It's either he's making jest of the Chelsea fans or he's only exaggerating, like which chance is he talking about? If I may ask, you know I had always thought Chelsea and Manchester United would be a great title contenders this season, but with what they've both played so far, bro I don't have any fate in them, qualifying for the top four is quite possible but they will really have to fight for it, but winning the league? Hell nah I don't think so, the team I'm even seeing fit for that miracle is Liverpool not Chelsea so he should give it a second thought.
I support all you have said, but Liverpool being in a better state to go for title race over Chelsea is what I will disagree with. Chelsea's problem is their defense and working on that will put them among the best team in the primer league, Liverpool on the other hand struggles with their attack, and defense also not all good, plus Chelsea has lesser games to play this season, but Liverpool has more games to play this season, so all these into consideration Chelsea has a better chance to go for a title race. If we compare the race for trophies, I think Chelsea are ahead. Liverpool's attack is not the only problem, their defense is also very weak. Chelsea's attack is relatively strong, although their defense needs to be stronger. Chelsea won 4-3 against Brighton. Chelsea's midfield and attack were performing well. But last month Brighton won 3-0 against Arsenal. If we compare Chelsea with Arsenal through these two matches, Chelsea will be in a comfortable position but the problem is that the team is not able to maintain consistency. Similarly, Liverpool cannot maintain their strength regularly. I think based on recent performance and the position of Chelsea in the point table, it is much lower than Liverpool. Although in terms of strength, I see Chelsea's performance as slightly better between the two teams and they can fight for the title. Chelsea is relatively much stronger than Liverpool, but both the attack line and the defense line are weak in Liverpool. You will notice that Chelsea has lost two of the five matches this season, but based on the performance of Liverpool, although they are weak, they have played well in every match and have not lost a single match. However, if the players of Chelsea's team can maintain their strong performance in the attack line and defense line, then something good can definitely be expected in the next matches. But Liverpool's performance is not improving continuously, rather there are weaknesses, in which case they need to improve. But if we compare the players between the two teams, Chelsea is ahead, but Liverpool is ahead in terms of the position of the point table.

Teams like arsenal and even Manchester city regardless of the internal challenge they are facing are not a relenting team and so, any other team that sits back and fail to start well will find himself struggling in the middle of the table as the season draws to a close. Chelsea and Manchester united have all along proven to be an average team and they are far from being looked as a worthy title contender.
This was the actual position Man U was at the start of the last season, before Carrick came onboard, was he taking advantage of the weakening mental strength of other managers when he freshly joined the league? I can't fathom why he hardly does any better starting the league together with Arteta, and Maresca. After the international break it will be clearer if Carrick has a strategy worked out to step up his team or they will keep in declining and hoping the manage to stay at middle of the league. There is no excuse whatsoever be it internal challenges or team management the fact is this managers were hired to stabilise their teams. Maresca just joined the league and he is already adapting well. A good manager should be ready ahead of the season. Man U gave so many hopes of a good start this season but many are beginning to question the competence of Carrick.

I don’t think Chelsea is ahead of Liverpool this season because so far in the league the stats are already showing that Liverpool is in control at the moment ahead of Chelsea . Liverpool are still unbeaten this season after about 6 games meanwhile Chelsea have lost two games already and are in 10th position while Liverpool sits in 6th position in the league table. Although the season is just started and I know as time goes on most clubs will pick form and most will lose form due to injuries or other reasons, but if the two teams continue like this I don’t see Chelsea anywhere near Liverpool this season.
I understand the passion of players to move to their favorite clubs especially when the club they want to go have interest in the players but I dint understand why Chelsea doesn't reject the offers to take away their best players. I was a ashamed for them when they were celebrating Cucurella when he won the World cup because when he joined the club, he was registered as Chelsea player but he now belongs to Real Madrid. They know very well they will have hard times if they sell most of the players and yet they still went ahead. Why sell Enzo to Manchester City, that team has not lost a single match but Chelsea has lost 2, these are the two best teams, they sold plenty of players I never imagined only to buy players that are half baked playing ridiculous match for the club and you expect them to win? It's not possible. They need the right players to be able to get a better place in the top table.

