I agree with your opinion, most of the coins that are pump more than 100% are coins that have low volume, usually coins like this don't have many investors or holders, so the possibility of the price falling again after pump is very large, and if that happens then only losses are we get when investing there.

The problem with these pump and dump coins is that you need to sell them right at the peak. If you delay your decision by a few days, then you will end up with a loss. This happened to me in 2018, when I was trading with DeepOnion. At one point, the exchange rates shot up to as much as BTC0.0011. But I was greedy and waited for more. The prices crashed very heavily (by more than 99%) and I ended up with a loss. I still have some of this coin in my wallets.

 
   That's a crash, 99%! I agree with you, if anyone has some coin that rises a lot should sell and take profit, being greedy in
these situations is risky, and can lead to heavy losses.
   When I see this picture with this 30000% rise I know something is wrong and I will not even check the project and what
is wrong there, I will just skip it and forget what I saw.

Even I have Deep Onion. Back in 2017-18, they had a very popular bounty signature campaign, which gave out huge rewards. By the time the campaign ended, I had around 5,000 coins, which were worth around BTC5. But rather than converting to BTC, I held on to most of these coins. I sold them later, but I received only around BTC0.15. And this remains one of my biggest regrets with cryptocurrency.

coin that had 1 BTC value, not even close. I participated in bounties in that time, and I had good success with some bounties, but
clearly it was success for my standards.
   It's like it's better to hold on Bitcoins in any given moment, than to risk with new projects and new coins. As Bryant.coleman said, sell
on peak, delaying decision to sell can be a big loss.

Yes, people who are experienced in crypto will certainly not believe in new tokens with low cryptocurrency trading volume, because there are still many good crypto tokens that can benefit traders and investors.

This would depend on your research about these coins stated in the above. If you think that it has a good demand I could say that there is a future for it, but if not, well I think you better think of it more than twice dude so that you won't gonna regret in the end of course. 1000% profits for just one day or a week? That was crazy and all I can say is that the owner of their project trying fooled us and somehow many of us believe that thing.

We have to take a look at first its previous performance. If this never happens before, it is likely not to happen anymore. We should not close our eyes but instead, we should have to know the facts and the cause it makes this hype because it is probably there is manipulation.

So sad that even altcoins now can be manage just to put them high profit. Why not run the crowdfunds instead? If this could be the reason then there is nothing good with cryptocurrency. I admit that cryptocurrency has unique system especially when it comes market price movement.

Anyway, I.hope that this is not true. I may exagerrate this reply but yes this really look bad if coins will be manipulated. There is no way that crowd will going to invest anmymore because of these manipulation activities in their own coins.

Most of the altcoin that have the ability to give such an outrageous percentage in less than 24 hours are being pumped and those pumping it would certainly dump the value after a while. If looked closely, we would find out that the token has a low supply and probably listed in a few or only one exchange.

I think you also experience losses due to price movements of sushi, when the price has gone up to be expensive the percentage increase has reached 50% then you don't buy it maybe you can open a short future because it's certain the price will collapse again, join the whales' game to get a lot of profit.

That is greed makes you lose but also used to have the same experience but I am applying it now and don't want it to happen the second time around, so when the price is high then I will take the time to get 50% which is enough, no need to wait higher again because we do not know when the price will end, therefore at every opportunity, we must take action and must not make it happen again now.

Agree, usually tokens or coins whose price increases reach thousands of percent have a small transaction volume so that it looks like there is price manipulation. I'm not saying that tokens that have a fast increase are scam, but we should be vigilant and see whether the price increase is natural or not

Natural price increases have not happened on a chart like this, have been very regular and beautiful for many days, and have suddenly dropped in price. Manipulation always happens when the entire volume is large on centralized platforms. Many exchanges dishonestly report the volume of the transaction.

it's just market manipulation, as long as I live only 1 time I have seen an altcoin go up more than 300% in less than 1 year namely YFI and that is with a very large volume on various exchangers
maybe others are untrustworthy and have a very small volume

Do t know if they get success in long term but the coins like yfi, meme are giving huge returns if bought early ,try to find such coins till yield farming craze don't go away. You can easily make 1000% gains in such coins.

YFIay be not much huge upside possible now as it's already high but may be Meme can still go 10x from here

DYOR though. Also try to find best gems early in Uniswap to get those crazy gains.

very risky, due to volume, the market cap is not clear. can only see the price increase, it could be fake. be careful, bugs can also occur in an exchanger. I've also seen coins that cost past bitcoin, but that was just a bug because the volume and market cap didn't say the same thing and soon everything was back to normal. that's all I worry about, hope you can understand what I mean.
