues like this.

I think for now we can all agree that Man United’s performance isn’t as good as it was last season. Some changes to their starting lineup seem to have had a significant impact. And to be honest, this season the team doesn’t seem to have full confidence. The chemistry among the players also seems to have gone back to square one, which means they appear to be going through a readjustment period. Yet they’ve been playing together for the past few seasons, and there really shouldn’t be a need for readjustment. especially with Carrick, since they’ve been working together since last season. However, one thing is clear: last season’s success for Carrick at Manchester United seems to have been thanks to the foundation laid by Amorim early in the season or even the season before.

I think Manchester United have not improved much this season. If they had improved, this team would have been at the top of the point table. Their reflection could be seen in the matches. They have been able to win some matches by a large margin, but they have not been able to maintain the consistency of winning. In one match they are playing attacking football, in the next match they have not been able to do so well in attacking. At the moment, Manchester United's defensive awareness  needs to be made a lot stronger. I have no excuses about their attacking. However, they need to increase their midfield controlling. I have no doubts about Bruno Fernandes' performance. He is doing well, but we have seen him in the match before, leaving the midfield and going to attack, scoring goals. But if he goes to attack, the midfield will become weak. If we observe at the upcoming matches, we will understand how much Manchester United is trying to improve. But at the moment, I do not see any change considering their performance in the last matches. They have a upcoming match with Brighton . I think they will win easily, but it is to be seen whether they are trying to improved or not.

Although they performed well last season, the current level of play and momentum seen at the start of this season suggest they might struggle to remain competitive in the long run. Manchester United often faces significant challenges against other Premier League sides and finds it difficult to secure victories. Consequently, if this level of performance persists, they are unlikely to achieve a strong standing in the Champions League. Therefore, the team needs improved leadership and better coaching, alongside greater effort and hard work from the players themselves.

And that was a clear thrashing; no one thought of that in terms of goal margin. Newcastle United didn't expect it either. I guess they must have underrated Leeds while coming to play that game. I'm loving how this season is. This is why the English Premier League would remain the best because each season comes with a different ball game. These promoted teams are super hot, and we can see it from their performance so far. Hopefully, they keep the energy and winning spirit going forward.

Well last season when micheal Carrick took over, Manchester United was playing just on game a week and that really helped the players to understand each other more because of the much time they were spending at the training ground, and also they had enough time to recover. This season I knew it would be like this for them, they will be playing every 3 days and the management still fails to Sign enough players for them during the transfer window.

After that red card in the Manchester derby, Manchester United has all chance to win that game or even at least get a draw, but Instead, they lost it at home. Well let see what happens in the comings days, if Manchester United can get Maximum points in these coming fixtures.

The Sunday Manchester derby was the worst game i have watched Manchester United played, it was a disappointing result this isn't the Manchester United we all saw last season when Carrick took charge of the team, they have perform excellently brilliant even won Manchester City at that spot so i was surprised that they couldn't beat Manchester City at Old Trafford after Manchester City player Foden was set off the pitch after kicking Bruno Fernandes on his stomach.

That red card was a huge opportunity for Manchester United to win the derby game but unfortunately they lost the game 0-1 and Haaland became the hero of the day.

We can't tell for now. Even in last season, this was what happening and later they picked up. And their performance with Manchester City was not bad. MU tried in that game and it was a drew game but the decision of the referee on the field is the final. And the problem of MU is not only the coach but the players as well. By now the coach has known the weak areas of the club in the pitch and let him train players to occupy those place t make it stronger.

MU has a solid defense but the midfield and the striking forces is not enough and those places need to be worked out for better performance.

It appears as though the Manchester united players are not ready to see themselves in the class that they actually belong. they are gradually losing form badly and if not that the likes of Tottenham hotspur can be incredibly worse, there is no big difference between them. for there supporters, it must have been a very difficult time to defending your club because how on earth can you defend aa club that has all it takes to win in front of their home supporters and that were lucky enough to get a man down from their opponents end and yet they could not make anything off that? that is insane.

Do you know why Hull city might be different from Sunderland? Last season when Hull city finished the Championship place in Lower division, they finished 3rd place and went to play off and qualified for the Premier League and it seem they are using the same spirit of lower division here. The Sunderland you are comparing finished their own time at first place and cool off after all the effort to stay at the top, the two teams might not be the same.

Some teams when they join the top division they haven't experienced in a long while, they find it hard to challenge the top clubs, Hull city has proven to be different than other teams in the Premier League. I don't think they stand a chance to win the league yet but they might go far than some teams that are here for very long time.

I will say they are declining and I have my reasons for saying it. As a big team like this, even the fans are not expecting anything less from them because as a club of such caliber I don’t expect them to always be settling for the less or bare minimum. It does not speak well for their business including the e brands working with them as partners if we are to look at the business side of it. Out of the 4 games they have played, they have only won one of it which was the match against Ipswich I guess. Despite such, Ipswich is still leading them at the table as they were able to score two goals in their last 4 games and lost two. Manchester United have lost two, draw in one and won only one game and such poor performance has put them in the 13th position of the league which does not show any seriousness or improvement to me as at present.

It’s not the first time a team has given an interim manager the full time job after he had half a season of good results. Carrick may do well but he hasn’t really proven anything at a big club long term so the pressure is on him now. He’s not just a steady pair of hands to guide them through the season. He is full time manager and Man Utd will expect results.

Hull have started the season well, though not all their matches have gone equally well. They beat Coventry who also arrived in the Premier League this season, and drew with Aston Villa and Chelsea. While these are certainly decent results for a newly promoted side, Aston Villa are currently in poor form. So they are playing well, but it is probably still too early to draw any firm conclusions. Hull's next match is an away game against Newcastle, and that could well be where they suffer their first defeat of the season.

Arsenal will be facing Ipswich today in the carabao cup, and it is expected that Arteta will rotate his squad heavily and rest some big players like Bukayo saka and Declan Rice and David Raya and some of Arsenal's key players, while players like Max Dowman will start on the wing, Eze might be given chance on the wing too because it seems he isn't doing well replacing Tzolis, he needs to play regularly to be able to do well at that wing.

Another player I'm expecting to start today's game is Victor Gyokeres, he has been so awful in the game he has played this season. He needs more playing time as well, and if am to give a prediction of that game, I will say Arsenal will win 2;1, it's going to be a close game next I believe Ipswich will play with the full squad, whole Arsenal will play with their reserves.

This is the case of Ole when he was an interim coach at Manchester united, Ole was looking like the Messiah that has came to save Manchester united, all Manchester united fans was like he was the chosen one, he should be given the job, then he was given the job, and this same thing happened, now Micheal Carrick took over the job as an interim coach last, and he was looking like the Sir Alex, now he's been given the job he's gone back to his normal self, like who exactly can save Manchester united from this mysteries, and how on earth did they get themselves to this point?