This international break also seems to have resulted in several Premier League players sustaining injuries. Well, that’s nothing new, it’s actually quite common. Here is a list of players who were injured while representing their respective national teams.
- Kai Havertz (Arsenal) - Christos Tzolis (Arsenal) - Zion Suzuki (Aston Villa) - Alexander Isak (Liverpool) - Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) - Patrick Dorgu (Manchester United) - Noussair Mazraoui (Manchester United)
There are a few other names who have fitness issues that I’ve intentionally left off the list. I hope the number of injured players doesn’t increase any further, because I want all teams to be at their best when the Premier League resumes.

I think theses average teams like Brighton , Brendforth and Leeds are strong now that the season is still very new, with time, I am confident their performance level with drop drastically. They have been so good, especially Brighton, their win against the big teams is something to talk about, and one thing I live so much about them is how they press. Their coach is indeed a great coach, they had a good coach before this one, but the set up in which this particular coach has used is very good, and I really live it. If he goes on like this, I am optimistic he will qualify for the champions league next season, but the fact they smaller teams don't always stay consistent till the season is over is why they might struggle at the end too.
The big news all need to be careful of these smaller teams that are dangerous because they are the ones who decides who wins the tittle and who goes to religation. As an Arsenal fan, I won't want any other team winning the league again, but my team.
Brenford i must say that it really surprised me in a positive way and all these teams that are growing i must say that they are remarkable with players of character, but the abyss that exists between the first teams in the championship always seems insurmountable, they are made of a superior level and this can also be seen in the championship score.

In terms of advantage, the only advantage I can think of is that Liverpool has more matches to play this season than Chelsea, so Chelsea has more time to rest better, prepare for EPL matches and deliver good results. Chelsea might seem to have better forwards, but the leak in their defense and midfield is still killing their game. Chelsea has more key players on injury as well. James, Caicedo, Joao Pedro and Palmer are currently out of the squad, so I don't know how to confidently place them at advantage over Liverpool here.

You wouldn't compare both Managers, I believe no rooms for excuses but Carrick got early challenges, his winger Amad got injured at the start of the season, exposing the team to weakness on both flanks, down to the backline. Working on it is what he'd focus squarely on during this break, because his boys find it difficult to connect from the defensive midfield to the frontline and as well lacks a perfect box to box midfielder.

Nico O’Riley is also reportedly injured during this international break. It has also been confirmed that Alex Scott of Bournemouth is also injured and he will be out for several weeks. Yesterday there were also faer of Erling Haaland got injured as he was seen asking the coaching crew to substitute him. Although the Norway coach said that it was already agreed that Haaland won’t play for 90 minutes in yesterday’s match against Portugal. With this pattern of international break, many players will return injured.

International duty was always bad for the club because their players potentially injured when played for their national team. However, it's not all of names from your list are suffering serious injuries. Some name such as Zion and Mazraou have suffered only minor injuries, and they will be available in their upcoming club fixtures. Regardless of those injured players. I think the total players to be sidelined will increase because we still have matches remaining in the nation league. So i guess we will be seeing more names to be added on the list, but hopefully, they new players who suffer injury will only get minor injury.

I also still haven't figured out the status of Fernandes, if he is injured or not fully fit either, United's prospects look bleak. Arsenal play Leeds in the next round, it is unlikely that this game will be a problem for them, but United play Tottenham, is it possible that they will drop points again? At least Tottenham might start picking up points, their current spot at the bottom of the table looks unusual. I can imagine the mood in the Liverpool camp ahead of the game against City But Haaland's participation in the game is also questionable.

I feel so disappointed with the way Manchester United are currently performing simply because I was so confident that this season will definitely believe for them, take a look at how they ended last season, they finished in third place and that was due to their performance, then after that we have developed so much confidence that they will be the only team in the Premier League that will stand strongly in this currency but unfortunately we are disappointed on how things are going now. Both Arteta and Maresca, have good players which they trusted and again we should know that Maresca was here last season, that is chelsea, so even though is doing well now he definitely deserve it because he have good players. Let's see how it will turn out to be if they return from the international break.

