I don’t think Chelsea is ahead of Liverpool this season because so far in the league the stats are already showing that Liverpool is in control at the moment ahead of Chelsea . Liverpool are still unbeaten this season after about 6 games meanwhile Chelsea have lost two games already and are in 10th position while Liverpool sits in 6th position in the league table. Although the season is just started and I know as time goes on most clubs will pick form and most will lose form due to injuries or other reasons, but if the two teams continue like this I don’t see Chelsea anywhere near Liverpool this season.

Like which Chelsea are you guys actually talking about? Is it the Chelsea we all know or you guys are having another Chelsea that I don't know? Oh the least I forget they have Chelsea in Ghanaian league, maybe it's that Chelsea you guys are talking about, because I don't think it's Chelsea of the English premier league, because I see no reason to compare them to Liverpool this season, that's actually a huge insult on Liverpool, I know you guys are Chelsea fans that's why you think them Arsenal or Manchester City, because the last time I checked this Chelsea you guys are talking about is as good as Manchester united and the both teams are as good as nothing this season, maybe they might pick up in upcoming games but for now, they are nothing but a piece of shit.

This means you are still hopeful if Chelsea being in the title race ahead of Liverpool and any other team except Arsenal and Manchester City if they did t get punished for the case that has been flying around social Media and everywhere; but I don’t think you are paying attention to how your team Chelsea is performing this season.

Chelsea have the best attacking players in the league, they lack central midfielder and because of injury, they also don’t have a reliable defensive midfielder which makes the team incomplete and your team will not be able to compete for the league if your did not add more players which can only be possible during the January transfer window. But for now, they are not among the best teams in the league currently.

In terms of advantage, the only advantage I can think of is that Liverpool has more matches to play this season than Chelsea, so Chelsea has more time to rest better, prepare for EPL matches and deliver good results. Chelsea might seem to have better forwards, but the leak in their defense and midfield is still killing their game. Chelsea has more key players on injury as well. James, Caicedo, Joao Pedro and Palmer are currently out of the squad, so I don't know how to confidently place them at advantage over Liverpool here.

They have a lot of games to play this season but so far this season began, they have not being overwhelmed with so much games that makes them already stressed out by now already. Liverpool have kept a clean sheet this season, while Chelsea has failed to keep a clean in their first five games this season. Chelsea have a good attackers with a defensive problem. They have scored 10 goals in the Premier League and conceded 12 goals in five matches. Chelsea has concede more goals than Tottenham who are now at the bottom of the table. This is one of the challenges Liverpool were facing in their squad last season.

Both teams are struggling with their midfield this season. But Chelsea is in bad shape than Liverpool. If Liverpool have to play against Chelsea at this point, I will bet on Liverpool to win or both teams to score since Chelsea hardly plays without conceding a goal. Xabi Alonso has a lot of work to do with their midfielder, and change his back-three formations.

I don’t even think Chelsea will be able to win the title this season, am not really satisfied with the pattern of play. Actually Chelsea performance isn’t terrible this season, and the season is just starting, just 5 matches have been played, and their performance has not been so bad in those 5 matches, but Chelsea will still have to improve their performance. I just have the feeling that Arsenal might be the winner of the premier league title this season, but it’s too early to conclude, let’s wait and see, how the season will be.

Manchester city performance in the premier league will be determined by how they are punished, and from the cases which Manchester city are guilty of, I feel they going to be properly punished which is really going to affect them. I can agree with what you just said, they have weak defense and their midfield is not very strong, the team is not strong enough to compete for the title yet, except Xabi Alonso has the ability to perform magic, he can only try to quality for the Champions League so the board can easily attract quality players thar would improve the teams performance.
 Asides Manchester City, Liverpool also has the potential to challenge them, but they'll need to maintain consistency and try winning more than they draw cause more points they acquire keeps the gap closer.

