Definitely, by experience I can say that it's really not gonna help us to win as most of the time that decision is wrong. Bookies knows most gamblers follows their heart so it's easy for them to manipulate the odds to attract public bets while knowing the other side has a better chance.

The public is following their hearts by betting on their favorite team, the smart money are going the other side, that's why majority loses in sports betting.

It's something we the experience sports bettors learn, newbie usually make that kind of mistake, they thought that easy line or sure bet do exist but they'll regret as the moment they'll put a significant amount, that's where they lose, also, we have to understand that having no control in gambling will make us lose more than we can afford to lose, maybe times in my life I experience that as well.

If you want to make some money using sports betting, you should follow stats and predictions, weather and ground conditions and bet accordingly on the option that you find is more favorable and risk worthy.
But people don't always gamble for money. People have their favorite teams and in some case, the team they hate (not in my case). They may go betting on them without any reasoning.
And there are some people with absurd strategy, Once I had a friend who always bet against his favorite team. The reason he provided was "If my favorite team win, I'd be happy but if they lose, I get the money as a compensation."
It's hard to generalize emotions of people.

Gambling can make us emotional because it's entertaining the audience. I don't think we need to stop those excitements, emotions just to become a successful trader. We should laso have to feel that we are in gambling, emotions makes us thinking that we are alive. The problems of some bettors is that they hardly manage to control their emotions making wrong decision that brings them in the wrong path.
We know that gambling is not all about winning but it is also we are giving suppor to our favorite team, wer have the trust that they can do it and that is why put a bet over them.

Not sure if that is true, lots means  a lot of people, I think it's not true, lots of people think gambling as a way to make instant money, a job is something like you work for it, trust your skills to make yourself profitable, lots of gamblers doesn't think that way, they want to make instant money through their luck.

There's double excitement betting and cheering for your favorite team especially if they are battling for a championship, that's probably the best time to bet for your team when they are in championship matches, I always do that it's a rewarding experience even if you lose you are still excited because who wants to see their team in a championship, of course, you want your team to bring home the championship.

This would make sense if your team is benefitting from the bets. Donating the money to the team instead of betting would be a better way to show your support. I think betting should simply be seen as predicting/guessing the right answer or likely outcome in competition/game with money or valuable.  And I think it should be done correctly.

You can watch a game with or without emotion, and that will depend on yourself
You can use their strategy to test your luck
But I suggest you should have another strategy, just if those strategy is not working for you because not every strategy that is work before will be work again tomorrow. At least you have a backup strategy for yourself.

For me I think it's really a bad idea if you just rely on playing gambling to earn money because we all know that when we play gambling frequently and if we don't control and discipline ourselves, it may lead to addiction. And being an addict is really a bad thing because we can lose all the things we earn in the mere future.

I am not saying anything like that, you've just gone too far. What I'm inly saying is that I treat betting as more of a serious matter rather than an entertainment. Because we're talking about money here and I feel bad every time I lose it. For me, every drop of it counts.

Attitude is very important as that would lead you to develop yourself, you already understand the right thing to do when gambling, winning or being consistent as a sports bettor does not happen overnight, it's build through time so just believe in yourself.

Thanks for the words of encouragement dude, I deeply appreciate it. Oh by the way, I just want to share to you that I won on a bet against my friend in Lomachenko vs Lopez fight happened earlier . The basis I used is the advantages and stats of the fighters instead of just going with the crowd's favorite. Even Lopez was the underdog, I still bet on him because I believe that he was just underrated. Guess what? I'm correct and my friend is now regretting lol. What a solod proof of brains over emotions.

I find it hard to bet against my favorite team, no matter how the odd seems. I prefer not betting at all than betting that my team will lose a match.
My emotions always comes to play when betting against  my favorite team. I enjoyed seeing them win all the time then losing. It gives me joy.

This mean you are not really a gambler mate instead you are a sports fan that wanted to support His team or not betting at all.
Actually we have the same views in regards to sports that will be betting because i would rather stay away of the game and remain watching than being a traitor to my favorite team.
and i think this is respectable than to put bet while the truth is the losing team is the one you desired to win at all.

Although for someone to win a bet this time around, he or she ought to put emotions aside. Football matches are really hard to predict now. Your best team can draw or lose a match. Look at what happened to this week premier league results. The big teams draw most of their sure winning match