Liverpool presently ahead of Chelsea according to the premier league table, although I really don't think that any of the teams is better than the other, because I have not been impressed with both teams this season, despite Liverpool still being unbeaten. I have always mentioned that Chelsea has got a very good attack, but poor in other departments, and Liverpool on the other hand also have a poor team right now, especially in the midfield, but I still think they are on the same level, although the table says something different.

That's why clubs that are in multiple competitions need to increase their depth ahead of a new season so if some players get injured along the line or when representing their countries in international duties, they'll have options to replace them, this international break really affected Liverpool so bad cause two important players are injured and they have Manchester City to deal with after the International duties. As for Manchester United, Dalot could replace Noussair Mazraoui, he's already the preferred option but it would hit united so bad if Dalot is booked or injured to. Dorgu's injury would make them regret not signing a leftback and i expect them to take that position seriously by January. Arsenal also took a hit too, Tzolis is an important player, hopefully his injury won't stay longer.

I got this news and I like, I thought they said Manchester City is not state owned? I thought they said it's neither state backed? I thought they said those were mere allegations! Do they appeal allegations or sue for defamation? I'm not really conversant with the law, so people who knows should pardon me on this. They have been hiding all these along and if it's true this threat was issued then it simply means they are guilty and are admitting to it indirectly, why should a whole state pull off fund from a country simply because a club wants to be punished for breaching the league rules if that club is not affiliated with the state. I will keep on saying it until I'm proven wrong, these guys will get away with minimal punishment, money will definitely speak or exchange hands.

I agree with you that Liverpool looks stronger compared to Chelsea right now. In terms of defense, Liverpool seems quite solid at the moment, and also in terms of squad depth, you could say Liverpool has a better squad to rely on this season. Even though Liverpool is still in a transition process, making their performance a bit unstable, Iraola is still capable of handling this change and continuing to provide the best strategy to maintain Liverpool's performance. Meanwhile, Chelsea is still struggling to find their game. Their backline is also still fragile, and their players' fitness is also an issue that often hinders their performance, even though they are solely focused on the Premier League. Even though Xabi is trying to overcome these problems, it will probably take more time until he is able to really improve Chelsea's performance.

At this moment, everyone is getting confused about what is actually going wrong at Manchester United, because I don't think it is a lack of quality players that is resulting in them performing like this this season. Because if it is the players, I don't think they would have been able to get that kind of chance to perform at such a high level last season and even lead them to end the season in third position, despite not starting with great form from the beginning of the season. But what is surprising me is that it is almost every player that Carrick used last season and helped achieve that great form. These are the same players he is using this season, yet they are struggling to win matches. But let's see what will likely happen after the international break. That is just the fact about Arteta and Maresca. They have better players who have been in the team for the long term, just like Arteta. It's not like other teams that make some changes to the team and even get a new coach. It will likely not be easy for them because some players need more time to adapt to the team.

Xabi must strengthen Chelsea’s backline problems by bringing in fresh players. I don't know if changing tactics and play style can be effective for the current team, but their attacking line should not be a problem. But that’s what Xabi can do for now.

Let see how their manage to get through with their coming game's, the season is still early and yet Manchester City challenges have been glaring, now we understand more what cause their poor performance in the last season, where Asernal did more well that a club like Manchester City, their dressing room crisis and management internal structure have not put out plans to bring Manchester City out of the current situation, and the outcome become bad for them each game since this season started.

In some cases, fans play a role in the way a player performs, because the criticism and pressure with the United club is too much that it messes with the mental health of players. Carrick on the other hand looks confused and unsure of what he wants with the United team, his visions are not clear yet. After the International break, the fans should be expecting a better performance from the United team, their next game is against Tottenham, and they are yet to secure a win in the Premier league this season, could they break that against United?

Isn’t it too early to begin to question the competency of this manager, he has done a great job last season and that convinced the management to give him a permanent contract to stay with them. At least, he should be given some time to see how he’s going to turn things around. It is only until then and the season going far and no positive result from him can they now think of him as a failure and decide what to do. I still see that he can do better and has that potential. We have a long season to go from here, he can do better hopefully.
