i am totally disagree with this that bitcoin is difficult to understand, its very easy to understand bitcoin and cryptocurrency if you have interest , and there are so many decent books to understand bitcoin and cryptocurrency, Also, the difficulty of understanding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies completely depends on what you actually trying to understand and how many you taking interest to understand.

this is because there are still many people who have not analyzed the blockchain technology in bitcoin.  But over time people will realize that bitcoin is amazing.  So we need to be patient and continue to believe in the future of bitcoin.

Cryptocurrency difficulty is a parameter that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies use to keep the average time between blocks steady as the network's hash power changes. Cryptocurrency difficulty is important since a high difficulty can help secure the blockchain network against malicious attacks

in fact if we start from the basics it is very difficult because we do not yet understand exactly what bitcoin is. but for those who are used to it and have been in bitcoin for a long time, everything will be normal.
what is really needed is to learn first in understanding about bitcoin as well as how bitcoin works. but this important point is sometimes forgotten by everyone so that they immediately jump into bitcoin following those who are already senior but do not understand the policy.
This is what makes bitcoin difficult for some people

You need to study hard to understand everything.

Some things may be learned through a short period of study, obviously cryptocurrency and bitcoin are not.

They need to learn for a long time. It's very easy to trade with bitcoin, but it's just to transfer bitcoin from one address to another.

It's hard to really understand the industry if you don't spend time.

reading the wiki about Bitcoin and its history and even seeing a  video about Bitcoin on youtube will definitely make us understand Bitcoin

It's not easy to understand about Bitcoin but that doesn't mean it's difficult to understand
someone who doesn't want to spend his/her time on something new that he/she wants to learn will never be able to understand Bitcoin

As long as you study Bitcoin patiently and don't have a utilitarian heart, it is not difficult for him to understand. You must have confidence in Bitcoin and firmly believe that the Bitcoin market will always be full of vitality.

As long as you study Bitcoin patiently and don't have a utilitarian heart, it is not difficult for him to understand. You must have confidence in Bitcoin and firmly believe that the Bitcoin market will always be full of vitality.

There's that religious BS about bitcoin again 'Trust-US", you know the founder said "Trust-Less"; Trust Jesus, let go & believe in BITCOIN

There are two sides of BITCOIN understanding

1.) Understanding the C++ Bitcoin core software, lots of hardwork, but so what right? If you understand this, if you got 10+ years coding C++ under your belt, no problem.

2.) Understanding the pump&dump post 2014 arse-holes that came into bitcoin, and created this 'get rich quick' monster BS

Now what is the OP talking about when he says' "DONT UNDERSTAND"? Hell by 2014 any high-school kid could bake a BTC clone with the open-source. Just change a few names with an awk-script, recompile, and BINGO, this is how Buterin created Ethereum.

I think the problem here is when they say you don't 'understand'  they mean you don't understand the bullshit that goes into believing mythology bull-crap that goes along with believing HODL, and all the shit-coin narratives that came from the con-men.

#1 above is easy, if your a professional CS person, you can grasp bitcoin.

#2 you don't need #1, you just need to spread the good word aka 'talk shit' and influence others to join the bitcoin ship to hell, bitcoin is a religious cult, pure & simple, what's to understand?

At the beginning of my contact with Bitcoin I think it is very difficult to understand, because it is completely different from the current fiat currency system, breaking people's traditional ideas, for me, the best entry level method is to see the white paper written by Satoshi Nakamoto.

If we are going to give ourselves time to at least learn the basics of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, then we should be able to learn many things about the technology and the how to's of cryptocurrency. I mean we are all here to somehow try to change our lives for the better. So I think all of us, in one way or another, will be obliged to learn about the technology. I mean if others can do it, why can't we, right? All it needs is a little reading and checking on social media and then some DYOR.

Absolutely I agree. In particular, such educational books should be read to state officials. Cryptocurrencies will affect our lives more in the future. I hope I can get this book somewhere and read it.

Peoples fine it difficult to understand what is cryptoccurrency most especially bitcoin, but their interested over cryptoccurrency.
I just suggest that their should be a TEXT BOOK that will discuss about cryptoccurrency in order to educate people who are interested because referring them to online shows that know Manuel evidence of cryptoccurrency. And if their is any article that guide bitcoin.

they need teacher to understand what cryptocurrent is. and more difficult if you talk with older, sometimes they have their own way to find that bitcoin is just bullshit.
younger, can be manipulate if you show how much income you get there. but, sometime, you will find that difficult because of lack of knowledge. so many people never follow about technology advances.
if you give them book, im not sure if they will read it, and when they dont get the point. sometimes, desire is needed than forcing people to know but techology.

It was the first time I learned about Bitcoin from a friend. It was the first period of Bitcoin's skyrocketing. It skyrocketed from US$13 to US$1,000 in a year. This investment efficiency is simply the greatest miracle of this century. We all think it is 90. After the last chance to get rich. In the next few days, my friend and I specialized in learning about blockchain and Bitcoin. A week later, we concluded that "blockchain may represent the future, but Bitcoin will return to zero sooner or later. I didn't care about digital currency until 2021. I accidentally saw a news one month ago that Bitcoin has risen from US$10,000 to US$40,000 in the last three months. How ignorant I was at the beginning, haha.

Clarification the 'white paper' was written in 1997 by BIS/IMF and called "How to build a digital bank"

The question begs to be asked, why didn't NAkamotoSatoshi (NSA) cite the 99% basis of his white paper? He doesn't even mention the mother paper, yet its 99% the same exact material, the only new was the solution to the double-spending problem.

I think because they learned too much theory about bitcoin. But that's not an effective way to get to know bitcoin. I myself never learned about bitcoin theory, I just knew that bitcoin can make money, after which I myself enjoyed getting to know things, such as history, mining, trading, economics, technology, finance. It's all on bitcoin. I hope those who are new come in touch with cryptocurrency soon so that they learn better.

With my experience learning it’s quite obvious that it’s a simple concept to understand if you take time learning about it and not rushing the process. We the community make it look like learning about bitcoin is a very hard thing to do and this discourage new users who would had picked interests in the currency. Sending and receiving bitcoin isn’t difficult but the other areas that are very hard to some extent.

They learned from a theory that there was no basis I think. In this case I myself am not difficult in getting to know cryptocurrency. Since we need to know what we are cryptocurrency for, I myself entered because I wanted to make money, and soon I understood about bitcoin. I think that way is better than having to learn from a lot of theories or books.

Bitcoin is difficult to understand for most folks because they do not appreciate what fiat money is.

Majority of people tend to think money = notes and coins. And when their bank says they have $20,000 in the account, it means that the bank physically stores notes to that effect. In addition, a large minority actually think money is convertible to gold.

Witness how people refer to bitcoin as "virtual money", not realising that dollars and euros are equally virtual i.e. just database entries. Further, the concept that dollars in a bank account are fractional claims on database entries tracked by a central bank is as esoteric as quantum mechanics to most folks.

Therefore, Bitcoin as a distributed database tracking a new kind of money is bound to be hard to understand.
