I believe the CFW (Chinese Communist Party's internet censorship software) has blocked this forum. You will likely have to go where the CFW has allowed Chinese citizens to view.

I know that a-ads allows you to set a filter so your ad is only shown to specific language groups... That should be more or less what you're looking for? Create an ad for your site, create an a-ads campaign and set a filter for chinese language traffic only.

If you are looking for more views on this forum, you will not find many Chinese people. Few members of the local community are the ones who do, so the forum is not the place to get more traffic.


Check whether website hosting service is not banned in China, and then try to focus on archiving your site in Chinese search engines.
Redesign your site and change the colors, that is one of the fundamental reasons, I am learning the Chinese language, and the Chinese have a completely different taste in how the site is designed, display the writing, and other details.

We want people from China and also people who speak Chinese (e.g. from Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong etc.)

Yes, we are fully aware of how important that is to have a website in Chinese and not in English, that's a very major milestone we're trying to cross now and hopefully our faucets would be soon translated officially to Chinese. Thanks for the tip about the layout as well.

2. Facebook Ads

AFAIK, getting direct traffic from the country is difficult or it won't happen if this is the method. Because Facebook in China has been banned and that's why they have their own social media/messaging platforms that they've been using like QQ.com and WeChat.

Unless you'll be getting the traffic from Chinese people outside of the mainland which seems to be okay on op's concern.
