What was the performance at the end of last season? Was it just to deceive us? I still don't understand why the board didn't support the coach who took his team from a very bad position to the Champions League next season!
It’s funny how Manchester United performed well under Carrick last season, and we are in a new season, and their performance is not good this season. I was expecting Manchester United to be so active during the transfer window, but Manchester United didn’t sign much players which i feel is part of what’s affecting them right now. Carrick played well last season, and I was thinking Manchester United will be competing for premier league title this season, but their performance is poor. I believe Manchester United performance is going to drop more if they start facing strong clubs in the champions league.

Michael Carrick performed well last season ultimately leading Manchester United to a Champions League spot I actually expected Man United to perform well in the Premier League this season but their performance has actually declined However I don't think it's too late for Manchester United to improve as there's still plenty of time and a long schedule of matches

But I think there's potential for Manchester United to bounce back I saw that they didn't concede many goals against Manchester City and against Brighton in the League Cup they managed to score two goals against Brighton despite losing However I think this indicates that Manchester United still has hope for a comeback and I think Michael Carrick just needs to develop a good strategy

In my opinion even though Mannchester United has faced a strong team in the UCL I don't think Manchester United's performance will decline We'll see what happens

That what footballers sign up for if you ask me, injuries are part of the football games but now the bigger problem we have at hand is that how much of this injuries can affect Arsenal style of playing than just only the numbers missing, now I want you to understand that replacement of a player is not same thing as replacing what the players  bring to the team you should get that clear,

Arsenal haven't made a significant number of changes to their squad. Of course, with more competitions to fall back on, they'll also need to find a way to rotate all their players so they can rest and play for the more important matches, according to their manager.

Michael Carrick is working hard to steer a haphazard team in the right direction. Their form was really good towards the end of last season, but it is not just Carrick's fault that they have not been able to maintain that form. The players performed well towards the end, and they thought they would be in the running for the trophy. But in the end, they finished third by a few points, which made their confidence a little shaky. But we saw very simple proof last season that they can play well. The fans started encouraging them this season with the same hopes and aspirations. But after a poor performance of 2/1 matches, confidence started to wane and the team's formation gradually started to deteriorate. Basically, United still have those players who, if they return to their form, will completely change the picture of the points table in just a few games. We will wait and see that change.

I think finishing third last year is already an excellent result for Manchester United, considering they haven't played in the Champions League for several years and have had several challenging seasons. So just being able to represent English football in the Champions League should be a significant source of satisfaction.

They got off to a poor start in the league; this reminds me of Amorim. They had a very successful spell with Michael Carrick last season, which is why he stayed on with the team this year. However, we are seeing Manchester United in a state of failure, as if they hadn't prepared well for the current season.

Manchester United needs to pull itself together as soon as possible, because there are still Champions League matches to come and a grueling schedule awaits them.

He's already been lucky enough to have drawn one of the most accessible teams in the Champions League early on, taking home three guaranteed points that have given him reason to breathe a sigh of relief, but he absolutely mustn't underestimate the upcoming matches and will have to try to take home as many points as possible if he wants to hope for anything concrete.

Yeah that it, having to replace injured player it not about putting another player in same position. Depending on what the player gives them, the team might have to change how their defend or attackers.

Given example, let say Odegaard is missing now another midfielder can play that his position. But this doesn’t mean this pwrson is going to create chances exactly same way like him. So Arsenal might be having enough of players squad but how well will this players adjust to the changes, it of more importance than just having a replacements available.

The Arsenal captain remains an irreplaceable player in terms of his vision and style of play. So I'm sure Arteta has no intention of replacing him. Personally, I believe the new arrival will be used solely to rest Ødegaard, and that's it; it's essential for the success of the upcoming matches.

We think the impact is significant because, of course, they beat an Arsenal side that has a lot to offer, but that's football. You can be playing very well today and win against a great, strong team, and then lose to a weak one. That's what football is all about; it's something we need to understand. Sometimes tactics fail, the manager's reading of the game can be wrong, and matches are lost. It's surprising, yes, very much so, because they are the defending champions, but it's totally normal for this to happen.

Being undefeated doesn't guarantee winning the Premier League. They can have these setbacks, but they can very well win the Premier League again. Many things happen in the Premier League that are worth seeing and experiencing.

It's certainly a significant point that Brighton beat the team that won the Premier League last year and the team that is still considered the strongest in the English league.
That doesn't change the fact that they've had a very favorable start to the season and are currently continuing on a strong path.

It is still amusing how they were able to pull this all through and no one ever gets to know that they’re breaking the rules. If they’re to go back to how far they’ve come since the rules was broken, then they may have not won many trophies and have the big name players they’ve gathered all this years. This is going to be a long case and with the look of things, they may not escape this all and will face legal actions that could tarnish the achievement of the club. Manchester City is a big club and maybe other big clubs will also be investigated in similar cases to see if they have also violated a rule that they need to be punished.
There is no way that these fraud case has influenced their performance as a team, as they have being a good team all along despite not having the best players in the whole of Europe. There are so many speculations about this case because one person digged into their mess, but does this mean they are the only club that are into financial fraud?

