Just finished writing a post on someone else's thread about it: They were smart enough to set their supply to way fewer coins than most cryptos, and that attracted a lot of attention from everyone. If you were to multiply the 30k supply by 700 times (to get to BTC's max supply) and then divide the current price (~$29k) by 700, at Bitcoin's supply it'd be worth $41.5 right now. It's a very very vague calculus but I'm only considering the supply & price/coin.
In other words, it may be more expensive than Bitcoin but do people really not care about anything else besides price at this point?
As you are a Newbie, I would highly recommend you not to jump straight into the pumped coins if you're contemplating to. YFI may be $100k in a week or .. $1k. Volatility is a thing. You just don't know, and the timing is imo very risky right now. It's been a long time already since it's been very bullish. Coins that have really hard pumps usually have a period where the hype bursts out, and the price almost always follows. Therefore, just be careful when investing and make sure you don't get yourself screwed up by false hopes.  |

You are absolutely right. YFI is now over the price of bitcoin. I also just found out about YFI, and too late to buy at the price of 800 $.
Maybe YFI will head for the $ 100,000 price tag.

Don't getting serious Fomo at this moment. Lost of post like this who are literally upset as they having seen YFI at 4k and didn't buy. I can understand its really difficult to watch such massive pump in short time and not involve in right time when YFI was handy. |

Is it a manipulated growth, from the low value of price less than $900, and the peak value reaching high close to $29000+ is a big growth. It also has got good volume, which makes way for easy trading compared to more other leading cryptocurrencies that doesn't have volume and trade support. None could've predicted for such a growth, very few users around might have profited out of luck.

I still don't wanna believe in this crazy pump with YFI. Wtf! How can 1 altcoin worth over 2 btc? It's super crazy how this happens. BTW, I am hoping to buy some dips of this coin But that happens, and yes, YFI can surpass bitcoin in the price. I don't know what will happen with YFI when the bitcoin and altcoin market rise because that token is not following with bitcoin trend. It is too scary if we decide to enter the YFI pair because the price is too high, and that token can get dump too deep, and if that happens, many people will lose too big money. I don't try to buy that token because I don't have big money to buy. Besides that, I don't have the courage to buy and sell that token. I feel it still better to trade with the other coins. |

If I were to make money out of this hype I probably would buy much right now before it explodes to $50K this is a huge opportunity this pandemic. A crypto investor now has the thoughts of moving their BTC to YFI already because of this hype. |

Until now, if I don't have the answer, what really happened to YFI, why did it beat the price of the king of crypto (BITCOIN), is their token more useful than bitcoin or is this just hype  In the history that I know, only this time the coin price can reach $28k  |

Good idea to lose your money ~XD. This token started from 0$ to more than 30K$ with around 1-2 month, the reason why they got this attention because the HYPE and Media always talk about DeFI, DeFI and DeFI. Another reason, less supply and a lot token got locked to get some stacked from them with percentage stack earning more than 30%. If you see a lot project DeFI they only focus on less supply and offering some staked for their investor, did everyone not thingking this is just like Lending in 2017 when a lot lending platform creating because Bitconect? The investor of DeFI just focused into the reward stake, soon or latter we see a lot people getting rekt to this. |

YFI topped one billion capitalization, which is not realistic to stay, IMO i am not sure what is the main point of YFI to have such a huge uprising momentum, is it just hype or there is more, but one billion market capitalization should be proved by more than just hype, hopefully all win get their profit |

I will think this is a trap for so many who will run into this hype for quick profit. The pump is on for the risk takers but it is better to wait and see how the move is going because everybody seem to wonder. |

This coin is going so hard that it makes you think that if you buy in now it surely will go down, then you realise that it miraculously keeps getting pumped and then you start from square 1 again. It is so ridiculously high that it could dump at any minute, so it makes it risky to enter when it already multiplied like 100x already. I guess, everyone's thinking if I'd seen it earlier I would now be rolling...but that's life |

The supply of this digital token is 30000FYI token which 29000 FYI are already in circulation which means the supply was so limited compared to other tokens in digital world. If really compare to Bitcoin price and supply; then FYI token won't sort for $50 per token. Don't jump into this digital token because, there is much to happen to it price according to some rumors making around it core team members decision. |

The year 2020 is super crazy for all of us. It started with a pandemic which made the world lockdown. And now we're watching that and Altcoin is worth more then 3x of bitcoin price. Seriously!!
The team of this project was so smart. They played with the supply of the token. They knew people give attention to the supply of any token so they keep it very low to grab the eyes and create a hyip. I would say they are very successful on that and result is infront of us. I would suggest everyone to not jump in this token to grab some profit because anytime it will be dumped.