It's clear that Liverpool has performed better than Chelsea from the beginning of the season. Anyone who drags it out is being sentimental about how they watch football. They should check the number of goals both teams have conceded to see whether it is encouraging

Chelsea still need to adjust and learn more, I hope they are not too quick to replace the coach and let the current coach correct his mistakes and make a much better formula for the next games, sometimes I am surprised by the club management just from a few games directly replace the coach, when there needs to be learning and understanding all the talents they have in making a suitable strategy.

Chelsea doesn't have it so easy. Xabi has been working with what he has, and I think his coaching processes haven't gone as well as they did in Germany. There are many differences, but quality can't be improvised, and I think he'll come out of all this very well. Chelsea isn't like Real Madrid, where there were problems with players with big egos who controlled the coaches. In the Premier League and at Chelsea, everything changes, and here I think Xabi has all the authority.

What I think is happening is that they're in the toughest league in Europe. They don't get a break, and the matches come very quickly. I think he must be under a lot of stress, and that pressure sometimes makes the results he wants slip through his fingers because of simple details. The adjustments he needs to make are minimal, mostly in attack.

One thing that is frustrating about these international break injuries I when a key player gets injured at the specific time his club needs him most. For example if a team loses an important midfielder or striker it can affect their attacking setup, because losing players that are very important would definitely affect their performance in the league games coming up. So someone like gakpo or isak in Liverpool could make the manager to change the way the team plays because they are important options in attack and the same thing goes to arsenal with havertz. Hopefully the injuries are not that serious because losing the for long can have big impact on the team performance this season

They could win the appeal or maybe not, whichever the case turn out to, Manchester city better don't lose in the end because they will be punish and set as an example for other clubs. Untill then when the final judgement is passed,then we will know whether Manchester city will be punish but for now, Manchester city is ahead on the table. They are at the top with 15 points and are three points ahead of arsenal. Honestly, their in good form this season,it will be so disheartened if they are punished after putting in this efforts to be at the top of the table.

I don't think they'll be able to win the Championship (even if it's very early for hasty conclusions) but last year towards the middle of the season they stunned me, I followed them with enthusiasm and they recovered the many points lost, let's say they turned things around too late, but they still climbed the standings.
They could repeat the feat this season too, still having the time they could do even better, Manchester United are a great team, they just need to finish the play.

Well as expected, City filed an appeal on October 1 against the charges. And now according to the rules, the appeal will be heard by a new three person panel. The hearing is supposed to take place 12 weeks after the appeal was filed, and then the decision will be announced within another 30 days. So in fact, we have to wait another four months and I think it could easily take a little longer than that. So once again, this whole story could be dragged out for another six months. Therefore I don't think this should have any impact on City's matches.

Nobody knows how long it will take for the independent commission to process Mancity's "appeal"—it can drag on till the end of the season—although, they time gap to resolve appeals is now 12 weeks for hearing and 30 days for decision. Notwithstanding, Brighton is a very strong competitors for the league title, the beat Arsenal 3 nill in their last encounter; so...I won't just conclude that Chelsea and Liverpool are the strongest contenders beside Mancity and Arsenal.

You can trust Liverpool more than Chelsea in the league. Liverpool have only won 2 matches but they are still unbeaten while Chelsea have lost 2 matches and are on the verge of relegation. Or Brighton have a chance to do better this season as they have 10 points and are looking to compete with Arsenal. Man City are in great form but if the club is punished for their legal issues and points are deducted from their side, it would be unexpected for them. I still think Arsenal are in the best position to win this trophy. You are right that Man City can be considered their only opponent against Arsenal.

I think if we look at the performance of both teams from the matches they have played so far, Liverpool should definitely be superior. Because even though they can't sweep every match with a win, but at least they haven't lost so far. So that's clearly a very good advantage. Meanwhile, Chelsea, we all know they have lost several times so far and that's why they are currently in 10th place in the Premier League standings, because their performance is not good at this time. So I also don't know exactly why their performance is like this, even though they are trained by a very good coach, and I also think that Chelsea will be a very difficult team to beat this season. But yes, it turned out like this, and it's quite sad. But yes, with that, I think Liverpool is clearly superior to Chelsea, if we talk about team performance.