Man City have dominated the Premier league, not because of their fraudulent signings, but because their performance deserved it. It's painful that it's out in the open now and the judgment would be passed soon, their presence will surely be missed in the Premier league supposing they are relegated.

The man behind the Manchester City hack that's burning Manchester City currently after several years. He claims there are still more indictment files that his not yet released, he claims a private investor is holding 5 hard drives that contains information about Manchester City shenanigans that we don't yet know about. This is really going to be interesting, remember that Manchester City sued him for illegal possession of the documents, but come to think of this, isn't it funny that you're caught in this kind of web and your argument is that, the information using to nail you was gotten illegally, were they expecting people to come to them and ask for it? It's just funny how these guys can dance around the system with silly excuses.
Manchester City is in a deep shit, I don’t see them coming out from the appeal victoriously because the magnitude of their crimes is beyond comprehension, I don’t know how they think this things aren’t going to comeback to hurt them in the future, when making such decisions they should’ve thought about the future repercussions of their actions.

Now they’ve cheated to build the club in the detriment of other teams who have been following the rules, the Premier League needs to be careful how they handle this situation, because other clubs in the Premier League would be watching their punishment, there is a Sustainable Rules mostly the income of a club isn’t something that should be taken for granted and using foul play to have an advantage of success.

The FA and the Premier League need to show example with Manchester City by relegating them to the Championship, I think similar thing happened to Juventus that put them in this precarious situation.

Manchester City needs to suffer for their sins, so other clubs can run back the years of lies and deceit, they Manchester City should be ashamed of themselves, I don’t know how the fans would be feeling right now.

First of all the owners have to leave the club, for someone else to take over the club, I always knew something was happening behind the scene for Manchester City Crimes, I knew they were guilty.

Such unexpected results in a match are very normal, every team can never perform consistently in every match. And so there is nothing to worry about, this is Arsenal's first loss after being unbeaten in the last 7 matches, Arsenal is still a strong enough team, and they are still a very likely team for the title, in the end we will see the title fight between Arsenal and Manchester City.

It's the Premier League, not some farmers' league. You cannot expect to win every game, especially away from home. Teams here are strong and will adopt a style of play that doesn't suit you. These are the top athletes in the world, with remarkable technical and physical abilities. If a manager tells them to press as hard as they can, they will do it for 90 minutes. Arsenal was not ready for that and paid the price. Here, it's all about minor details in play that can overturn an entire game. And that's why it is the best league in the world.

We all remember this Tottenham players who stayed in the for a whole decade and finally helped his team to win their first trophy in a over a decade and also his ever first as a Tottenham player after they defeated Manchester United in the Europa League final. In 2024, a woman blackmailed him with a fake pregnancy and demanded to be paid 300 million Won so she doesn't bring it to the public, you know these celebrities and besides I think stuffs like this doesn't go down well in South Korea. Son Heung-Min paid the money thinking that's the end, but as all blackmailers does, they always come back. She came back to demand for more but this time around she was sued. Finally this year, she was found guilty together with her accomplice, she's sentenced to 4 years and her accomplice bagged 2 years. Funny how they weren't made to return the money.

I would also add that if a team is involved in multiple competitions, the risk of injury increases, everything is in the hands of the coach who must be able to rotate his players, alternating them with the reserves during matches.
It's no easy task, but Arsenal really shouldn't suffer in this, as they have a really large squad.
Let's say they are still fairly simple difficulties to deal with, obviously if injuries increase in the short term, the difficulty increases.
They might just slow down, but they won't stop on this thing, I'm sure of it.

For this reason, Arsenal also had to stock up on quality players during the summer break. Precisely because they play important matches on multiple fronts, it becomes difficult to manage all the players and their playing time. Therefore, a high level of quality will certainly be needed in the replacements, who will undoubtedly get playing time this season.

Interesting. I never knew, all along that the person who brought up what is used to burn Manchester City up did it illegally. It's now; I'm beginning to find out and know who the guy is.

Unfortunately, Manchester City can't do anything to the 37 years old guy named Rui Pinto from Portugal, founder of Football Leaks. So, Manchester City's whole concentration is on the charges against them, not on the guy(hacker)

I've seen a news says that Pinto already lose its protected status in portugal, which is meaning his life is not as safe as before. His decision to opening this scandal is making him not only to fight City, but also to fight its entire regime. Things get worsen with how UK PM is also supporting City for this because he worries UK will be losing two digits billion investment from UEA.

This will be a very very long drama for sure. I've grabbed lots of popcorn, then i'm waiting for what kind of drama we will be seeing it in the future.

