I just checked: Coinomi has a default fee of 0.001 LTC, so I can't even send it.
...
Good for you, promoting LN was the main point of my trade Smiley

I sent the LTC from Coinex exchange. the fee was 0.001 LTC also.
I thought the LTC transaction fee is expensive.

Your promotion was effective then. it works on me Grin

I saw you on @bpovtmg LN giveaway thread before.
you 2 promoting LN too.
Maybe you can join us here: https://t.me/bpovtmg_giveaways

Hey @TedMosby! @Mbitr made me aware of your little project. Funny enough I started the exact same thing just a few weeks after you did. I was unaware of your thread. I am trading up BTC collectibles, currently in the middle of my first trade. If I get any digital collectables I may swing by to see if you are up for a trade as well! Here is my thread if anyone wants to check it out.

Hey Ted, interesting concept. I would never expect it to work for someone like myself, and I read up about that paperclip guy, I couldn't myself find out why he managed to get those trades, assuming it's got a lot to do with who he is as a person and how his story struck chords with people. The tiktok video girl also seems like it's got more to do with her than with her dream;) All the same, interesting case studies and I hope yours becomes reality =D I might do a trade her too except I only Bitcoin =D so let's see how interesting it gets!

hi buwaytress, thanks for stopping by.
it's difficult for me too, to promote this kind of thread haha.
currently, I hold 1,001 satoshi of the lightning network.
my first milestone on this thread is to reach $1 in value first lol.
I hope we can have a trade in the future.

Yeah, I know you won't mind me saying so but I've seen what it takes for these sort of things to get viral and you generally have to be someone really lucky, or someone really good looking =p

All the same, if I happen on some alts at some point, I might pop by for a looksee.

P.S. I know it's *possible* but do you know a quick and easy way to do Lightning crosschain swap?

and people there tell me the same thing.
maybe I need to post my sexy body to make this thing viral on this forum.  Grin

my knowledge about LN is really at the newbie level.
I don't even know why a same invoice can be invalid in different wallet.
I am still learning.

Maybe LN ambassador @LoyceV can teach us Grin

As long as it's barely SFW, sure, why not? It might delight people at least;)

Now that I'm rummaging around old accounts on some sites I do collectively have almost 500 or so Dogecoin (actually worth over $1 woooo) I won't mind playing around with if there were a way to Lightning crossswap (I may very well be talking out of my ass here so please Loyce or whoever don't bash me) with some easy clients. I'm prepared to experiment and lose it over a weekend with you. We can be lightning legends or lightning simps.

Failing that, I'm happy to make your first trade up for 500 Doge but that's probably not as cool as fancy chain-to-chain swaps (I realise I could be making things up, don't hate).

I don't even know why a same invoice can be invalid in different wallet.
Invoices can be paid only once (disclaimer: as far as I know).

You mean like "atomic swaps"? I have no idea if that's possible already.

There are things like Tippin.me, which is custodial. But LN is highly experimental, I'm pretty sure other solutions will emerge too.

i don't know if the story you mentioned is the same with the one i have read years back, about that small item and He made a trade after and after to get what he wanted.

But you are an admiration for many of us here who wanted to have a Whole bitcoin but don't know how.

I will be following this thread for the updates.

There are things like Tippin.me, which is custodial. But LN is highly experimental, I'm pretty sure other solutions will emerge too.

I hope there will be a service that can automatically generate invoices based on the payer's input.

Many people have been making money trading cryptocurrencies for a long time, it is not so difficult as it seems at first glance
I do not believe that it is possible to trade on cryptocurrency exchanges and just get a profit. Cool

I am not sure if you two guys are OOT or just didn't get the idea of this thread.
this thread is about how I barter/exchange/trade my digital stuff until I reach my goal, which 1 BTC.
you can offer me digital products or digital services.

it seems like it will take a long time until I get the next offer.
so it means I have more time to hodl the latest stuff I traded.
currently, I hodl 1,001 satoshi of bitcoin lightning network.
if you are interested in having a trade with me, I suggest you install bluewallet app first.

How you will deal with transaction fees? I mean, maybe later it will be easier bur right now with low amounts it will take all your profit. If you are now holding 0.001LTC and you want to spend it, for that move you will lose between 0.0002 and 0.00002... that could represent 20% of the amount of LTC. So, you should think about it and contemplate this as a current problem in your goal.

I would recommend dealing with coins that have really small fees like Dogecoin. Maybe it helps a lil.

hi seoincorporation,
thank you for your question, I've addressed it before.
here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5274318.msg55212928#msg55212928

I do it for fun, if I can reach my goal, it just a bonus.
this is more like a social experiment for myself.
if it works, it might be my biggest achievement on this forum.

I know that I lost a small amount of money on the transaction fee. but I gain more experience, I learn new things in every trade I did.

Anyone here want to trade something with my 1,001 satoshi of bitcoin lightning network.
I prefer Tron, Doge, or any others crypto penny.

Oh, I am also interested in digital art.
Your digital art will be posted on the post #1.

Hello guys, can I get your attention, please?

▶▶▶ INTRO ◀◀◀
I was inspired by someone named Demi on Instagram and Tiktok.
She has a program/project called Trade Me Project With Demi.
Her goal is to get a house from trading/barter.

She started this project with a bobby pin. Yes, a bobby pin.

Source: https://www.instagram.com/p/CAq_9pWnO5l/

You won't believe it that the bobby pin leads her into earings, snowboard, xbox one, macBook pro, etc.
currently, she got a mini cooper car from this project.

▶▶▶ TRADE IT WITH TED ◀◀◀
I want to have a project like Demi.
But, instead of physical goods trading, I'm more interested to do it virtually, with digital goods like crypto, vouchers, digital arts, digital services, any digital things accepted.

I will start it with my Banano (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5165788).
Banano is a feeless meme coin. Honestly, I am not their team, but their community is fun to join.
No, I am not soft-selling it.

INITIAL TRADE : 1 Banano (estimated value $0.001).
CURRENT TRADE : 1,001 Satoshi Bitcoin Lightning Network (estimated value $0.1).

MY GOAL : 1 BTC.

My BTC Address for this project:

▶▶▶ TRIVIA ◀◀◀
Hi.   Smiley
I just want to take a second to say the origins story of this idea was a website from 2005 entitled "one red paperclip".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_red_paperclip
The owner of the website successfully trades upwards from a red paperclip to eventually owning a house.
Good luck on your journey!

I have a chance to read that journey of the Paper Clip and yeah that is insane but successful Journey to what He dreamed off.

Same as yours OP,i'm glad that there are sharing of something like this because it boosts our motivation to have the same plans and target.

i'll take this as experimental also soon, after i recovered my job this pandemic.

Hi btc78, nice to have you here.
Yeah, one red paper clip is a great story.
It will be a great achievement for myself if I can repeat that story on this forum.
I hope we can have a nice trade in the future. Good luck for you.

Currently I am interested on CAKE from pancakeswap.

Bumping this thread. Come on guys, let’s trade something here.
the bitcoin price already went up 50% since I did my last trade here.
Currently I am holding 1,001 satoshi bitcoin lightning network.
It’s worth more than $0.15 now.
If you have dogecoin, tron, or maybe a digital art or service that you want to trade with me,
please don’t hesitate to leave a reply here.
