so seeing the 5 matches results that was played for the passed weeks doesn't still guarantee or justify any club that is topping the league now, that they will still be topping the league for the next 15 weeks, so for that we should watch closely because I'm suspecting a great competition within  clubs.

City is the only team with a 100% record since the last five games, fans would often think or say that, if they defeat Liverpool on their next game they'll assume winning the title very possible. Looking at the game, Liverpool is vulnerable offensively, and Van Dijk in the defense is not consistently competent, but their defense appear stronger this season compared to the last season, just that the both flanks are weaker than ever. On the city end, Semenyo is down by an ankle injury and possibly won't be strong to face the reds in their upcoming match, on average is very likely to watch City win Liverpool.

Brighton understood the fact that Arsenal were very protective of their box 18, so they didn't attempt much to penetrate, rather they accurately hit it twice from outside the box and scored. It was a good strategy.

It was a very impressive strategy, but I just know that Arteta will go and work on that right away 

You make some interesting points for an Arsenal fan , although that is expected from him as more teams may want to replicate those precise shots from tight angles and catch Raya off-guard. We would only have to wait until the next match to see how much he patched that up, Leeds isn't a walkover team, so I expect them to put up a good challenge against Arsenal.

at the end of the day its not about who loses now, it's how long can a team say up the table or get there up before the season gets to an end, and with the actions I'm seeing Arteta make I could say that he has a good chance.

At the end of the day, it's still about making histories and keeping records. History has it now that Brighton has beaten Arsenal 3:0 both from home and away in a space of 3 years. I knew Enzo Maresca will perform well at Manchester city, I knew he will continue from where pep Guardiola stopped, and Guardiola left a very good squad, so I knew Enzo Maresca will continue from there. Manchester city performance has been so good this season, they have been able to win all their 5 matches, with the way they are performing, I don’t really think Manchester city will be losing match anytime soon. Enzo Maresca is a talented coach, he as quality player’s, and he has management which is ready to support him. Both Arsenal and Manchester city will fight for the league title this season, I don’t know who will end up winning it.

Manchester City's management has always been truly smart and precise when choosing their new coach. As we know, Manchester City has frequently won the Premier League, clearly because the team's management is always able to make the best decisions when searching for a new coach and players. So, this is clearly a very ideal team and deserves to be champions again this season. Because Enzo doesn't seem to need long to be able to make Manchester City a great team again.

So if the situation is like this, I'm sure Arsenal won't be able to underestimate Manchester City anymore. In fact, I think Manchester City's personality could be stronger than Arteta's team. Because basically, as we know, Manchester City is currently able to play well and sweep every match with wins. How can you be suprised of his performance, he coached the Man city U–21 team years back, he later came back as an assistant to work under Pep Guardiola. He already knows this club very well, so I'm not that surprised he's having a good time at City. Maresca worked under Pep once, so he should easily adapt to Pep style of play.

 I would have opposed that not only City and Arsenal are in the title race but these two teams ( Manchester United and Chelsea) are so inconsistent that I can't confidently call them title contenders.

Manchester city currently holds the record of 5 wins out of 5. Out of all the 5 games, they only had one clean sheet, which means they are not that strong in defence. Every team in the EPL has it's own lapses, so we can't really tell who is favourite or not. Although City and Arsenal are still active title contenders.

Maresca really knows how to build on what Pep established with this team, he’s doing a great job. He understands that if he makes drastic changes, the results will be pretty bad. As we saw in the preseason, Maresca experimented with a few tactical approaches that didn’t yield very good results. So in the end, he started implementing a strategy that’s actually almost identical to the one Pep built. And I’d prefer that he stick with Man City’s current style of play. After all, it’s difficult to abandon the best system that Pep has built. Especially since most of Man City’s key players are the same as in previous seasons.

However, as for whether Man City can win the title or not, well, that’s still hard to predict. Arsenal could still overtake Man City again if Man City makes a mistake.

We can't conclude yet until November 29th when both team meet again to clear the air if the community shield outcome was mere coincidence or Arteta has things figured out. I'm also surprised to see a lot of people judging quickly just because of a defeat, which I still considered as minor because since from the beginning of the season they were having a wonderful performance, which was the reason I'm so confident for them, they can still go a long way this season. Yes they were defeated by Brighton which also shocked everyone just because no one expected it, but that is football, with the results of arsenal's match are against Brighton, we definitely have to expect more surprise results this season because I don't think the shock would be from arsenal alone. If we observe correctly we can see that every team in the Premier League have started showing interest in the top spots, this simply means that every team have to be careful to defend themselves.

The international break is not helping the player perform better in their respective club. Two EPL striker  got injured last night during Netherlands vs Germany. Arsenal striker and Germany international Kai Havertz got injured by his fellow team maters twin brother. Brobbey the Sunderland striker and Netherland international striker also got injured in that same match. We have not yet reached half of the season and important players will be out for weeks for their club. Sad news to hear. Hopefully, the injury is not a serious one and they could be back in few weeks not months.

I can agree with you but not entirely, Arsenal seem to be the favorite early before the English premier league started, but as things may look now, that thought has shifted from many football fans thinking, like what Manchester City is playing now is totally out of the picture at first, but look how they are going head to head with Arsenal, that alone can tell how serious Enzo Maresca and his boys are, but never the less we still have about 33 games left so the league is still very much fresh and anything can still happen on the process.

Nothing good than make a team have the right coach. Maresca just appointed as the head coach of the Manchester City in June 2026, and his doing a great work because the season is not that gone far and his able to turn Manchester city performances into great one, if he can continue in that way Manchester City will still be among of the greatest teams in the premier league this season. But we all know that Arsenal is one of the stubborn teams in the premier league, so any teams that want to stop Arsenal need to be ready and tighten up their squad well because I’m still expecting a positive results from them this season.

Yes, after that defeat against Arsenal, most people thought that Manchester City would never do anything good this season. But they are very serious about winning every match, they scored 5 goals against Sunderland, they have played 5 matches in the league, they have won all 5, and they have scored a total of 13 goals in these 5 matches. they are quite good in attack, and at the same time they have consistency in their play. And taking advantage of Arsenal's unexpected defeat against Brighton, Manchester City are now at the top, I think they will not leave this top position easily. Manchester City is a great team and they can also maintain themselves very well in away matches, we can also understand this if we look at the match against Manchester United. Arsenal and Manchester City are the most likely teams for the Premier League title, and since Manchester City has not won the title for the last two seasons, they will be even more desperate for the title this season, because Manchester City won 4 titles in a row last time i.e 2 seasons ago, and they have not won the title in these 2 seasons, and so let's see how great they can be for the title this season.

As champions a lot was expected from them that's why they were seen as favourites before the new season and still favorites currently even though you believe otherwise, and I'm wondering why because it’s just one lose and you're already putting them off being favorites or one of the favourites rather, i think that's the better word to say.

As it stands, Manchester City is a big threat to Arsenal this season if they were relaxed about them, their recent league consistency should make Arsenal sit up, Pep might be gone but the new manager isn't joking and want to live that legacy that Pep Guardiola has kept over the years, it's going to be an interesting battle between Maresca and Arteta.