It's hard to judge what kind of sanction City will get becaue there will be also political involving in this case.

Manchester City will be remembered for their incredible performance in the league but the bitter truth remains that the team achieved their trophies through illegal means. It is one thing for a team to be good but it is another for them not to go against the rules of the game which is why is affecting the team now, the judgement will not be in their favour because they are guilty of what they have been accused of and if the punishment is relegation if they have all the players in the team then give them few years you will see them back in the league. Manchester City will be missed if they leave the but the record they have will always be there.

The only reason they dominated is because they’ve been financially doping. They artificially inflated their finances to be able to buy the best players and pay the highest wages. None of this would have been possible without cheating. They won’t be missed.

Brighton have been playing well since the early stages of the tournament and Arteta should have taken the team more seriously instead of considering them as such a weak opponent. Because this is the first time that Manchester City has lost a match the team has more chances to be in a strong position against the opponent because Manchester City has maintained its good form. The controversy surrounding the club management cannot be confirmed at this time and the management is fighting to prevent any disciplinary action being taken against the team.

Well, I'm not too critical because Arteta is a great coach, but during the match it was very noticeable that he hadn't prepared well; in other words, he was overconfident. At this point, no matter how weak an opponent seems, we can't underestimate them because these things happen. In today's football, anything can happen at any moment.

On the other hand, the City situation has really struck a chord. According to the club, they have all the evidence to refute the decision. This conflict exacerbates the existing corruption within the league. According to El Chiringuito, the club has everything it needs to defend itself and come out of this unscathed. They also said on the program that next week they'll have an update on the "Negreira case," which is another surprise in La Liga, where corruption has reached unprecedented levels.

He has stepped on toes that probably wouldn't want him to still be breathing as it stands, before he was moved to with ess protection, I guess an attempt must have been made on his life. His been under witness protection for some time now, which means his not walking freely on the streets like the way you do, his in something similar to house arrest but in this case his been protected by government, his a witness that will testify against Manchester City in court when it's time for him to do so. These are big secrets that's out in the open and so many people will be under fire because of this.
Have we looked at the main problem here? The penalty if Manchester City after appealing still manage to see their last verdict? The possibilities for their titles won over the past years is under high probability, it can happen and it can not also happen. Rui Pinto is Manchester City biggest nightmare and he's the whistlblowy, he knows exactly what he is doing and one of the ways he's making sure city are found guilty is releasing evidences and he still says, there are a lot more from where this came from. Now I'm wondering, if Manchester City can't fight or stand thekr chances of eviction, it means they will serve to whatever punishment they're being given.
I still feel despite all the  count charges against them, Mancity will still find a way through, they will still get a way to come out of this ugly situation. It is obvious that many teams in the premier league really want them to be punished as a result of this charges against them because they have dominated the premier league for some years with this acts  and how they've gone about signing players for high prices and still lie that they are low.

It was reported some days ago that Haaland was signed for a fee in the region of 250 million Euros, but they lied to the media that they got him for 50 million pounds, they also told Dortmund to lie about the price they sold him, finding out all these things makes everyone want them to be punished so that other persons and other teams will learn from it.
When corruption is visible in the game and when lies between clubs and players are exposed, these are the things that will create a different reaction in the minds of the fans. Most of the allegations against City have been proven and they may face a major punishment. They should be punished and their punishment will make other clubs or players think twice before resorting to such lies in the future. I saw a news story where Manchester City will not face any ban but they will start the Premier League season with 20 points less than other teams. I don't know how true this news is but if the Premier League does something like this then I would still say it is a big punishment for them.

We have seen in the past years how some apprentice will become better than their master, while on most occasions they will not be as good as their masters, so in the case of Mikel arteta, his is truly not as good as Pep Guardiola, but he is still a top manager, because it's only few coaches that can stand side by side with pep guardiola since he has dominated the league and football for long.

The title race is still very fresh, so it's not wise to judge them by their loss to Brighton since they have not been doing bad before that game, but I am still expecting an interesting title race this season.

Pep Guardiola is a coach who has won countless titles and trophies throughout his coaching career. Arteta was one of his pupils, learning impeccably and developing a style of play very similar to his with Arsenal, leading them to the Premier League title last year.

I do not deny the dominance of Manchester City at the time, but when they were found guilty then whatever they did during his best phase in the EPL has a relationship with what they violate to sign players, manipulate sponsors and others. For City fans, if the club really had to be relegated, it would have been a big hit, but for some of us who are not fans, it's a big advantage.

The Manchester City case has been the most talked-about topic in recent weeks. I don't know how the situation will unfold, but if Manchester City were to be relegated, it would come as a massive shock. What I am really curious about is whether the players would stay with the team. When Juventus was relegated, most of the players left, with only a few exceptions. I wonder if there will be players who take a similar stance in Manchester City's case.
