Uhmmmm, I was thinking of actually editing or deleting this application as, the aspired rank is now here already but, right now I think that won't be the best idea as this in a way marks where I've been and the steps to be where I needed to be.

Although, the required Merits to push through for a Full member rank might not have come from this thread or maybe directly, Ratimov, you did play a role earlier and even this thread might have given my user the exposure it needed.

Having that in mind, I'll like to say I am grateful and I am now a Full member. Cheers!

If you have the following amount of merit on the meter, then you can safely apply:

• 0
• 5 - 9
• 85 - 99
• 230 - 249
• 475 - 499
• 970 - 999

You are not eligible under any list so you will not get any help from @Ratimov but if you think you are quality poster and have not gained merits for your post you can apply here

But this thread is only for those who are near to their next rank but you lag 476 merits for legendary rank and you need to earn them through good contribution on the forum.

We really can't blame others for not reading the op carefully. I also misread something and didn't noticed that what I submitted did not meet the requirements. In my opinion, it is either that or that forum member didn't read the op carefully where the accepted are those who are almost ranking up where Ratimov explain how much merit is needed before Ratimov send some merits. I also didn't think that this still goes on since I noticed that many posts in some pages are not merited. Good luck to all. I'll be watching since I have somr smerits to spare.

In order to attain the next rank, "Member", you need 10 merits and 60 activity points ^[reference]. As you can see, you have enough merits but not enough activity points.

Besides, I suggest you read the OP's post again. According to the rules, you are not eligible to ask for merits here.

Well, I will blame those who don't read the OP before applying. They can't go scot-free of the blame. After all, they say "Ignorance of a crime isn't an excuse", not so?

That's right, Ratimov hasn't even sent a single merit to anyone in the last 30 days. His activity as a generous one of merit source has decreased greatly so far, and I think something may have affected him by now or maybe he is just resting. But I wish him well and continue his activities as one of his generous merit source. His contribution to helping users rank up is recognized, so many people will be waiting for him for it.

Honestly I don't know if this thread is still active or not because it seems like Ratimov who started the thread with his brilliant idea to help users who have little left for the next ranking doesn't seem to provide any merit since May 2, 2022.

But despite all that, I also don't know if Ratimov still works as a merit source but I'll put that aside for now as long as the thread is unlocked. I would like to take advantage of this thread and would like to submit my application as I am currently eligible to apply as I am now quite close to Legendary which is only 29 merit away.

As you quoted the whole post from @Ratimov, you should've have realized that you don't fit the requirement because you have more than 0 Merits and less than 5 Merits.
You can probably safe up some more Merits and apply again.
