You need to understand the reason behind the push for cashless society - and it's not the spread of germs through paper money. Governments want cashless society because it allows them to track everyone, banks and payment companies want cashless society because it's more profit to them. Advertisers want cashless society because tracking allows them to deliver targeted ads.

All those parties aren't interested in Bitcoin, because it doesn't allow them to achieve those goals, so Bitcoin would never be a part of it. You won't see governments telling their citizens to use Bitcoin instead of cash.

Yaeh, I'm agree with you. Nowadays, statistically cashless transaction increase but cryptocurrencies or bitcoin has no involvement on that part. Maybe governement is looking forward the disadvatage of using crypto or bitcoin in cashless transaction.

I think government only want a cashless transaction as long as they can still have the authority over it. It means they will allow  Centralized cashless transaction like already exist debit and credit card by the banks, paypal and other like this. But hoping that one day they will also allow bitcoin as cashless transaction for easy and safe transaction against viruses. Although bitcoin already used in some online transaction like bills payments and buying loads but still it's not enough.

I think government will support having a cashless payment system especially now that we're in this kind of situation but i guess not with Bitcoin because i think it will make it more complicated to others, and we've been using cashless payment using QR scan with different mobile wallet and it's very convenient for me, but maybe Bitcoin payment will be introduced and supported by many in the near future.

This year should be a adoption time for many since there is a need for cashless transactions and some mobile banks were having problems catering the services like in my country wherein banks always scheduled maintenance due to demand of online transactions, many sees it now using crypto to do transactions better safer and convenient as we can receive the money in a seconds, though fees maybe higher now

Bitcoin legalization is another thing, but does majority of the crypto enthusiast or Bitcoin enthusiast are willing to spend their cryptos to buy essential and luxury stuff?
I think no, as majority of us considered Bitcoin as a store of value and an asset that'll give us folds of profit in a long term perspective.
This is the area where Bitcoin struggles for mass adoption. People aren't using Bitcoin as a currency, though there were few who does, but many aren't.
This is also the reason why some of the merchants stop accepting Bitcoin or crypto as it lacks usage.

Bitcoin, no doubt used in many e-commerce sites, to make online payments, but if you see it as cashless way of payment method, then it cannot be possible.
The simple reason for this is the volatile nature of the coin, the price fluctuates a lot, and this will not help to maintain the 1:1 rate.
Moreover there are many countries which already banned Cryptos.
So it's useless in debating about the fact, that it can be added as a cashless method of transaction.

It is not just crypto but other online payment as well it could really help us to avoid having physical contact to keep our own or our house virus free.
I think it would be a good idea to use one right now I started paying through online wallet or online banks if the store accepts those kind of payment it is easier and faster compare to Fiat because they doesn't need to count for our change when we pay with higher bill.

But the problem is, only a few countries adopt the usage of cryptocurrency so it's very impossible to implement bitcoin as cashless payment. It's a great idea but hard to implement.
I doubt that it will become helpful because some aren't techy enough to control a simple mobile app.
Regarding on criminal activities, those criminals will obviously use bills for their crimes to avoid tracing.

Everything has got restrictions and the law. When government doesn't profit out of it, then law/legal structure will be created in such a way to restrict the usage of cryptocurrencies. So, based on the trust, convenience and ease transactions were made on mutual understanding. I wish the low volume transaction makers should also benefit out of it, because for a hospital bill I paid with cards and got deducted with a transaction charge of around $7.5 for bill amounting $400. In such a value of transaction with bitcoin, it also adjusts transaction fee almost the same.

And when it comes to cashless transactions they would prefer to use banks or other online payment instead of paying with their crypto.

Essentially, if we are talking about cashless society, bitcoin is an ideal currency for cashless transactions. However, its use will not be forced by any government, they are not going to adopt bitcoin even if its advantages during pandemics are obvious almost for everyone. You may be wondering why an ideal currency is not equaly ideal for everyone. It is mostly because of the fact that cashless society per se is not for the preventing the spread of virus of whatever kind. Virus is just an excuse. Almost all severe restrictions that have ever been applied are not for your protection, but for controlling you. With bitcoin it is just a lot easier to avoid being controlled, that is why it will not be adopted by governments.

Do you think about that? Honestly, it's unlikely for me to imagine that the future of our societies' money system to be digital at all. I mean, not all will be able to adjust on this kind of system. Probably most of the people in our world can but the others should not be left unless they don't allow themselves to have a digitalized monetary system even their governments are trying to help them out.

I think the world needs more time to use bitcoin as digital money. Besides that, people in many countries now have another option to use digital money, which is not bitcoin because many countries now join with third parties such as financing applications to help their members pay the transaction using the applications. So people now prefer to use that digital money than the crypto. But I am sure in the future, people will realize that the crypto can also be used for the payment system, and we need to be patient.

well Bitcoin and cryptocurrency is far from being used by the whole world because many countries are still against this and also there are other online payments that available in any countries so why need to have Bitcoin if they can have their own system?
this is the mindset of other government for not letting bitcoin enter their economy.

I do not believe that the government adopting cashless policy means the government is going to adopt bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The concept of cashless policy is to make transactions without the use of cash and it has been in existence for quite a while now even before bitcoin gained this much popularity.
It is important to note that cashless policy is exactly the reason there have been credit cards, bank transfer and even the use of POS. If cashless policy can be enforced using the aforementioned methods, then the government has no reason to adopt bitcoin. Another reason the government won't adopt bitcoin so readily is because transactions can be tracked using the methods I mentioned earlier and not with bitcoin. The government wants to be in control of our money and bitcoin does not give them this advantage.
